  • *waving* hi @vlagrl29

@ELeighMay I know it's WAY too early for me... I have a 30/ 31 day cycle. I'll test in a few days. I'm trying to save myself from being upset. I do have lots of wondfos which I've never had before- so there will be many days of POAS this time!!!

  • jchpg So other than the fact that wondfos are WAY cheaper than FRER, is there a benefit to using wondfos vs FRER? I tend to buy the FRER simply because of the sensitivity factor and could never find a definitive level statement on the wondfos. Just curious if there's a reason you'd prefer one over the other, cost aside.
  • Welcome ladies.  I hate the waiting game.  I'm at 13DPO and pretty sure I will be leaving here soon to the WTO.  I'm just not sure when I should stop the progesterone.  I know it will likely delay AF.  We are traveling this weekend so it could interfere with starting new meds but I'm also considering taking this next cycle as a rest cycle to get that DHEA and Coq10 in my system before the next IUI cycle to see if it makes a difference but I also have questions for the doctor so I kind of want to go in for ultrasound so I can ask them.  Boy that was one long run on sentence lol.  Any thoughts ladies
  • maybe test again at 14dpo and if neg stop prog so you get AF.  It delayed AF for me.  Sounds like a good plan you have for the rest cycle. @Mack2342

  • @Mack2342 my RE said to test at 14dpo but I feel like I would want to wait an extra day. Just me because I feel like I never get an early positive.
  • @sprkls8506 I would age agreed with you on Halloween before my MC.... unfortunitly I think it'll forever be ruined for me. Oct 31st was my EDD from my loss. It's going to be hard this year. I was hoping that getting KD before then would help with the pain.... but this is pretty much the last cycle to have that happen. I hate all this.

  • @jchpg I hear ya!! Last yr I found out on Nov 1st that I would miscarry. It's weird because somehow I felt I knew. On the way to our appt I told DH I needed to prepare myself for the worst news-obviously hoping I was wrong.  :'(

@Mack2342 I've stayed on progesterone longer than usual so that I can "schedule" my cycles better. I don't know how long progesterone usually delays your AF but for me, it's usually only 1-1.5 days once I stop. Might be worth it to just stay on until you know what you'd like to do for sure so your weekend away doesn't mess things up for you.

AFM, I will O sometime between tonight and tomorrow morning so I go here now. I am not looking forward to Oing 10 eggs, let me tell you. My RE had me trigger last night to reduce the possibility of cysts next cycle and, with all the commotion about my monitoring results and back and forth with the RE yesterday and cancelling my cycle due to overstimulation, it wasn't until I went to bed that I remembered that we BD'd yesterday morning and on Saturday (my results on Friday only showed 1 dominant follicle, maybe 1 or 2 more that *may* have caught up and my estrogen level was really low). So, that means we Bd'd 4 days and then 2 days before O. I am slightly freaking the f*ck out. So, technically, I'm not totally "out" this cycle but I'm really hoping only small fraction of those eggs I'm about to pop are good  :# Of course, we are 100% abstaining from here on out.

  • @sprkls8506 I think I might wait until Friday. test again and then stop progesterone that way I can still get in for US on Monday

@jchpg EDD are hard.   My first one was this past March and second one is coming up in early November. So not looking forward to it.  I tried to do something fun and stay occupied. It helped
  • @ELeighMay to be honest other than the price I'm not sure what's best. Unfortunitly I can't get FRER where I'm at- I've been using clear blue easy which don't seam to be good for earlier detection- but it's what was abilible to me. Ironically while they are made in Switzerland they are like over double the price here... so I stocked up when I was in the US visiting family- mainly due to familiarity. I bought the wondfos via Amazon and had my family bring them to try this time- I figured for the price and maybe to satisfy POAS they would be the best idea.

  • I had wondfos once and I think I POAS everyday from 8DPO only because they were cheap and I had like a 100 of them.  I found it made me a little more crazy lol so I just stick with FRER that way I only POAS 1-3 times lol
  • Mack2342 That was my thought as well. If I have like 50 available to me I'd be POAS all the time making myself mental. I get my FRER off Amazon since they're way cheaper than in the store here. Small town, everything is way more expensive than it should be. But I do tend to buy two three packs at a time and it still gives me far more tests than I should be allowed.
  • @Mack2342 sounds like you have a good plan! It usually delays AF about a day or 2 for me.
  • @tosh24 Oh my goodness, lady! If you become pregnant with a litter of babies...  :o
  • So RE says take the progesterone 3 days after the surge. Surge was Sunday. So I was thinking I would start Thurs. Leaving 3 whole days in between. I don't temp so just want to make sure I don't miss ovulation. I have a very reg 28 day cycle and given last two months of CPs I know ovulation has been regular. Also my boobs hurt so I'm pretty sure it already happened. I seriously hate the TWW.
  • @ELeighMay I use wondfos until I get a faint positive. Then I move to FRER. I only buy the Wondfos because they come together with the opks. My first pregnancy I poas nonstop. This past one (mc) I somehow managed to keep myself in check.
  • That sounds like a good plan with the 3 day wait for prog @sprkls8506

  • And we are done having FW sex as of tonight - mic drop lol. Seriously looking forward to the break cause my uterus was sore tonight. GL to those left in the tww this month.

  • Racso12 That's what I was wondering. I wasn't sure if it was a preference thing, or if they happened to come with OPKs or what. I know I'm super brand loyal with things that I like so that's usually my only reason for using certain things.
  • To my surprise I O'd on CD 19.  I don't really temp anymore but know that the day before the temp raise is the O day.  I have temped the last few days and today was the day it raised.  I'll go ahead and track O next month too because I'm curious if day 19 is the normal now.  I haven't used OPKs since Feb and it was always around day 16.  So my question is how long of a LP is preferred - at least 10 days right.  If AF comes when I suspect I will have a 11 day LP.

  • Also just put a call in to have my Vit D level checked as well as my thyroid just to rule everything out.

  • AF showed up today. My sister is getting married 6/30/17 and I'm the matron of honor so I'm going to quit TTC for a bit. I cried majority of the day. My EDD of my loss is quickly approaching 11/5 and it kills me to not be KU as it rolls around...what a crappy day.

  • @shri929 I'm sorry about AF and ur EDD that is approaching. Sending hugs ur way.
  • @shri929 I'm so sorry. I'll be thinking of you in the coming weeks. Be kind to yourself.
  • @shri929 so sorry about AF. It definitely sucks to be approaching your EDD of your loss, so take it easy on yourself. Stay strong, and focus on some positive things for now until things get better overall. Hugs!
  • So sorry @shri929 hope you can get back to ttc very soon

  • @shri929 I'm so sorry about your awful day! The pressure to keep trying can be so strong it's difficult to hit "pause." I hope that you can take this time to relax, regroup, and that you hop back off the bench feeling rejuvenated! *hugs*
  • Thank you for all of the positive vibes ladies! FX for you all this month

  • Well took one more test, BFefingN! I'm now 15 DPO.
  • shri929 I'm sorry AF arrived and having to face your upcoming EDD. *hugs*

Mack2342 I'm sorry for the BFN. What a crappy end to another cycle.
  • @shri929 I'm so sorry about AF and the forced break. These last 5 years I have been vehemently against breaks as I feel they make me more crazy instead of less, but I was on a forced break last cycle and as sad as it made me, I actually felt a little relieved to just push TTC and symptom spotting, etc. out of my mind for a few weeks. EDDs are hard - I hope you are able to take some time for yourself that day. I hope you come back to TTC rejuvenated!

@Mack2342 I'm so sorry for the BFN :(

  • Thanks ladies
  • @Mack2342 sorry  :/

@shri929 I'm sorry. Your EDD is just after mine. I feel like each cycle is progressively getting harder as it approaches. Take good care of yourself.

Im 10dpo- still five days until AF is due. I tired my new wondfos... BFN yesterday and today- DH thinks I'm crazy because he said we didn't get a BFP until AF was 4 days late with our loss, but I keep reminding him I didn't test early last time so who knows. I'm sure I'll keep testing daily....  :|

  • @jchpg sorry for the BFN.  It sucks.  It's so easy to daily with wondfos.
  • Sorry @jchpg - I'm hoping it's just too early for you.
