Hopefully I'll clean the house, water the garden, play some card with MH and brother. I slept in this morning, which was the best! But, now I'm debating whether or not to excercise, since it's smokey again here Pretty boring weekend for us, and damn, we need it!

MH and i took the girls to breakfast and then went food shopping. I helped my daughter w her first piece of pre-k homework: a self portrait while dd2 colored. Naptime for all, including myself, is coming up soon! Once dh gets home from golf I'm getting a pedi. i should workout but I've been experiencing hip and back pain which causes back spasms so I'm skipping today and may try to do it tomorrow.
Tomorrow we have a beach playdate and then dinner for our anniversary which was on the 12th. My MIL is watching the girls.
I tried making my very first batch of donuts today, and I am pleased with how they turned out! Later I will be making yet another round of tomato sauce. I am buried in tomatoes since I was house-sitting for my parents and their garden has a zillion tomato plants.
This board is dead today! I'm bored and nothing is going on, lol. So I have a bunch of randoms. H called me and said he got drafted for a double, so he won't be getting home until almost 11 tonight. I seriously need to clean the house, but I'm having trouble getting motivated. So far I've washed 2 loads of laundry. Toys are everywhere and it's been driving me crazy for like a month.
I feel like my next step will be pulling out clothes to put away that are too small for DS so I can put a bunch of his new fall clothes in his dresser...because right now, they've been sitting folded in a hamper in his room for like 2 weeks, lol. I really want to sell a ton of stuff, but not until we know if we're having a boy or girl. Dang it, November, way to not be yardsale weather!
I had to turn on the a/c today...I was really enjoying the high 60's weather we had recently. I'm done with sweating! I want to wear pants and hoodies!
I'm disappointed that I'm going to have to sell my Hersheypark tickets. I had gotten tickets back in May, but DS broke his arm, then the same month he got his cast off, I got pregnant, and then he just broke his arm again...meh.
@psuxray07 there were a couple of white knights on the Ramzey thread. We were told thoroughly that we all are horrible monsters for not being sugary sweet to her. I tried to be helpful and provided some interesting facts, but so far I don't think the white knights have appreciated my efforts to please.
We had a birthday party for my 5 year old at our house this morning. It was only slightly less work (and slightly less expensive) than planning my wedding. My daughter enjoyed it but damn - next time I do one of these I need to not be first trimester pregnant.

Had 5 hours of first aid and cpr training this morning, blah, death by video. Came home to finish watching the Univ of Mich win their football game, woo! Now I've found Harry Potter on Freeform. And The Incredibles and Frozen are next!!!!! My plan is just to sit on the couch all night
@psuxray07 omg nope. Pie in the trash. Sad but necessary.
@JJMNO1616 I know what you mean about feeling like a completely useless waste of space sometimes. But just keep reminding yourself you are literally the opposite: you a perfect amount of space for your comfy little nugget and it will get better! And yeeeees GO BLUE!!!
lol, I didn't know how long that spider was in there. Probably since last night. It could've made a little web somewhere ewww. I texted my mom right away like "should I eat it??" and she was like No there could be eggs! I doubt that, but, not knowing how long it was in there bothered me. Like, if I had it open and saw it come from the outside, then I would've still eaten it, haha.
Attempted to take the girls to their first college football game today and it was a total bust. I think part of the problem was that we did Parents Night Out at church last night, so they were up later than usual, and it was sooo dang HOT at the game. The 3 year old just dissolved into tears and stayed that way. It was so sad. I think the 5 year old would have made it, but she started feeding off her little sister. Oh well. Maybe in a few years. Plus the Aggies aren't doing so well this year anyway.
@ngolimento I will now be making donuts tomorrow. Thank you very much lol!
@psuxray07 NOPE! I probably would have cried not because I'm scared of spiders but because my dessert was ruined!
Tonight we took DS to the Chinese Lantern festival. He was so excited and happy to go. These are moments I love as a mom. Tomorrow I will be vegging on the couch eating!
Oops I guess I got confused and tagged @psuxray07 because of your name!! @tooraloorah I was actually out at a bar thinking club sodas like it was my job lol but definitely left shortly after half.
I house sat for my parents then came home today and picked apples from our tree and grapes. Tomorrow I'll make/can apple sauce and Tuesday I'll make/can grape Jelly.

Saturday I ran a 5k and got 3rd in my age group. Full disclosure it was a small race. Then nap time for me and DD. After that college soccer game and half of a college football game. DD loved it!!! Sunday we celebrated wife appreciation day lol and went out to eat and then family nap time. Now catching up on bachelor in paradise while MH is at a soccer meeting.
@psuxray07 I would not have eaten that pie, no way.
@tooraloorah I am, but not from main campus. But I hate football and basically most sports, lol. I'm assuming that's what you guys were talking about, haha.
My husband complained all day of a bad headache ... and this evening he was moaning about it and saying that it was getting worse. It was more than the typical "I have a cold thing" so I told him he should either go to Urgent Care tonight, or we'll get him into the doc first thing in the morning. He opted for Urgent Care.
Y'all. My 30 year old husband has shingles on his forehead and eye. How does that even happen!!
I'm calling my OB in the morning, because one of the things the doc he saw said was make sure to stay away from new babies and pregnant women.... hm. Well, I'm pregnant, but thankfully the girls are older. I'm sleeping in the guest room tonight though. Crazy. And poor guy!!

Whaaaaaat? How is shingles on your eye even a thing?!? Omg that poor man!
@Sissy42 I'm pretty sure I had a small outbreak of shingles about 2 years ago. It eventually cleared up on its own but it was pretty painful. I'm so sorry to hear he is dealing with this! Good call sleeping in a different room.

I'm right with you one hoodie weather @psuxray07. I hate feeling hot, i just want to wear my comfy hoodies f this heat.
Not really doing a lot just sitting around watching football pretty boring day, but I'm ok with it.
I hope the kids fall asleep soon because being their assistant and referee is driving me crazy.
So I have another. This just ruined mine and DS's dessert and is such a waste now
@psuxray07 Ek! That sucks. Hope he has a different home now.
@cards10 Go Blueee!
@ngolimento I thought the facts were very informative.

I thought it was safe to fall asleep when the score was 28-0, but Saquon is so awesome!
