@Hopeful_mom Thanks for the encouragement! I will definitely ask when i go in for my US. What vitamins are you taking? I'm now on prenatal with DHA, Vitamin D, Vitamin B complex, and CoQ10. I asked my doctor about royal jelly and was told to not take it. They didn't really give me a reason, just that they don't recommend it. I was kind of disappointed as i read a lot of success stories online with royal jelly and it makes sense that it would be very nutritious since the queen bee has to give birth to an entire colony. I will ask again when i go in for my US.
I'm so sorry for all that you are going through. I can feel your pain as i read your post. I know it's frustrating not knowing all the ins and outs that control our body. After all the medications and the work you've put in, off course you would want to know that everything was done correctly and maybe you are right, skill of retrieval could make a difference. Those all fall into the unknown category. I often think about all that's still unknown with fertility. Yes, we are making great strides in science and it's ability to aid in those who are unable to conceive, but there's still so much we don't know. I wish there was a way to find out exactly how to guarantee conception.
I hope that this month passes by quickly for you and everything goes as planned with your FET. Know that 5 normies are a good number to go into FET with because they have already been tested by PGS and i've read many success stories of just 1 normie resulting in a successful pregnancy. FX your BFP is just around the corner! Try to fill your calendar with errands so that you will have little time to think. That's what i do as i wait for AF. Even when i have time, i try to walk the malls or watch a movie to take my mind off of things. My DH is already very stressed with his job and i don't have any friends in Texas since i just moved here from Michigan, so it's very lonely. I'm glad i have you gals to talk to, you guys are my saving grace.

@babyhopeful442- so glad you found us, this is a lonely process, but probably extra hard when you just moved to a new place. Maybe there is a local resolve chapter you could get it? I have loved getting to know ladies in my area in person who are going through this. I have already made some life long friends. I really really hope this IUI will work! Did you run the numbers on how many you will do before considering next steps?
@hopeful_mom- Hope you had a nice long weekend and didn't have to work the whole time! Is work slowing down soon? your transfer is going to be next week right?! I hope you are getting excited! I am getting excited for mine, and I don't even have the embryos yet. I really wish i had 5 PGS normals in the freezer waiting for me I know you are going to get success out of those! Thanks for remembering my bday! You really have an amazing memory and abilitiy to track everyone's status and milestones!
AFM- baseline is tomorrow, and AF is kind of here- still very light, so hoping it comes fully so I can have a good baseline tomorrow!

@JamieH2000 my insurance pays for 6 rounds of IUI. So i will probably exhaust that before moving on to IVF. That's a good idea, I will def look into the support groups near me. I'm currently volunteering in the nursery of my church, so that helps to be able to hold babies, even if it's not my own. Even when they cry, i get so happy calming them down. Well ladies.. I am utterly devastated. Today was the baseline for me and the donor... and the donor is pregnant. I can't even believe this happening. We have been waiting for 4 months, did all the legal, and supposedly she was on the pill. The clinic is giving us priority in rematching and will try to get the process going ASAP, but right now I just feel broken and I am questioning if I even want to continue on this road. I never thought that literally EVERYTHING in this journey could go wrong. I thought I was at the worst having to use donor eggs when I started trying at age 27, but apparently not. I'm sorry for the negative post but I am so broken today. and not sure when there will be light again

@JamieH2000 oh Jamie, I'm so completely devastated for you. I can't believe this has happened in the way that it has. I know that there isn't anything i can say to make the situation any better. I pray to the heavens that a replacement will be found very soon!
Sometimes when i'm completely devastated over an outcome that is totally unexpected and not at all what i prayed for, I pray to god for a reason. Not all the time, but sometimes the reason plays out later on and a better outcome results. It's like final destination. What seems to be such a bad thing missing the plane turns out to be the best result of fate. I hope it is the case for you. Maybe god knew that she wasn't the right fit for your baby and a replacement will grow better. I will pray really really hard for you tonight and may god deliver! If you need to talk, i'm here... hang in there sweetie!

Yes I know everything happens for a reason but come on. You have every right to have your feeling and i wish i could be there and hug you! I know its not just a money thing at this point BUT I would like your clinic to just do something! Are you thinking of maybe trying frozen? Is your 2nd choice available? Its such crushing news i'm so devastated for you!! @JamieH2000 *lurking* Not sure if you remember me, but I pop back in regularly to check in on you ladies. My heart is breaking for you. This whole ordeal is so unfair. I am firmly on the I hate that lady train. sending love and peace for you.
@srh18 and @joslynj11- your lurking means so much! Of course I remember you both and are so glad things are going good and you are both close to meetings your babies. Neither of you had an easy road at all, and not giving up paid off for both of you, so I will try to remember that in moments where I really really want to give up. Thanks again for checking in on all of us
@babyhopeful442- thanks girl I think you are right that there is a reason this didn't work and hopefully some day I will understand. I am just sooo tired of the ups and downs of this, and pray that soon I catch a break. I feel like its taking a permanent toll and i will never recover from the anxiety it has given me. I was a worrier before this, but now I am terrified of what can go wrong at every step in this. When so much bad has happened, how do I ever get hopeful again? I have said that before and bounced back.. but what will be the bad news that pushes me over the edge? Really praying that all my bad luck is MORE than enough for all of us ladies, and good news will come soon for all of you!
@hopeful_mom- you are so sweet, and right that we have been in this for the long haul together. I am honestly just so pissed and feeling so broken right now. Its like this news is making me grieve all over again on having to do donor. Its like if my body could have just done it on its own, I wouldn't be feeling like this right now. The donor director is calling me tomorrow and they said they would give me priority in matching with a new donor, but none of them compare to the first one. Its just so hard. I still don't think we will do frozen because I am just terrified of spending all that money for only 6-8 eggs. I think I would consider other clinics for fresh before I go the frozen route since I really hope to get enough embryos for 2 kids. Sometimes I really wonder if this is all worth it tho. Everyone says it is... but I am not sure I will ever get to that point.

@JamieH2000 I am utterly devastated for you lady. I have no words. This is completely unfair and you are so strong and amazing for handling this and everything else hay has been thrown at you with so much grace. I hear what you are saying about being a nrrvous person to start with and this is all so damaging. I am completely confident that you are going to come out on top and end up a mom, not just a mom but an amazing wonder woman mom who will raise a strong and amazing child. But I do recognize that this and every other roadblock is making this harder and harder. I can't remember if you are in therapy but I encourage you to start going if you are not because you deserve a safe space to be working through this. This is so unfair and devestating. I'm not one for praying but I do pray to my mom sometimes when things are really bad, and I'm having a serious talk with her tonight about what you have been through and I hope she will watch over you and send you strength. I hope it works for you as it has worked for me. I'm so sorry. Please know we are all here for you.

@lsatturo126- Thanks girl, I love Garth too I sure hope there is a bigger better plan out there for me and someday I'm thankful this happened. Its hard to imagine now, but I'm sure I will feel that way if this everrrr finally works.
@kp214- Thanks girl. Appreciate all the internet hugs and thoughts! I did my fair share of ranting/screaming yesterday (unfortunately the moms always get that- why am I doing this then again?! haha). Hope your new baby is home and thriving now!
@hopefuljj-thank you for so many kind, caring words! you ladies just understand like no one else does. And it was so thoughtful of you to ask your mom for strength for me. YOU are such a fighter too and I remind myself that if all you ladies keep fighting, then so can I.
Both my RE and the program director called today and that helped. My RE says the whole team is here for me, cheering for me, and that she won't give up until we get this to work. The program director took the list of donors we had come up with and gave us some stats and availability info, as well as a few suggestions. I just got to go through it with the DH tonight. I think we are really going to focus on proven donors, even if it means less of a physical match. They aren't going to look just like me anyways, so I would rather have higher odds at this point. I can't take any more heartbreak. I worked from home today and will again tomorrow. I still just cry randomly, but hoping I will be able to get off the couch by Monday and go back to work. I hardly slept last night, so its time to pull out the nyquil i guess.
How is everyone else doing in their cycles?!

@JamieH2000 this process really sucks!! does the original girl you wanted have any frozen? I know what you're saying BUT some seem to have some success right off the bat with just 2 even. I'm concerned now that you shouldn't be set up for more failure....its just so crazy!!
As you can see your so loved and adored by many on here I can imagine what the outside world has for you! Cry and cry some more, I have a headache from it myself, its not fair but I know this is not the end.
I'm glad you got a call today and things are moving along, its a bump in the road that has happened for whatever reason. Hoping you can get through the paper work with DH and something will just click and you're ready to go! You are so strong and will get through this too!

Hey ladies. Just tested 13 dpo and got a bfn. Ugh, it's cute I still get my hopes up. My RE said lots of people get pregnant after having an hsg and I felt leg cramps, headaches, and slept a lot. I was squinting so hard hoping for that miracle. I guess now I wait for AF. On the bright side, I'm excited to start my IUI this month and AF couldn't start fast enough! Come on Famera. Do your thang!

@hopeful_mom- haha I am not a huge hugger, but definitely appreciate them. Works actually help me more than hugs, so i guess I am made this internet world and why I like making friends online like you ladies. Our donor didn't have any frozen, so that wouldn't be an option. DH and I did find a few girls we would be open too that have had 2 or more successful cycles and that are available (not in another cycle). THe clinic will have to reach out to them to see their full availability and calendar, but I'm hoping we could maybe get going in the next month or two. We will have to redo all the legal stuff, but hopefully it will go faster the second time. Are you getting excited for your FET? monday right?! I am so excited for you

That is so sad about the other patient. Just shows that it can always be worse.. even when we think we are having the worst day ever. AFM, my clinic just called again and they were able to talk to the new donor today. They explained what happened to us and the new donor sounds very excited and committed. Assuming my RE signs off (which hoepfully she should given the last cycle results), we will have to pay a little more $$ and sign a new contract next week. THen we start the whole legal process again and trying to figure out the calendars. Just hoping everything goes smoother and faster this time... obviously haaha

Hello everyone, I've been lurking in this thread, but something caught my eye and I have to ask......someone said their AMH level fluctuates between 0.3 and 1.5.......my RE pretty much told me that she will only draw AMH one time and it will never change, but if she were to check it a year from now it will probably be even lower. I am 35 yrs old, have never had a pregnancy and AMH is 0.2. This just gave me a little glimpse of hope that maybe my number could go up? It's just crazy to me that it was so low!
@Hopeful_mom That's such a bummer! I'm so upset for you. Praying really hard your estrogen levels rises!!
@JamieH2000 I'm so happy to hear that they found you another donor! I hope the paper work go real fast for you and that her donation gets underway quickly. You deserve this so much. I'm rooting for you here!

@jenrn1216 Hi Jen, from what i understand. AMH technically can't go up but only down. AMH is a hormone secreted from primary follicles from the ovaries and measures how many eggs you have remaining. However, i've also read that a few things can raise your AMH levels from testimonials on the internet:
1. if you have vitamin D deficiency, it can mask your normal AMH level. So if you fix vitamin D levels, your AMH can go back up.
2. supplements such as DHEA, Royal Jelly, and CoQ10 for 3 months can raise your AMH level. This is from reading lots and lots of forums, it's just what i heard. I'm on CoQ10, vitamin B complex, Vitamin D and prenatal with DHA. I opted not to take DHEA since my hormone levels are within normal range and i didn't want to mess it up. Royal jelly was not recommended by my RE.
3. acupuncture
I looked up scientific studies to back up acupuncture to see if i should pursue it, there's only one study that does indicate it helped and it was in ivf patients. two other studies indicated it did the opposite.
Honestly, i was devastated when i found out that i had a low AMH, but it only takes 1 golden egg to get pregnant. So i would not focus so much on the number, but on ways to improve the quality of your eggs that are left. There's a couple of books that may benefit you to read: "it starts with the egg" and "making babies-a proven 3 months program for maximum fertility". I read all the sample pages for both books available on amazon and just ordered making babies. The other one has a lot of good information backed up by scientific research, but seems kind of repetitive. Good luck!

@jenrn1216- I second what @babyhopeful442 said above. I would also add that sometimes Antral Follicle Count can be more predictive in success than AMH. Have you had that done at your day 3 labs? AMH is just one piece of the puzzle. My AMH is actually not that low at 1.5, but yet I haven't been able to have success. My best advice is just to start treatment as soon as possible if that is an option.

Thanks for the support ladies, very appreciated!! I think my freak out is more if I'm missing My "receptive time" The fact that its medicated helps getting the ideal time which is the point. We have in our heads that our body just has the one moment it can become pregnant so its hard to forget that aspect. You get this calendar and look at it by law and if you deviate from it you then halt and get nervous. Its not like the calendar has extra boxes saying you can go 5 days later and that its ok too....I think thats why i'm so concerned over it. Everyone gets a date and pretty much stick to it...its the ladies that got a date and then it was delayed did they still have success. Its a tricky thing and knowing you have this one chance you don't want anything to jeopardize it.
Thinking that the extra few days could screw things up. It sounds like the progesterone days are the most important!! So I'm trying to relax! Lets hope my lining and E2 will cooperate on the next round. I'm also upset that i'm pretty sure my RE's LAST DAY if baby doesn't come early would've been friday which then means someone else will have to do my transfer. When you've been through so much its very hard to have someone that really doesn't know your struggle do a transfer. I feel like they wont be as invested and i'll be a nervous wreck!
@jenrn1216 welcome and sorry you find yourself here but I have to say @babyhopeful442 that hit the nail on the head with her above post! Does everything work? who knows but it can only help it and not hurt it! And JamieH2000 is correct as well...don't wait and go go go! Did your RE think you should try an IUI or go straight to IVF. Egg quality is important too, low AMH just means you really don't have much time left and the clock is ticking. AMH is a newer tests and hasn't been around for years...and many ladies in the past I'm sure had low amh and just didn't know it. theres still hope so hang in there.
@JamieH2000 any new updates on your end? You've had a whirlwind week for sure!!

@hopeful_mom- I know its impossible not to worry, but really what starts the implantation window is the progesterone starting. I think you clinic knows how precious your embryos are and wouldn't risk a transfer if things weren't perfect. I really hope everything comes together and gets where it needs to be! On the bright side, your lining is great, so I am sure your bloodwork will get there. Some girls get super high estrogen blood levels and can't get their lining to respond still, so I'm happy you aren't having that issue!! So many prayers for you, and just hang in there.
AFM, my new donor has been ok'd by my doctor, so now its just paying the $$ and getting the legal contract going. I'm hoping that I will have line of sight to a new calendar by end of week maybe.

@hopeful_mom I'm so sorry about your levels and the delay!! That just sucks! Seriously, no breaks over here. Ugh! I do think Jamie is right that your clinic will for sure not risk transfer if things aren't perfect. I guess delays never cease in this crazy journey:-/. The ultimate waiting game:( I totally hear you on wanting your doctor to do the transfer:( I hope the other doctor you mentioned knowing might be there instead for it at least.
@JamieH2000 I'm glad things are moving forward for you! I hope it doesn't cost too much extra money:(. And I sure Hope that new calendar is available to you SOON! Let's get this party started!
Me: Hashimoto Autoimune Disease Homozygous MTHFR Cr677 DOR - AMH .27 High FSH (don't even know how high) 2 iui's to start - BFN IVF 1 -3 made it do day 5! 2 5AA 1 6BB PGS results = all abnormal IVF 2 - stimmed for 19 days. insanity. Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty. Nothing made it to day 5 IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS
Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!! 1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.
FET#1 - Intralipid drips, Prednisone, and did a depot lupron shot before starting the FET protocol Chemical pregnancy FET#2 - PGS normal boy - BFN Natural pregnancy - cycle following the FET2???? Miscarriage at 8 weeks. viability scan had shown an enlarged yolk sac so I had been warned that it was likely not chromosonally normal
DEIVF cycle - picked a donor who is willing to be open! Her cycle resulted in in 4 PGS Normal embryos 1st transfer - chemical pregnancy 2nd transfer - success, May 17 2020 due date!
@babyhopeful442 I am sorry about the BFN:(. It's hard not to get your hopes up and you should! Because you will be disappointed with a BFN if you did or didn't get your hopes up. I am crossing my fingers and toes you will have luck with this Iui!

I agree on the royal Jelly. Some ladies have taken it and had problems too which we of course don't want. (I have seen ladies on message boards saying this frequently, messing up their cycles etc). I stopped taking it after reading "it starts with an egg".

hopefuljj hey girl where r u at now? whats going on with you?? I need to read this book...after the fact ha! I hate that i'm so backwards on everything!
@JamieH2000 ok lets keep the good news rolling in now! Why is this costing you more now?? Really hope everyone in the clinic and whoever else needs to be involved keeps pressing forward each day to get us back on track!!! Edit to also say - yes you are right I'm thrilled to have good lining I hear stories and I don't need that acting up on me at all!! Hoping it still is where it needs to be!
jenrn1216 excited that you will be getting started! And IUI does work for many why not you!! As fir your AFC your RE probably did it during your examination and maybe just didn't mention it. Technically you have a different AFC count at every cycle.
AFM:
***TW**** My RE is in labor go figure, we knew it was bound to happen so regardless of my delays she wouldn't have been able to do my transfer on friday anyway booooooo! Her water broke this morning and I'm laughing that I get a call at 8am from the nurses to let me know HAAAAAAA!!! AND this one nurse has no TACT at all. She basically says the DR forwarded the email I sent to her and am i now cancelling my FET. um why?? Because I said I don't want a new DR doing my transfer? Not sure why she doesn't realize I've been with this clinic so long I have had the other 2 REs at this point...they have brought on a new dr that I just dont want. Does that sounds horrible sure, she could be the best, I just don't feel like dealing with it. Is that the right decision who knows. Back to the clinic I go tomorrow...

@hopefuljj- thanks girl!! how have you been and where are you at?!
@hopeful_mom- The extra costs are since we pay our legal fees and the donor legal fees, which are now a waste obviously. It costs $500 for the donor, and my attorney is giving me a second contact at 50% (so $400), so the total lost $$ will be $900 (assuming my insurance lets me charge another lurpon through right away). I made the payments today, so I'm hoping they will reach out to me and the donor to get dates that we are available so we can build the calendar this week.
Aww that is frustrating about your RE!!! Really hoping one of the other 2 REs you know is on schedule when your transfer is. Luckily I think the transfers are pretty straight forward, so hopefully not something any of them could mess up!

@Hopeful_mom I so hope you get one of the doctors you already know! I totally hear you on not wanting to deal with the new doctor right now! @JamieH2000 I am soooo glad things are moving along again for you! This better be smooth sailing from here on out!! so since you both asked, I'm on day 8 Of stims. I've been quiet because I'm basically traumatized from all the fake out follicles with the immature eggs last time so I'm just doing my thing in the background. Estrogen is still low so that makes me feel like the same thing is happening. But trying to remain positive. I guess we won't know until retrieval. Kinda terrified. we are doing my protocol. Lol. I mean, I literally dictated the protocol when I had my last sit down with my RE so I must like torture because I'm still doing low dose as I have before but like way more shots because I did Cetrotide with my Estrogen priming for 7 days and then added omnitrope in with my follistim and menopur which I'm now finishing day 8 of. I've also been throwing the rest of my money at accupuncrure 2 times a week. I'll likely stim for 14 days like my first cycle. Back in on Thursday, soooo hoping my E2 goes up. Good grief.

JamieH2000 ugh that is soooo frustrating! It should be like buy one get one free or something! Hoping the Lupron is at least covered. Its amazing this process. I should be working on my book and we need a whole chapter dedicated to donor dos and donts!
hopefuljj awww lady you're going through stemming in the shadows booooo i like to be your cheerleader and be in the know. I have to fit everyone into my prayers correctly! And you can PM me anytime. Good grief of what you're putting yourself through! So what do you call this fancy protocol of yours? We have to try and see what works...its so tough indeed!!! Praying your E2 rises along with mine I have to get myself back to acupuncture...you just dont knwo what the right things are but you'll try it all. We know I'm not such a fan of acupuncture AND I was so hoing to get a normie out of this last cycle of IVF so I could really say that the one cycle I didn't do acupuncture I didn't get a normie and that was the deciding factor...so i'm uber annoyed that didn't work either ugh!! Really hoping the sessions are relaxing you and make some super golden eggs for you!!!

@hopefuljj- I get not wanting to talk about a cycle after two dissapointing cycles, but know that we are all here for you! Any chance you could still up your stims? I am probably biased based on my experience, but for me, I really didn't respond good until I was on 450 of follistim and 150 of menopur for the whole cycle. Lots of prayers that your estrogen rises!!
@hopeful_mom- better get writing that book How is your estorgen looking?!!!!

Re: Low AMH Level

FX for good baseline tomorrow!

@babyhopeful442- thanks girl
Everyone says it is... but I am not sure I will ever get to that point.

jamie I don't really have any words as I'm in total shock myself. My heart bleeds for you and I wish I could just hug you right now. BUT I'm going to have to agree with @babyhopeful442. God has other plans. Being a Brooklyn girl not a lot of us love country but I definitely do and if you can listen to Garth Brooks "Unanswered Prayers" it might just make you feel a little better.
Hope you don't give up. I had a long journey too and as much as it sucked I wouldn't have it any other way. Xoxo
Married my best friend in 2013 (I was 33), After 1.5yrs of TTC got my first BFP naturally on 2/7/15 but ended in DNC on 4/14/15, not viable. IVF 1 -3 made it do day 5! 2 5AA 1 6BB PGS results = all abnormal
IVF 2 - stimmed for 19 days. insanity. Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty. Nothing made it to day 5
IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval
IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS
Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!! 1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.
FET#1 - Intralipid drips, Prednisone, and did a depot lupron shot before starting the FET protocol
Chemical pregnancy
FET#2 - PGS normal boy - BFN
Natural pregnancy - cycle following the FET2???? Miscarriage at 8 weeks. viability scan had shown an enlarged yolk sac so I had been warned that it was likely not chromosonally normal
DEIVF cycle - picked a donor who is willing to be open! Her cycle resulted in in 4 PGS Normal embryos
1st transfer - chemical pregnancy
2nd transfer - success, May 17 2020 due date!

You've been on my mind alot and I was sharing with my tech just this crazy process but she seemed like something was off. A patient of theres 38yr old that they just discharged at 10wks finally had a heart attack and passed away. I was sick after she told me. We never know what tomorrow brings and I hate that we spend so many days crying over all this.
I used to try not to be such a crier but this whole process has certainly changed all that!! And I totlly pegged u for a hugger

Frustrated doesn't even begin my feelings right now!! So they're changing my protocol to still taking 3mg of estrace but 1 vaginally at night UGH seriously, i'm so not a fan of that, but whatever! This now pushes me till at least next week as I first go back wed for monitoring! I'm so angry! My lining is fine but who knows if its going to happen this month or not....
I hate this roller coaster ride, I really was expecting to get the go ahead!

1. if you have vitamin D deficiency, it can mask your normal AMH level.
Good luck!

Back for # 2!

@JamieH2000 I have not had AFC tested. RE wants to do 3 cycles of clomid/IUI and then discuss IVF if no success with that.
I'm scared to start treatment, but also excited. So many mixed emotions! But, I'm so glad I found this community, it has been really helpful!
@JamieH2000 I'm glad things are moving forward for you! I hope it doesn't cost too much extra money:(. And I sure Hope that new calendar is available to you SOON! Let's get this party started!
Homozygous MTHFR Cr677
DOR - AMH .27 High FSH (don't even know how high)
2 iui's to start - BFN

Back for # 2!
so since you both asked, I'm on day 8 Of stims.
Good grief.
