ladies I need prayers right now. I started bleeding and I'm freaking out that this could be over for me. Everything was so good at my US a few days ago and I was so relieved. Now I'm just so scared. This will be loss #2 for me.

@MrsMassimilla FX that everything's okay! Try to remember that bleeding can be normal or caused by something that isn't so serious. Do you have a call into your doctor?

Yes but I work in the city and have to take a train home so I won't be able to talk to them for at least an hour. The cramps are starting and this is all too familiar

Praying for you that this is just a little cramping and bleeding. I'm sure it must be scary, since you've been through it before. I know many of us PGAL's are super paranoid. Try to stay as calm as possible, taking deep breaths and remember that it and frankly all of it is just plain out of our hands. I'm praying you and your baby are fine, especially after a good ultrasound.

Praying for you! Hope everything is ok. I spotted 3 weeks ago and started to really worry. I had at least 3 girlfriends plus women on here tell me they had spotting and everything was ok. Dr said 1/3 of women spot and it's normal. Hugs and prayers sent your way!

FX you can talk to your doc quickly! Ditto to what everyone has said, bleeding does not automatically equal a miscarriage.

Thank you so much ladies. Your encouragement and words mean so much. The nurse called me and said right now she's not concerned ( easy for her to say right). I'm still dying inside worrying if this is over.

I had spotting last weekend and was so worried too. I got the same response from my nurse. My appt isn't until the 12th. It seems to be taking forever.

Hopefully it is just post appt spotting and not serious. Praying for you that all is okay and that you get some peace of mind. Try to take it easy tonight if possible!

*lurking from March* Sorry to hear about the bleeding. TW I've had 3 huge bleeds this pregnancy, and each time it's been a subchorionic hemorrhage. So I keep remaining hopeful. Hopefully it is absolutely nothing in your case!

@MrsMassimilla the nurse told me that bleeding can happen up to three days after a vaginal ultrasound. I have had some bleeding and each time it terrified me. Fx that this is nothing. What color is your bleeding?

@MrsMassimilla I'm so sorry that you are going through this. Are they going to let you come in for a quick u/s check or at least monitor your betas since you are bleeding and cramping? I hope the nurse wouldn't just say that she wasn't concerned and then leave you out to dry. You should be able to get some answers! I hope that you do soon and that it's nothing. FWIW, my last pregnancy did end in mc, but when I was pregnant with DD before that I had lots of bleeding and cramping. They never found the cause of it and she ended up being fine. FX it's just a fluke for you and everything ends up being ok. Keep us posted! Hugs

I just had my eight week appointment today and the doctor's told me to expect some implantation spotting and with baby growing and placenta that it's hard on my uterus. FX that's what it is.

The nurse didn't mention anything about coning in or getting blood work yet. My next appointment is in 2 weeks and I'll be away on vacation in Maine next week. I'm hoping this doesn't affect the vacation and that it was just some bleeding after the ultrasound. My next appointment is for a Pap smear so now I'm freaking out that that will definitely cause bleeding. It seems like the bleeding stopped last night so we will see how today goes. Thank you all so much.

It was pretty consistent for a few hours and then I guess stopped while I was asleep. @linds0503 The bleeding was red when it started and turned a dull red over the next few hours.

I'm so sorry @MrsMassimilla I had cramps and bleeding at 6 weeks that felt exactly like a period but everything was okay. I know how scary it can be to go through that!! Sending you lots of love.

Not that it will give you peace of mind since I am in no way a doctor, but I believe it is a good sign that the color turned dull red. Sounds super similar to what my doc told me I could experience after my vag ultrasound and full exam. Try to stay positive and enjoy your vacation!
