Hello all, I am a first time mom named Kim. We miscarried last spring and are hopeful to carry this one full-term! My husband and I live in South Korea where we teach at an international school. My EDD is May 10th, and plan to see the doctor in two weeks for confirmation! Looking forward to your support!
Super long story short, we got married, struggled to conceive, met with a RE, had 2 losses (one before, one after the RE), then used frozen IVF transfer to conceive our b/g twins born in Dec '15. I was part of the D15 bmb and active in pregnant after IF.
Decided to try again for a 3rd, had a consult with our RE for another transfer, took a test the day before and got bfn, anxiously awaited AF to start for us to begin our protocol, took a test Tuesday just because and it came back positive. Went in for 2 betas and HCG is rising. So one of our just for fun times ended up being more than that. We have unexplained infertility and were told this was a possibility, but who would have actually believed that?
We are being cautiously optimistic, especially with this special snowflake conception. No edd yet as I have wonky cycles so we'll need to wait for dating u/s.
I've been lurking this board a bit while waiting to feel more confident in this pregnancy. Still not too confident, but enough to say hello and pop in on some threads to start giving support. Here's to a happy and healthy 9 months for us all.

Hi May mamas! I'm so excited but super scared... I experienced a loss at 6 weeks back in June. I couldn't help myself and wanted to get on here to celebrate this BFP news!! BFP date 12 DPO. I was convinced I wasn't pregnant so I stopped testing at 10 DPO. I'm a STM, my LO turned 3 this year. Excited to get to know everyone and read your posts! celebrate every moment!
@salixjoy38 I am feeling the same STM Mama guilt. We are still nursing as just past 2 years and as much as I want DD to feel special I really want to have special moments with #2. I'm hoping we can find a good balance.
This is my second post, the first was to get on the May spreadsheet... So I'm still figuring out these abbreviations. I got my BFP this morning! 16dpo. I spotted a few days ago and thought we just hadn't succeeded again (we've been trying for a few months), but then never started my period so here we are!
I'm a high school English teacher and so is my husband! We are still kind of in shock but so excited. I have two furbabies. I like to quilt, and watch Netflix shows. My husband also does some music journalism so we love going to shows and listening to records on Sunday mornings.
Looking forward to learning and growing with you all!
I have a 3 year old(4 in December) and a 13 month old. I did not expect to be back in these groups anytime soon but here I am! I had an ultrasound yesterday and baby is 7 weeks tomorrow with an EDD of May 6. This baby was a complete surprise so I'm still kinda in shock! I feel way more nervous this time than I ever did with my other 2!
I never really participated in the other bump groups I was in more of a lurker but hoping to participate more this time around!
Hello! I'm a STM from Alberta, Canada, I have a 17mo son. Due May 3rd, but with my ama (I just turned 39) and fibroids and previous c-section, I'm sure this one will come end of April.
I'm joining late as I'm PGAL and was a little anxious until we got to see a hb earlier this week. My babies are the product of fet's, thank you science!
I recognize one face from April 2016, I mostly lurked until my app froze.
I look forward to spending the next 7+ months with you guys!
Hey everyone! Pregnant with #2 and just found out today! I'm a stay at home mom to my darling 22 month old daughter, Scout. I was a member of the Nov 2015 board if anyone happens to be here again? Planning on having a midwife and desperately hoping for a different pregnancy and birth experience. Really looking forward to getting to know everyone! ❤️❤️
My turn for an intro... I have been lurking on here for the past couple days, so I'm finally happy to meet you all officially! I got my bfp on Thursday... really still can't believe it... got 4 days of gradually darkening lines on the wondfos, and bought some frer's to really make it stick in my mind, took two and they were both positive. EDD is May 22nd based on LMP. I will be a STM, i have a DS (Blake) who was born in June 2015, I participated in the June BMB, but wasn't super active, more of a lurker Hoping to be more active this time around. Will be calling my OB next week to figure out the whole first appt timing. Last time around I had a different OB for the first half of my pregnancy. But this OB/practice is the same one who delivered DS. In addition to DS, I am mom to 2 dogs (6 year old Newfoundland and a 1 year old Golden Retriever). I have been with my SO for 12.5 years, not married, no plans to be. We are comfortable.
I got my BFP yesterday, so my due date is end of May. I'll be a STM and my little one is 10 months. Yes, this new little squish was planned and we were actively trying for the last two months. Just didn't expect it to happen so soon!
My BMB from last time is amazing, and I hope we can all have the same experience this time around! Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Hello, ladies! I'm cautiously posting here. I'm 14 DPO and got my BFP this morning (2 in fact lol). *possible TW I've been spotting this morning so I'm hoping this baby is just getting comfortable. End TW* According to online calculators, my due date is May 29th.
I'm a mommy to a 2.5 year old son. My DH and I have been married for 8 years. I'm a 3rd grade teacher with a wonderful class! I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!
Hi All! I'm a FTM, 25, and proud member of the teacher club! (Any other teachers struggling not having bathroom breaks?!) I got my BFP on Labor Day and have an EDD of May 16th. This is our first pregnancy and we are both overwhelmingly excited, nervous, and feeling so so blessed. I'm trying to focus on the first twelve weeks before starting to think long term but I'm still in awe over the fact that there's a tiny human growing inside me right now. I can't wait to get to know this Bump group as we go through this together!
Married: 12/19/15
BFP: 9/4/17 EDD: 5/16/18 DD born 5/10/18 Postpartum Complications

So far no issue with the bathroom breaks but I'm sure it's bound to happen!
Hi Everyone! I got my BFP this morning. EDD is May 31 according to FF which is 10 DPO. I turn 31 in two days and have a 2 year old daughter. I was extremely active in my August 2015 bored and have met some of my favorite mom friends from there. I am a cardiac nurse at one of the city hospital. Married to my DH for 4 years but together for 10. I'm really Looking forward to getting to know you all!!
I’m due May 17! My first pregnancy, my first baby, but boy it was a long and hard road to get here.
Hubby & I had male factor infertility, we started trying to conceive 22 months ago and now I cry with joy almost every day for our miracle!
We went through 3 IUI’s and 2 rounds of IVF. Our first round was awful, we had no embryos to transfer or freeze. The second round went well and we had 1 fresh embryo transferred - they told us that morning it was the only one left (we wanted to freeze and do genetic testing on all we had). So we were disappointed but hopeful. By that afternoon we had a phone call from the embryologist saying we had 2 embryos that continued to develop and were frozen! That was the first surprise.
We ended up losing that fresh embryo, no BFP. A few days later as I was mourning the loss we got the phone call both of our frozen embryos were genetically normal, and we had 2 boys! After all we’d been through we did not expect such wonderful news that both were normal.
Our transfer day was August 29 with our 5 day old blastocyst.
We were meant to not test at home and wait until our first beta, however on Sept 3 I just felt to take the test, also Australian Fathers Day (we are both Aussie). I took a couple of the cheap tests. I threw them out thinking they were negative and then took a Clearblue weeks estimator. I was walking over to the bed where hubby was lying and I saw the “Pregnant 1-2”. I was so shocked I reportedly said nothing and silently showed him the test. We felt instant relief and joy! Lots of tears too.
We took a quick picture with our test and some knitted booties I made. We sent it to our families and surprised them as they weren’t expecting news until the 6th; there was a lot of crying and screaming! I wrapped up the test to give to my best friend and we cried for 5 mins, she said it was the best present ever. My due date is a day before her son’s 2nd birthday. I am very close to him, and he was also the result of a few hard years for them. So that’s quite special for us. She’s a wonderful and useful friend as she’s an NP in ER, tells me everything about pregnancy and helps with any medical Q’s.
Hubby is in finance, and I am a proud “stay at home wife”. I have been concentrating on our infertility treatments after fixing up the home we bought here. Before that I was a commercial interior architect/designer.
@bumpemma, wow! That's quite a journey you have been on! Congratulations!!
Thank you! I love that our baby boy has had quite the surprising journey. I see you have a boy too. FYI my hubby (the greatest man I know haha) and I were married 1 week before you!
@bumpemma, your son will have a great story when he gets older!
Neat! I love that our anniversary is in the summer! Our wedding was outside and at the beach. DH says he'll always make sure I have fireworks for our anniversary and considering it's on the Fourth of July...he hasn't let me down.
Hi all! This pregnancy I was switching over to babycenter at the recommendation of a friend, but it isn't nearly as chatty and that's what I loved about the bump last time.
I got my BFP on 8/22. I was fully expecting to get a negative and was planning to cry and take a day to be depressed about it *TW* I had a chemical in March and was feeling the need to cry about it, so I took the test to get myself started. *end TW* Needless to say I was shocked. EDD 5/3.
I'm a STM with an April '16 boy who is at the same time my light, my joy, and my crazy. DH and I have been blissfully married for over 3 years now.
I am a children's librarian in a small-ish town in the midwest (<20,000) and I need this board to get out all my snark and sarcasm so it doesn't affect my work. I love my job. I tell people I became a children's librarian because I hate quiet, and there's some truth to that. I have morning sickness, and as luck would have it, I am teaching 4 cooking classes a month through November. I've already announce my pregnancy because with me retching all the time, work needed to know what was up.
@libfish825 and @JenniatONU I used to be a school librarian at an urban middle school and LOVED it!

Happily married since 5/24/2015 Momma of a baby Viking since 4/16, expecting #2 in 5/18
Hey everyone! I've known for a few weeks now, just a little late posting. I took four positive tests at the end of august and got confirmation from the doc as well. EDD is May 3rd. I am a preschool center director/teacher and am very nervous about how i will get through this first trimester with kiddos who make my gag reflex even worse now that I'm pregnant...haha
Hey everyone! I have had my positive blood test for almost a week now I get a sono soon to figure out for sure how far along I am on Wednesday. This will be my 4th live birth I have had 5 previous miscarriages. I have 3 amazing little boys but would really appreciate some pink dust my way. We are estimating my due date to be May 9th but baby will probably be here sometime in April as I've never carried full term
Hi there! Like so many it seems, I have a March '15 baby (DS). I was actually due in Feb though and was active on that board, but we have moved to FB now. Hi @cups4!
*TW* I had been due in March '18 and had a miscarriage in late July, with a D&C on August 2. I am shocked/excited to have gotten pregnant after my first cycle trying again. To say I am super anxious about this pregnancy is an understatement, though. I am comforted by the fact that so many of you know what I've been through, though I'm very sorry that you all know as well. I'm also hypothyroid and got my levels checked on Saturday, which were too high, so I'm expecting a dosage increase on Monday. I'm nervous about keeping my numbers in a good range because of the mc, though they were likely (hopefully) not related.
I'm super happy to be here and look forward to getting to know you better. I have some catching up to do as many of you have been around for a few weeks.
EDD is May 27, though I won't be surprised if I'm overdue again.
Hi everyone! I got my BFP on 9/6 and am due May 17 (our 15th Anniversary!). We have a 4 year old son and have been dealing with secondary infertility for a couple years. We are so excited!
@JNCPro3130 We're Aussie so ours was a winter wedding! It was nice to have a summer anniversary last year we went glamping in Colorado! @cups4 We live in USA (over 2 years now)
Hello! I am expecting my second child on 14 May. I have a 2 year old daughter. We were trying for several months and are really excited and happy about this pregnancy.
Hi all I am expecting my 2nd bub on 24 May. It took 4 cycles to fall this time. My daughter is 22 months (born Nov 2015 but due 4 Dec) and I'm sure she will just love having a sibling. That said, I think this will be my final child. I'm happy with 2 Also, I'm Australian. I haven't spotted any Australians (living in Australia) yet.
