Here's the deal...our bodies, our decision to disclose anything. I just find it absolutely ridiculous that people think they deserve to know what's going on with our bodies. I actually developed pretty sever social anxiety after my last loss because of the general publics "need-to-know" when I was going to have a baby. Two days after my loss at 8-9 weeks someone asked me when I was going to have a baby because I had recently gotten married. That experience caused me to retreat from social settings to avoid the topic. Also, I had gained about 5 lbs and a ton of bloat so I was terrified that people would speculate I was pregnant. I guess this is a huge rant about how it's nobodies business about this stuff and I'm somewhat disgusted when people bring it up. Rant over.
We told 4 close family members so far and that's it likely until we get our ultrasound and cell-free DNA testing done.
I also have a wedding this weekend. I got really good at fake drinking during my first pregnancy so I'm not concerned. I love gin & tonics so club soda & lime or lemon works well for me. I've also ordered real alcoholic drinks and my husband just sneaks large sips so it looks like I'm drinking. He really does take one for the team and drink for two sometimes
