Hi ladies! We have a pretty quiet board, so I thought I'd ask a few more GTKY questions!
1. What is your ideal pizza?
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
Re: GTKY: A few random questions!
2. I'd go back and be a geologist. I have a bachelors in geology and it was so much fun. I wish I could've made a career in it.
3. I'm hoping this one will be better than last time. In every way. So far it is.
Eden: February 8, 2016
Ivy: April 3, 2018
Baby 3.0: Due September 26, 2020
Chicken, green pepper, & tomato OR sausage & banana peppers
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
Something in the astronomy field
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
All the kicks! Also not having to "suck it in".
Supreme. Now I'm craving pizza.
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
Honestly, I don't know. I'd love to be a lawyer, but I don't like the hours. Being a teacher is pretty much the best of both worlds to me.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
The honeymoon of the second trimester
1. What is your ideal pizza?
Pepperoni and black olives. Damn now I'm hungry!
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
I'd work in technical theater. I did it all through high school but fizzled out in college. I love working in theater but I had gone to an all girls high school where we did everything ourselves, so when I got to college I was very turned off by the chauvinism of men in technical theater. They assume women can't do anything. I dropped out of the major and it still makes me sad (although my current job is much more practical and actually earns me a living wage so I guess I'm okay with it overall lol)
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
showing a bump! So tired of just looking fat.
I just mainly like pepperoni pizza and add some garlic powder on top. But bacon and italian sausage is good too! Oh yeah, and it has to be like the good, thin, normal pizza you get at actual non-chain pizza shops. I mean, I'll eat pizza from almost anywhere, but to really enjoy it, I want the good stuffffff.
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
I like my career. But I'd choose something that I'd be rich and basically not have to do much work, so I can enjoy the beach and kids/family forever! lol
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
The belly and the kicks! I loved feeling the kicks and movements. I would "play" with him by putting objects on my belly and he would kick or punch in that spot.
Ugh... I can't even think about pizza right now without wanting to gag. Haha. But usually anything with lots of meat and pineapple... Yeah.. I'm one of thooose people that actually likes pineapple on pizza. Haha.
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
I always wanted to be a radiologist. I've always had an interest in the medical field but I don't think I'd have the people skills for nursing. I've had tonnes of x-rays and ultrasounds in my life and always leave wanting to know more.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
I went through my first 2 pregnancies virtually on my own and always thought my favorite part would be having a husband this time to do things for me... And he does.. He's seriously amazing and has been running the house most days because I've been so sick. But I feel so guilty I can't even enjoy it! I can't wait for the 2nd trimester where everything is supposed to get better. And also where I actually look pregnant and not like I just ate a giant plate of spaghetti. Haha.
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
I would go into medical research. Maybe work in a lab.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy? Honestly? I hate being pregnant. Even if there was zero worry or discomfort, the loss of my body belonging to me is really mentally hard. I don't like my body being everyone's business or concern.
So I guess my favorite part is right after birth and meeting my baby for the first time. That shiz is magical.
Chewy hand tossed crust, no thin or greasy deep dish please. Also lots of cheese and black olives. Or just a good ole taco pizza. Mmm
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
I'm happy to be a sahm, and if I had to choose a career I'd honestly go back to being a vet tech. LOVED my job.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
The kicks and yes @sapphires-and-diamonds not having to suck it in.
Baby #1: Aug. 2016
Baby #2: April 1st, 2018
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to? I would be a nutritionist/dietitian or something to do with travel.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy? The kicks and feeling movement.
1. What is your ideal pizza?
Cauliflower crust, light sauce, spinach, gyro meat, olives, feta and tzatziki
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
sonething with it and information management, not so much troubleshooting but development/maintenance
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
sharing with dd and seeing her reaction now that she's old enough to understand.
@riversdoctor that pizza sounds absolutely amazing! Now I am going to have to find a place that has something similar.
1. What is your ideal pizza?
Cheese and black olives
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
I would love the opportunity to be a SAHM.... but not in the cards right now.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
Kicks and movement. It is the best! Until their foot gets stuck in your ribcage
1. What is your ideal pizza?
Hawaiian! Perfect combo of sweet and salty.
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
So random, but I'd work for an NGO that does microcredit lending. My senior research paper in college was about this, and I'd love to dedicate my life to it.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
The very end! The last few weeks suck physically, but I absolutely love the excitement and anticipation that comes with knowing a new baby will be home soon. It's pretty magical.
Napoli style (super thin but soft crust) margherita (crushed tomatoes, really good mozzarella, basil, and olive oil). We're going out for pizza tomorrow after our family photo session, and this is what I'll be eating.
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
I really love my job, but if I had to choose, I would be a high school science teacher. I used to TA and tutor for science classes in college and loved it.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
Kicks are cool, but honestly I'm most looking forward to being done.
I guess I don't have one - I will switch between cheese, pepperoni, margarita or even Hawaiian depending on mood. I am in camp "pizza currently makes me want to hurl," though, so nothing for me at the moment.
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
I currently SAHM but used to work doing political asylum cases. It involved more travel than I wanted to do with kids, so I guess I'd just change it to where I can somehow do both. I definitely miss my work.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
@irenejean yep, I want to be done as well. Pregnancy is just so stressful - I wish I could be one of those who just enjoyed it, but I guess I am a worrier.
2. Probably fitness and photography related. I wanted to pursue birth photography a few years ago but got cold feet and wasn't sure how to leave a stable job and make a dream happen. I'm not great with needles etc but the miracle of birth is so beautiful to me.
3. Movement is my favorite part.
I'm a classic plain gal. Nothing from a chain (papa John's, dominos, etc) unless it's from Manco's. I'll try any pizzeria whose name is Tony's, Pat's or Vinnie's lol.
2) career change w no questions asked:
Fitness instructor. I love a good workout and talking about fitness and learning and sharing all things fitness.
3) looking forward to most in my pregnancy:
Not feeling fat. Also not hiding my belly. And of course regular movement which is the only thing that really settles my nerves.

2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to? I'd really live to be able to be a SAHM (haha, at least I think so right now...), but I'd also like to be a dietitian like @sparklingdiamond or possibly an architect.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy? I don't know, as I'm a first timer, but I am definitely looking forward (like many of you) to showing/being visibly pregnant and not just fat

3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy? haha I'm with @tooraloorah, I can't wait for feeling awesome in the 2nd trimester. I also love the first movements before there's feet all up in my ribs and kicking me in the lungs.

2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
Now this will be out there but either an actress or a lawyer

Having a bump and feeling kicks. Plus having more appointments so you can hear the heartbeat.
I will choose breakfast pizza every time I have a chance. Bacon eggs and cheese, please.
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
i'm sure it would still be something in the medical field. I'm a nurse now. Maybe a surgeon.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
feeling the baby move and finding out what we're having. The second I had my daughter, I instantly missed feeling her move.

I really like the buffalo chicken pizza from Pizza Ranch
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
I would like to be a nurse, but don't think I could handle the really bad injuries.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
I look forward to feeling the baby move. It's the most amazing feeling and makes up for all the aches and pains and nausea!
I have three faves lol. For homemade I love veggie pizzas with all kinds of veggies, fancy cheeses, and lots of basil or pesto. For our fave pizza place I love their sicilian pizzas... pretty much any of them... But I'm a New Yorker at heart and love a good slice of NY Style Cheese or Pepperoni.
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
Honestly, I don't think I'd change to another career. I'd be hard pressed to find something I enjoy as much but still has the benefits and work/life balance afforded to me in my current job. However, if my life path had gone other ways and I didn't have kids or a husband I would become: an attorney specializing in constitutional law, the owner of a salon (hair stylist/makeup artist), or an event and travel planner.
....I would happily trade my current job for being independently wealthy so DH and I could just hang with our kids though... lol.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
I like the not sucking it in answer. Yup, that's what I'm most excited for this second.

1. Honestly I can't dream up a perfect pizza because there's too much I like! And now I want pizza for breakfast. I love thin crust, hand tossed, and deep dish. Chains don't bother me and I also love local pizzerias. Almost any topping is fine except black olives. But yea, you throw some banana peppers on there and you've just created magic.
2. I love being a homemaker, but if I had to choose a job it would be personal trainer/kickboxing instructor OR a chef! Lol
3. Also looking forward to a real bump instead of bloat, baby movement, and buying new bras!!!

pineapple and black olive maybe add green pepper sometimes! ( now I want pizza!)
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?

@peppersmith22 One of my friends is also a RD! When will you be done with the program? The internship process is so brutal.
@kmalls I have no idea what microcredit lending is. lol
2. My ideal career would be to be a great therapist. I really regret not pursuing this, especially now that I've become so specialized in finance.
3. I'm really looking forward to being past the genetic and chromosomal screening. I had a great first ultrasound but my AMA brain is on overdrive now. I just want to confidence that this is really going to happen and that this baby is going to be healthy and then we can screw him/her up.
I am not a huge pizza fan, but Chicken Thai Pizza is pretty delightful.
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
I would like to build stuff all day or just always be working on projects. I enjoy what I do and it kinda incorporates the project thing, but it would be fun to maybe work at Ikea just to put all the displays together. Or build sets for plays..really anything hands on.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
Feeling the baby kick and finding out the sex.

3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
At this point I'm struggling that I haven't heard the heartbeat or US, last time I had it earlier so to wait until 12 weeks feels like a life time! I'm also looking forward to finding out the gender. Oh and really looking forward to feeling better in second trimester, hopefully!!
1. What is your ideal pizza?
I love taco pizza!!! Only from Godfathers though.
2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
Real world...I would like to try accounting. Dream job....own and operate a bakery with my sister.

2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
I'm honestly pretty happy in law, and found a way to have a pretty good work/life balance (I leave at 4 everyday). But I'm sure there are jobs I would love more. Probably something that involves being outdoors. Ooh I would love to be a travel or food writer if I didn't have kids.
3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
Grr,it cut off all my first post.
Im probably one of the few who hates pizza...lol
If I could change my career I would only have chosen to go back to school sooner(currently in school for NP after being a kidney transplant nurse for 15 years) And I'm most looking forward to buying baby stuff. Since we thought we were done, we are starting from scratch.
