WTF Wednesday

I'm still just annoyed that I am being sent to the specialist for testing when I didn't have to do it the first time.  Just do it the same way as before and do the damn NT scan!

Re: WTF Wednesday

  • My dogs got out of the kitchen this morning...my husband's aunt found our living room like this

  • Wtf to one of my remote coworkers.  He is always a huge lazy PIA (hello, go to another industry if you don't like details and regulations), but today he has taken it to another level.  As usual, I reached out to him to get additional documents since his lazy ass did an Incomplete job, and this weasel contacted another one of my (male) coworkers to see if it was really necessary!!  Luckily my coworker is really upstanding so he just told the guy that my request was reasonable and he didn't feel comfortable being involved.

Ugh!  Go do car sales if you hate accuracy and teamwork!

  • @Dumbgurl04   mmmm McD's.  I love me some nuggz and fries.  I'm driving to DE next weekend to go to my mom's, and it's like my tradition to stop there on the way.  Is it sad I'm excited about it?

  • Not at all @psuxray07 i'm sitting here waiting for it to be time to leave work so I can stop by the drive-thru on the way home.  I think it's the only thing that's helping me focus.

  • @ekendall09 there's any amazing burger place near me that makes the perfect combination of sweet potato and regular fries. It's glorious!

  • WTF work, don't put me in the middle!!  We did a last minute "fire drill" to pull together a group of ~50 people to train to take in homeowners claims due to the increase in claims for the hurricanes.  They were having tech difficulty getting everyone up and running and I connected some contacts from my old org to the girl running the pop up call center.  Yesterday the girl approached me asking if I had heard anything negative from who I connected her with.  Today the person I connected her with approached me telling me she was going to be reporting some things from the interactions because the girl was rude.  I feel like I got set up.  I tried my hardest to remain neutral, but really I just want to be left out of it!  Helping people through claims in cases where they've lost their homes is hard enough, lets leave the drama out of it!

  • Wtf Mayo Clinic? I had my blood draw on Monday, why is my hcg result not in my patient portal yet?  Whenever I had betas with ds the hcg was in by lunchtime the same day!  My PGAL brain can't handle the suspense!

  • @riversdoctor Uh yea that's super annoying!  I hope they get back to you soon!
  • I have had to redo this letter to the IRS like 6 times today because my boss keeps changing it.  It almost made me cry earlier.  Damn hormones.

@angiek1 My husband asked me yesterday if I think we will ever have sex again. LMAO.

Looks like my time is here... dead man walking. LOL I mean he has been on his own for my entire pregnancy. Maybe second tri I'll have the excitement again. Maybe this will kickstart my engine again!
  • WTF Wednesday at crossfit....incredibly hard workout that I didn't think I would get through, thenI get to school and realize today was the day the south parking lot was closed. Nearly a mile walk both ways!  I was already tired when I woke up due to tearful Tuesday and my meltdown argument with DH over 100% apple juice vs Capri Sun....lol.
    @HannahAlise24 , I would have cried.
  • @ngolimento are you sure we don't work with the same people? SERIOUSLY.

I had this happen yesterday in staff meeting. My co-worker sat down right next to me with a giant plate of food that smelled awful to me. No one at work knows yet. It took everything in me not to throw up on her lap. Sorry you were stuck on a plane with that.
  • @angiek1 and @thisgirlagain I feel you! Someone in my office microwaved a bunch of tilapia and left it in the kitchen. Smelled awful. Why?????

  • My WTF is for my DH. So we changed OB's this go around. My MIL is a nurse at my old OB (which I loved!) and it was just too close for comfort. Your MIL should know nothing about your who-ha, not to mention we are also team green-ers and it freaked me out that she could know the baby's gender before we did. Anyways, she asked my DH why we switched. Instead of being diplomatic and saying: "Oh we got different insurance", "Wanted to try something different", literally anything else... he threw me right under the bus. "She thinks you snoop in her files". Ugh! Things were already not great between my MIL and I.
  • Attention ladies! I have the cure for MS! My husband just told me that if I worked out I wouldn't feel sick anymore.  :|

I don't think I would call it a craving, but McDonald's has gotten more money from me in the last 2 weeks than in the entire 5 years prior. Fries and cheeseburger.

  • @JJMNO1616 @angiek1 My DH is in the same boat. I am on pelvic rest til the end of 1st tri. He is soooo whiney about it though.

@bmxerbaby I couldn't even get mad. I just kept picturing my dog rolling in the puzzle pieces with a stupid dog grin and his tongue flopping out of his mouth. My husband's dog is the instigator and mine just plays along.

@JJMNO1616 I bet you were like oh hey, thanks - I didn't feel like putting out anyway.
OMG your H! So glad a male can tell me how to feel better. ;) I love it when they spew their wisdom. It is gold.

@JJMNO1616 not to defend your DH, but I did find that when I worked out my nausea did dramatically decrease for a couple of hours.  But it is not a lasting effect, and you have to not feel like scraped up roadkill to actually do it.

  • @shireeallason omg DH. Where do they misplace their tact!?

My WTF is directed at myself - I cannot pull it together at work. I am tired, hungry, and my brain isn't working. I'm ready to go home please!!
  • @ngolimento Yeh, I don't doubt that it could benefit me in some ways but when I feel sick it's more then just nausea. I get headaches in the afternoon and I also start to feel dizzy. I would try to at least go for a walk but it's in the 90's here still. I normally spend my first 30-45 min at home after work just laying in bed and then I get up to cook dinner. Didn't eat anything last night though. It's been a struggle.
