I'm copying this from the March board (thanks @antoto!). This is a place to alert fellow moms-to-be about sales or coupons on baby or maternity items.

YES I saw this too! I am on the internet all day long so I am always looking out. Nordstrom is having their Anniversary sale right now, lots of baby clothes and gear (and also NBR stuff ). Macys has a bunch of maternity clothes on sale right now as well.
@mamaof5already make sure to check albeebaby also! I know TRU has that sale, but I've found several items over the years at albeebaby for lower prices (especially if you find one on clearance or they're discontinuing) plus you can use the 20% off coupons from Bed Bath & Beyond!
Can anyone recommend a store that sells cheap maternity activewear? I've checked out Motherhood Maternity and find them to be a bit pricy. The Ross near me has a shotty selection.
Check Old Navy! You may be able to find some stuff one sale in the regular section that may grow if you buy a bigger size. I also have some bcg brand workout pants from Academy that I bought before I was pregnant that seem to be fitting just fine for now bc of the type of waistband. I'd try regular section before maternity bc of how much they jack up the price!
I just got a text this morning that Target has some of their current maternity clothes on sale. Apparently they are making room for their new maternity brands!
Target has Honest Company diapers on sale. They are trying to make room for the new prints and they were $18.18 when I was there last night and now if you buy $75 worth of baby stuff you get a $15 gift card!!
Motherhood is having 30% off site-wide, including sale, and the sale stuff includes a lot of winter items. Size selection is kinda crappy.

Carter's have extended their Labor Day sale today! 50% off online and in store, and an extra 25% off your purchase over $40. There's also 40% off clearance. I bought a ton of baby clothes this weekend!
I've been looking for good deals on the Chicco keyfit 30. Best Ive found is through Bed bath and beyond or buy buy baby (same co) for $199 and using 20% off coupon. Just a heads up for anyone wanting that style carseat. If you find a better deal, please let me know!
What's so great about the Chicco key fit? I see that it is one of the best sellers in the States but here in Canada I don't see them very often. What it's the draw of them? There just seems to be way better options out there is a similar price point

Thank you @Starynightsky24!! @sabriel1 I read reviews and I've owned graco and Evenflo ones previously that I liked, but didn't love. They each had things that made me hate them, either the latch or how you tightened them. I found by far the best reviews on the Chicco keyfit so I went and looked at it in store and I liked it. The tightener seemed so smooth to me. I've had some that I felt like I had to pull with all my strength to get them to tighten and this was was just easy and pulled super simple, same with releasing it. If you're looking, just read a few reviews and then go look in store so you can compare them all!
@mpp06 thanks. I just couldn't understand why it was so popular there. My main concern is with the weight of the seat itself so for me it was always between the lighter carriers like the Graco or the Maxi Cosi. I've got a Graco and like it. I used to have a cheap baby trend which worked well enough but it was so heavy ugh.

@sabriel1 - not sure if you have consumer reports in Canada. Here in the states it's a great resource for items. Anyways the Chicco Key Fit was rated #1 a few years back when I got mine - so I'm sure it's still highly rated.
I haven't picked one up...I may need to go do that. Lol! My only girl (other than this one) was super light but all my boys have been SO heavy. I'm hoping this sweet girl takes after her sister and we have a slightly lighter load for awhile. @msunshine123 have you enjoyed yours?
We've used the Chicco KeyFit 30 for my previous 2 babies and will again for this one. I bought it in 2014 due to the outstanding safety reviews. My one gripe about it is the canopy doesn't extend very far. Maybe the newer models since 2014 have updated this, though. Otherwise we like it a lot!

We put the Chico Bravo travel system which includes the Key Fit 30 on our registry. We played with it in the store. The canopy on it seemed good. When it is in the stroller the 2 canopies combine and give you total coverage. I was worried about airflow but the back portion is webbed for airflow if you have a total canopy.
Has anyone mentioned Target is having a car seat trade in right now? It's going till the 23rd and you get a 20% off coupon for a car seat. I called and checked, and extra bases don't get you extra coupons but you can still take them to be recycled.
If you're looking at the Chico KeyFit travel system, BuyBuyBaby has the "Iceland" color on sale - a really pretty light blue! Normally $380 for the car seat, base and stroller; currently $285.

Same at Bed Bath and Beyond. I wonder if those 20% coupons work on it?
It should! You can also use your Bed Bath coupons directly at Buy Buy, they are owned by the same company. I have never had a 20% off coupon rejected (at least not in-store), even when using it on a brand that was specifically excluded on the coupon.
Target has a couple of good deals going on right now to get gift cards.
1. Spend $75 on baby essentials (diapers, wipes, bottles, diaper creams, shampoos/lotions etc) and get a $20 gift card
--I bought up and up diapers size 1 and 2, baby wash, and 2 bottles (each of my boys liked a different bottle) All items we needed.
2. Spend $40 on clothing/essentials for the family and get a $10 gift card.
--I bought two nursing bras and a nursing tank using this deal.
We are registered at Target and I'm going to combine my 15% off completion coupon with the $30 I just received in gift cards or use the gift cards for Christmas during black Friday sales.
Amazon is having a countdown to Black Friday sale ongoing until Black Friday, new flash sales all the time. They have a variety of baby products on there now, from crib sets to pacifiers to diaper bags.
