Hi all! Totally new here (and lost by all of the acronyms - trying to figure it all out). I'm pregnant for the first time (yay!) and my estimated due date is May 3rd. Looking forward to getting advice and learning from other's experiences because I'm so excited/nervous/scared. I feel like I'm INTENSELY paying attention to everything going on with my body because I, annoyingly, love self diagnosing lol.
@TeacherMom2015 Welcome! Are you using an emoji from your phone? TB cuts off your post if you do! It only likes the preset ones it has above the reply box.
Hi ladies! So I was not planning on being here for another round, but life has its own ideas! This morning I got a squinter, but a definite line, on an FRER, at 9dpo (days past "oops" in our case). DH and I had planned to be done with two kiddos, especially after nearly two years of secondary IF with DD2, but here I am! And absolutely thrilled, but hopefully I get a pass from the HG this time (I had it with both girls).
Our EDD is May 14. DD1 will be 6 in November and DD2 will be 1 in October
Wow so many people here already, hi everyone! Got my positive this morning, not expecting a positive at all, feeling very overwhelmed. We had a loss early last year and this was not in the plan. It feels like it's all a dream! I haven't told Fi yet, we're going on holiday next week so I'm gonna tell him then but I'm really unsure how he'll react to this news. EDD is 5th May, feel like I need to take 10 more tests to see if it's actually happening haha!
Hello all: I'm a newbie on this app and a newbie-mom-to-be, so forgive me if I'm not using the lingo correctly. Husband and I are pregnant with our first, will be 5 weeks tomorrow calculated from LMP, which puts my EDD at May 3rd, a day after my 33rd birthday! My first doc apt is this Saturday and hopefully I'll get a quick referral to an OB so I can see the little bean soon! Can't wait to make sure all is fine so we can announce!

@ccvslp keep testing but I got a super faint line on a FRER on 8 DPO, like I literally thought I was hallucinating because I could only see it at just the right angle with the flashlight from my phone. I'm only 10 DPO now but I have turned several brands positive (clearly) since then. (And yet I keep peeing on sticks? I guess I just can't help myself)
@bjkay22 LOL... DH is now addicted to me peeing on things as well, so I took another FRER this morning and the line had definitely become a bit darker. Thinking/hoping to see the same tomorrow (three in the box so what the hey, right?! Lol)
Hello! I got my BFP August 25th which was a day after AF was expected. EDD of May 3rd. I have two girls (5 & 7) so we are hoping for a boy, but will be overjoyed with a girl too. I'm a nurse and I'm also currently in school. I'm 27 and excited to have at least one more baby to love on! So far just some minor cramping, nausea, fatigue, and extremely sore breasts. Along with everyone else here I'm just hoping for a smooth pregnancy.
And Knottie if you change your username it will be easier to tag and remember you! Sometimes you have to log out and log back in afterward for it to take effect.
Hi everyone. I'm in BC Canada and I'm due with my second on May 4. I'm still nursing and definitely feeling a lot of second time mom guilt. Looking forward to chatting with you all
Hey y'all! Excited to be here! I am a TTM with two amazing little girls (4 and 5). Tried for a while and was getting tired of peeing on stark white tests... but had a super-faint-squinty-but-definitely-pink line this morning! DH could see it and that's my threshold for real . I was on the Oct 2011 BMB but wasn't very active on the July 13 board. Looking forward to getting to know y'all.
I tested super faintly positive on Tuesday morning and it is gotten progressively darker each day (as I obsessively test...) -- so I am thinking this must be the real deal! EDD - May 12th. I have an almost 16 month old daughter born in May of 2016 and I stay at home with her. Looking forward to having a community to go through this with -- I am sure it will be a little different than my first pregnancy!

I'm the opposite of you. I have two boys and am really hoping for a girl as this is our last. I'll be happy either way but would love to have a daughter.
Hello May 18! Found out I am pregnant last weekend and have been processing it ever since. My DD was born May 2016 and I'm unsure exactly how far along I am. I weaned from BFing in June and have had 1 PP period and it's been wonky since.
Funny story... my sister is also in this BMB and we are thinking we are due within days of each other - hey girl hey
I am very excited to be here. It stokes the pregnancy fever to share this special news with all you ladies. Had a squinter yesterday, then a faint line this morning. A few days ago, I had the faintest pink spot just like my last successful pregnancy, and my asthma is getting worse, just as it has for each of my five pregnancies. I have had one live birth, my 9MODD. It took us two years to conceive her after losing twins, so I thought we would have to use ovulation triggering again in order to get pregnant this time - but every time I have ovulated since I gave birth (two times, now) I got pregnant! After losing one at six months PP, we couldn't wait to start trying again. I guess pregnancy can iron out some hormonal issues sometimes! I would be delighted if my daughter had a sibling that was close to her age. My due date is May 11th, six days before my anniversary. It would be the best gift ever to be able to try to succeed at breastfeeding this time! Also, my daughter is very large for her age, so I'm really looking forward to having a tiny baby to savor again. Hopefully we'll be done after this! I'm 36, so I'm a little late to this energetic game!
Hello ladies! FTM here. EDD is 4/29 but felt overwhelmed on the April boards! Hope you don't mind me joining! I'm 29 and a Kindergarten teacher. I'm so excited but won't let myself get too happy until I get that first US. Thanks for all the amazing advice!
Hello! I got my BFP last night! According to dr. google, I'm due may 12th I had my mirena removed in June so I'm happy with how quickly this happened. I'm still extremely early on so I'm just going to be optimistic but also realistic at this point.
I'm a SAHM of a 3.5 year old little boy. I was a part of the March 2014 bump group so I figured it made sense to come back for this one. I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you. I'm closer to the people in my M14 bump group then most people I know in real life haha.
Hi everyone! I also got my BFP last night, and got it confirmed by blood test this morning. It still doesn't quite feel real, but at the same time I have felt so pregnant this week I was almost sure it was going to be positive. I am 34, from Nova Scotia, am a first time mom, and have been TTC for 2 years now. This pregnancy is thanks to the magic that is IVF!
My due date is May 8. I am so excited to finally be able to say something like that
Hi everyone! My name is Ashley, I am 29 from PA and I am expecting my 3rd child EDD 5/4/18. We were debating having one more and tried one time and as fate would have it got pregnant. I tested on 8/26 and got a quick, dark positive. I have a DS who is 4 and a DD who is 2. Looking forward be to getting to know everyone!
Re: *Introductions*
@sourapple1784 congrats!! do you live far away from your family and friends? I can't imagine being able to hide the entire pregnancy from them.
