JNCPro3130  I've spotted everyday since my BFP.  It's worrisome but there's really nothing you can do about it.  If baby is developing normally then baby is developing normally.... I've just come to terms with it.  My doctors aren't worried so I try to take a cue from them.  I also had a massive bleed and still saw a HB at 6 weeks 4 days.  So try not to think worst case scenario.  If you up your water intake that might also help.  GL.

PUKEY BURPS!  I think I just have to burp and then a lil puke comes up with it, lovely.  I think I need to do something about my acidic stomach because that's making it worse. I heard baking soda and water helps.  I try the natural route first before moving onto meds...any other natural remedies out there for acidic stomach?  SHould I cut down on my fruit intake?
Just don't try apple cider vinegar shots. I tried that while pregnant with J, and the puke burned, I couldn't stop crying, and every time I smelled vinegar for months afterwards I would get nauseous. Eat more pickles. It sounds counter intuitive but you want to eat more acidic foods to counter the acid in your gut. What's basically happening is there isn't enough acid to break down the food well enough and it's burns on the way back up. (I googled this years ago.)

  • I don't know how it would go now, but non-pregnant me loves to drink apple cider vinegar.  So weird, I know.  Not like an entire glass with dinner, just a little sipping here and there.

@sparkymcgeee here for commiseration! I'm up 3 lbs and I'm starving all the time so no end in sight. Definitely blaming it on the bloat, pass the snacks!
  • I may have cried and thrown away my scale today. I knew I'd have an unhealthy obsession with it so I took away the temptation. I was WAY more active with DD so I'm worried this time around.
  • @justsuzie During my last pregnancy my Ob suggested sipping almond milk to alleviate some of the stomach acid.  It seemed to help me, so might be worth a shot if you don't mind almond milk.
  • Bloat has taken me hostage.  I'm dying in my pants after lunch.  Is it 4pm yet?
  • I am staying off the scale unless being ordered onto one with a gun or at my Dr office.
I spent months working out and safely losing 25 lbs to get to a healthier weight. My own mother made a "joke" about the irony of me losing weight and hitting my first big goal only to get pregnant. Well, I was losing the weight to be more healthy for when I got pregnant again sooooooo I guess it worked? And now I have the confidence to lose the weight again.
I lost about 20 from my loss in April. Gaining four back already is definitely not in my plans. Especially since in my previous pregnancies I lost weight. We'll see what happens but good for you for losing 25. That's wonderful.

  • @sparkymcgeee, as long as you and baby are healthy, that's all that matters!
DH mentioned gaining sympathy weight with me and I laughed.  He's been within 5 lbs of the same weight since we started dating 7 years ago.
  • Food aversions and nausea for me. My mouth seems to taste bad and dry after certain foods, which makes my desire to eat even less.

But I'm really happy to have symptoms honestly. I'm so nervous. Feeling sick gives me hope everything is going okay (no appt until 10/3).

  • My hunger today was actually a little scary.  I could not get enough food in my stomach fast enough.  Every two hours I was snacking (mealing, really).  Still happy with sore nipples, bloating and nausea to remind me those hormones are floating through me, but my nausea is most severe around 3:00am, so that's interesting.

@charlestonchew the weight gain really scares me too as I'm "healthy" but definitely overweight - especially with this appetite I've developed!
  • I'm at week 6 tomorrow, feeling some fatigue, tender boobs, and mostly GASSY and HEARTBURN! You can hear my stomach growling from the next room, and every evening terrible heartburn. No nausea yet, when did others start to get morning sickness?
  • Has anyone felt sharp shooting "lightning" pain in their actual uterus? It's definitely not a cramp, it feels like a nerve firing off almost. It's like lightning crotch but of the uterus.
  • I have so much cramping and it moves from one side to the other. Did yours stop? I'm 7 weeks.

That's just round ligament pain. It's totally fine. It's just the uterus stretching.
Yes that's what it is, but it still feels like you're being stabbed from the inside out.
  • Is ANYONE else having a buzzing sensation in their leg/legs? It's creeping me out! Any ideas what it could be?

    Like restless leg syndrome?

Round ligament pain, soooo much exhaustion, have to pee all the time, and super thirsty. I feel like having a toddler makes the exhaustion that much worse I just cant hang.

  • I went to bed at 7:30 last night. It was wonderful. I want to go to bed so badly right now but DH isn't home and I still have to put the kids to bed. I am so tired.

Hang in there ladies. I know it goes against everything we were ever taught, but some bleeding is apparently "normal". If you haven't had an u/s yet, it could be a subchronic hematoma- I have a fairly large one and my OB warned me to expect more bleeding and said hopefully it will end by second tri.

@justsuzie and anyone else suffering with constipatuon, take Colace. It's safe for pregnancy. And stock up because your WILL NEED IT postpartum.

  • My nausea now comes with the added fun of indigestion.
