WAYDTGKU: BBT (when I remember), CM/CP (also when I remember), pnv's, HIO, probably gonna try out some opks starting mid-week
R/R: rant - nah.
rave -
Hopefully this week at work will go better and I'll be able to check back in more regularly. TW had a friends baby shower on Saturday, totally rubbed the preggo belly for good uterus ju-ju
CS/Q: not atm
GTKY: What was the best part of your weekend? Is there anything you're looking forward to this week?
Hmm, I can't even answer my own GTKY. TW The baby shower was surprisingly fun. I'm glad we went to it. Friend was very appreciative and loved DH's contribution to the gift - captain america wrapping paper and duct tape. I'm working on a new project for the parents to be (taking home baby gift basket) which includes a felt stuffed animal fox that I'm making. It's actually turning out pretty cute. I'll post pics of the finished project. End TW Look forward to trying out opks? I lead a thrilling life.

R/R: rave: I slept fully through 8 hours last night - this hasn't happened in so long!! I often wake up in a hot flash, and I'm thinking the temps are cooling off enough now to support comfortable sleep...yay!! But, temps can stay above 0 for now...lol
CS/Q: Nothing to see yet
GTKY: What was the best part of your weekend? Is there anything you're looking forward to this week?
1. Hiking (see pic in spoiler)
2. We went to see our new house and they've started painting inside - I'm so pumped the colours that I choose look awesome!! (Well I say colours....light grey, basically white).
....It's such a busy work week, I am looking forward to the weekend.
@lurvleybunchococonuts I totally don't judge you for looking forward to taking OPKs. I had a stupid amount of fun taking them this cycle; it was my first time trying them out and I will definitely continue taking them in my future cycles. Hope you enjoy it too.

WAYDTGKU: OPK (evenutally), Prenatal, HIO (need to get a couple shots in before I leave Wednesday. Then resume when I get back Sunday. Still got time)
R/R: Monday...but a short week so can't really complain
CS/Q: Nada. Just a waiting game right now.
GTKY: What was the best part of your weekend? Is there anything you're looking forward to this week?
OMG All the things! And all the things keeping me distracted from TTC so not stressed about it right now. Best part of my weekend was definitely Footloose Auditions and seeing all my theater friends. There is soooo much talent so it will be an amazing show.
For this week? DISNEY!!! It looks like the world survived Irma and just needs some cleanup. This is a good week
CD: 15
WAYDTGKU: PNV, charting, temping, CM, sex
R/R: It feels like the Mondayiest Monday ever. My parents who live in FL decided yesterday to head to my house in OH. They had been on vacation in MA but needed a place to crash since the hurricane is still ripping through FL. I worked half day yesterday and then went home to power clean. I'm happy to host them, but man I'm pooped.
CS/Q: I thought I would be benched this month but I think not all is lost after all! MH left Saturday and I think I ovulated yesterday which means we HIO -4 and -1. Feels like there may be a chance. I'm now waiting on two more days of high temps to confirm O.
GTKY: I went to a music festival with friends Sat night and then spent the night with a friend who lives close to work (I worked Sun so didn't want to drive 30 mins home Sat night). I had a great time and am thankful for good friends. I'm looking forward to spending some time with my parents this week!
@canucklehead123 That pic from your hike is gorgeous! Also, very exciting about your new house!
@nimmle Yes, I'm relived about Irma. My parents are still trying to contact friends in Miami to get a status report on their house. As of last night power and cell service were out down there so they weren't getting responses.
@canucklehead123 The picture is beautiful! We are doing a step challenge at work so I should really get out on a hike! Also those sound like my type of "colors" MH wanted to paint the bathroom blue so I let him and I secretly don't really like it. But he let me paint the rest of the house while or light grey or one of my favs Cappuccino White.
@nimmle Glad the audition went well! Keep us posted. Have fun at Disney! Last year we went basically the same weekend and went to Food and Wine fest at Epcot! It was dangerous though because the wine and beer will sneak up on you!
@jaylii Congrats on the timing! FX for you!

WAYDTGKU: waiting for AF to bid her adieu, BBT, OPK's (also excited to try), PNV...all of the acronyms
R/R: rant-AF!
CS/Q: not much right now but for those who are regular tempers have you ever compared a regular digital thermometer to a BBT? I know the BBT is more accurate but I don't really feel like buying a new thermometer.
GTKY: What was the best part of your weekend? Is there anything you're looking forward to this week?
Best part of the weekend was the charity gala on Friday ( @offtoneverland thanks for asking, sry I forgot to pop back in yesterday) it's always fun to get dressed up and its crazy to see them raise like $55K in a few minutes with people donating from their bids.
This week I am looking forward to my birthday on Wednesday! Also, were having friends from WI visit this weekend.

Also, for the thermometer - go for the BBT. The first cycle I started temping, I just used a regular digital. It kept giving me the craziest readings...like according to it, I had a mild fever every day. I thought there was something seriously wrong with me until I figured out it was the *brand new* thermometer. I bought a BBT off amazon and the readings are way better/more accurate and the BBT has more functionality (ie. alarm clock, saves temps for 60 days, reads to 2 decimals etc.).

R/R: Harvested a bunch of squash and cucumbers from the green house, they just seem like they were done for the season and it really opened up the the place taking all the vines out.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What was the best part of your weekend? Is there anything you're looking forward to this week? The best part of the weekend was going home it was super cold camping out. Next weekend H wants to take a drive to check out some flea markets.
@lurvleybunchococonuts Really I just think OPKs is just another excuse to feed the "peeing on things" obsession
@canucklehead123 OMG 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep? So jealous.
@jaylii I'm glad your family is safe. I have family in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach and we just heard from them this morning that all is well. Some cleanup to do, but they now have power again and nothing flooded.
@krashke Yay for Birthday! You have anything special planned?
@Stargazer1lily ooo yum. I love both squash and cucumbers. I'm so jealous of those with actual land to grow things. Living in an urban area is not quite conducive for that
@canucklehead123 Oh that hiking spot looks lovely! I miss hiking so much. Maybe I'll be able to convince DH to go this weekend...Congrats on the house almost being done. I love the decorating part of a new house. Your color choices sound like what I would choose. I love a nice light room. My DH would've tried to paint things orange or a lime green. He just doesn't realize what those would look like on a large scale...haha.
@nimmle So glad that your auditions went well! Did you find out already if you made it? And YAS for Disney surviving Irma! Glad that she weakened so quickly once she hit solid land. It definitely could have been much worse. I hope y'all have a fabulous time in Florida!
@jaylii Chart definitely looks like you O'd yesterday! So glad y'all were able to get some timing in. So glad your family in FL is safe!
@krashke Sorry about your migraine! I have compared my bbt to a regular thermometer and they were similar. I just prefer my BBT because my regular one sometimes favors a temp, and the BBT that I have doesn't. What do you have planned for your birthday?
@Stargazer1lily I freaking love flea markets! Are y'all looking for anything in particular? Thrift type shopping always makes me happy. I love the little treasures you might find...

WAYDTGKU: Will be doing all the things once AF takes off + OPKs starting around CD 15
R/R: Nothing really to rant about. Happily I took the weekend off from the Bump, and caught up on all my readings and homework. I'm pretty happy about that!
CS/Q: Nothing to see here!
GTKY: What was the best part of your weekend? Is there anything you're looking forward to this week?
Best part was coming home Friday to find DH home. His training is about three hours away so I didn't expect him to come home over the weekend, but I was so glad he did! That's why I was MIA all weekend! We had a super chill weekend, and just relaxed the whole time while watching reruns of How I Met Your Mother. We're about to finish it for the second time, so we'll have to start up Big Bang Theory reruns next
@canucklehead123 and @josie12367 thanks for the BBT advice. Maybe I will just stick with the regular dig this month and FX I don't need it next month but if I do I might get a BBT to be more accurate.

@canucklehead123 I tried seed cycling last cycle &it was 3 days longer overall (didn't lengthen LP). Trying it again this month! Is this your forever home? What details in the home are you super excited about?!
@nimmle do you have a Disney trip planned or in general happy it wasn't obliterated? Lol about 'shots.'
@Stargazer1lily MH & I love browsing flea markets in lazy weekend days!
@jaylii any idea how long your parents will be with you? Glad they are safe & FX for their home.

@lurvleybunchococonuts That is super cute! Well done!!

WAYDTGKU: Benched.
R/R: Rave: weather was absolutely gorgeous today. Went for a nice long walk with my dog. Rant: Really wanted to run, but tried 1/4 mile and my wrist started hurting. I'm supposed to run 5-6 miles in October for a marathon relay but I really need to start training and my wrist definitely needs more time to heal. It's a bummer.
CS/Q: No questions today. Thinking about temping next cycle--this week I've had some super light spotting and cramps but no change in CM. BBT might help me tell what's going on, perhaps next cycle when I am off the bench!
GTKY: What was the best part of your weekend? Is there anything you're looking forward to this week? My favorite part of the weekend was eating fish and chips on the beach as a last hurrah for summer! This is a pretty busy week at work, which doesn't bother me. It will go by quickly!
@lurvleybunchococonuts cute fox
@lurvleybunchococonuts love the fox friend!!!!
