So, constipation is still a serious issue for me.  I've been taking 200 mg of Colace each day and it has been  better, but apparently that's not good enough.  The Dr. told me to add Senokot at night.  Well, that worked, but I need to work on the timing!  I got stuck in traffic on the way to work this morning and almost didn't make it to the restroom in time!  :open_mouth:

    ETA: Is it Friday yet?

Yikes!  That is a horrible feeling!
  • I'm with most of you ladies, same old nausea and crappy sleep. Low blood sugar also but I enjoy stuffing my face with chocolate and not feeling guilty still.
Those crazy dreams aren't going anywhere and I'm praying I don't sleep talk, lucky H is a heavy sleeper!
Oh and I don't wear bras anymore, it's spring now in Australia but still feels like winter so I just get to chuck on a loose top and a jacket to cover my naked boobs haha and no one will ever know
  • Add me to the tired club.  I went to bed at 11 the other night and woke up at 11:30 not being able to sleep anymore.  Super annoying.  Today I have not been able to stop eating.  I am so hungry.  For the most part, things are pretty good though.  One thing that I am slightly wondering about is that there is one spot on my uterus that if I push on it, it feels like I am pushing on a bruise.  Anyone else have a spot like that or ever heard of it?  I do not want to google it because I am sure that crazy things will come up.  I am not too concerned since this spot has been there right along.  I noticed it at my early ultrasound (I think it was 7 or 8 weeks).  The untrasound tech pushed the wand on that spot and I told her about it.  She said that that was normal.  I sort of put it out of my mind, but now I am wondering more about it.  I have an appointment next week and I will ask then.
  • @lainikins I have a similar feeling with two spots on my uterus! They also happen to be where I swear I was feeling ultra-strong kicks last week, but now I think I was actually feeling muscle spasms  :p I was going to ask at my appt on Thursday, but I'm pretty sure it's just from my uterus stretching. I've had a lot more tenderness in general with this pregnancy than with my first.

My cold has turned into a sinus infection. I feel like my head may actually explode. I still have the stubborn lingering yeast infection but the heart palpitations seem to have subsided. My appetite is non existent. Overall I'm just feeling blah.
  • I'm so over bras. I don't recall my ladies hurting this much the last two pregnancies. Maybe bc they were bigger to start with bc I was overweight. I don't know. But dang.
Same here! With my previous two, the boob pain had subsided before the second trimester even began. Now I feel like I graze them and I get shooty pains.

Mine are also swollen and leaking from time to time too.
  • @jlcrunchberry I can imagine how awful you must feel. I hope you feel better soon!

Is everyones acne still just as bad or is it clearing up? My poor face is gross, even where i dont have acne my skin is just dull. Wheres that pregnancy glow???!

  • @clc515 that gif, I cant stop watching it!! Thanks I needed a laugh!
  • @clc15 - your GIF is hysterical. My pregnancy glow just an oily face.
  • The extra sinus drainage has been my enemy from the start (only reason I have thrown up this pregnancy), but I've wandered in to the sinus pressure head balloon territory today and other than trying to prevent bodily harm my caring of what my toddler does today is about a 0

I'm pretty sure now that "the glow" is just a euphemism for oily skin, hormonal acne, and feeling hot all the time.
  • Speaking of "the glow" if you haven't seen What To Expect When You're Expecting it is freaking hilarious. There's a whole little part about "the glow"

  • @gingermama26 That is too perfect. I, too, am glow-less.
  • My SO says I have a glow, but I have no clue what he's talking about.  I don't see any difference except my skin is more dry.  I think it's cause he's horny and still not getting as much sexy time as he's used to.
  • Anyone else having trouble breathing? I'm 18 weeks, and I feel like my lungs already have nowhere to go.

Yea. Especially after going up stairs. And conveniently my classroom is in the second floor but the teacher bathroom is on the first. I'm always outta breath and I'm 20 weeks

+1 for being out of breath just going up the stairs. i need to walk more.
  • Yes to the out of breath. Sometimes when I'm talking to a class I have to stop because I get out of breath...

  • Anyone else feel too much pressure in their tummy when they sneeze? Maybe its because I'm full or always gassy. I find myself bracing myself/holding the top of my belly. But I'm nervous if I feel pressure now, does it get worse?

YES. This!! I thought it was just me. I'm so sorry it's happening to you, but selfishly glad I'm not the only one ;)
  • @mayapple44 , you're not alone!  In full disclosure, my skin has been nothing but terrible since going off of birth control 13 months ago, BUT, it certainly hasn't gotten much better since I've been pregnant.  My doctor did clear the use of topical salicylic acid (like a spot treatment), but I just feel greasy and pimply and ick.
  • This isn't exactly a symptom but seemed like a good place for the question... Especially for anyone with more sensitive skin these days, what are you doing to prevent or deal with razor burn? I used to use this product called TendSkin, but it's off limits in pregnancy (I think it contains aspirin and some other no-no things).
  • This was definitely how I felt this morning while getting dressed:

I get all my razors through dollar shave club and they have a shave butter that is awesome and my skin doesn't get irritated like it did with shaving cream. Of course, I only shave once in a blue moon because it's such a headache to do.

Stuck in the box!  Not this exactly right now, my belly just feels heavy in general. But I do remember having to brace third trimester of my last pregnancy for sneezes.

  • @clc515 Me! I have been bracing my belly for sneezing for weeks now. Sometimes they cause a brief sharp pain in my lower abdomen. Doc says its all normal stuff. But it is definitely uncomfortable

@clc515 bracing here, too. Generally I end up bending over a bit and using a hand to hug/hold my lower belly in place. Otherwise it's a lot of pressure and RLP
  • Nothing tastes good and I spend the last half of the day feeling crummy. I think it's because I'm not eating much but I can't make myself eat ugh.

I've got a heavy belly as well.

Oh and I need to eat every hour or  90 minutes or so,  because i can eat all the things (except seafood) but only a little at a time and then I'm stuffed,  but still hungry.

Also my arms keep getting super tired,  like I've lost all arm strength - it's super weird.

  • Also it feels like someone stabbed a needle straight through my nipples to my chest. I started leaking at 19 weeks with DD so I wonder if that's comin' round the mountain.
  • Just violently puked through my nose. Just why.
