  • @kbamomma33 I'm doing good.  I'm constantly nauseated which doesn't feel great but it could be worse so I'm thankful for that.  I seriously can't get enough of Wendy's chicken nuggets.  It's like the only food that agrees with my stomach.  We've started to tell family.  Just not feeling good and being bloated has made it a little hard to hide so we are slowing telling close family and that is it.  I doubt we will make a facebook announcement.

  • @mispanda I feel you on the bloat, girl! I may not be in maternity clothes yet but these normal pants are getting tiiiight  :/ then I wake up in the morning looking totally normal, wth
  • @cards10 my bloat is 10x worse in the evening.  Once I wake up I can tell it's not as bad but throughout the day it begins to grow.
  • @fishsticks-n-custard It must be such a relief to be home with your family and sleeping in your own bed! Glad to hear you're safe :)

  • @fishsticks-n-custard  happy to hear your safe and with your family again!!
  • @kbamomma33 FX for good numbers! When will you find out?
@mispanda @cards10 Yes, the ever expanding bloat! I look almost normal in the morning, but gigantic by the evening. I'm having a hard time finding clothes that disguise it.
    --------
As for my check in: We had a good U/S yesterday, and so my PGAL brain is finally taking a back seat, at least for a while. Now that we know everything is ok, MH is suddenly able to be excited....I can see now how much the losses affected him. We've talked more about 'bebe' in the past 16 hours than the last 8 weeks combined. It's really sweet, and a relief, because I hadn't been sure exactly how he was feeling.

We're also talking about/getting ready to tell people about it, which is simultaneously exciting and scary. I thought I was ready, but now I want to keep it as our secret for just a little longer. Probably we'll start telling next week/end. The challenge for us is that we live in a really (really) small town, where rumors travel faster than the speed of light, so if we want to be able to tell people we care about in person, we have to carefully orchestrate it. It doesn't help that I don't necessarily trust our moms (esp my mom) to keep a secret for long.

Otherwise, things are going well. Physically I am feeling much better, which makes more sense now that I know I'm measuring way ahead. I can eat again! On the upside, it looks like I lost 7 lbs, which is great because I'm overweight to start with, and had gained some weight right before I got KU. I am also hoping to start working out again. The first week of school went well, although I am finding it a little hard to concentrate on work, with so much else going on.

  • @fishsticks-n-custard So happy to hear you made it out of the hospital! Also glad to know the water is going down a bit. We were able to get out very briefly yesterday but almost everything was still closed. We are doing well though and have everything we need! Get caught up on that sleep and enjoy some time with your family.
  • @mispanda I feel you. Most veggies are not my friend right now. All I want are carbs or cheesy anything or cheesy carbs lol. I have serious guilt about not eating right but I am also doing the best I can. I normally love brussel sprouts and was barely able to choke down 4 bites the other night ugh

I feel the same about this board. I want it to be a better place and I know it will happen by leading by example but I also don't have the same kind of energy to do it.
  • @hedgepig yay for the u/s relaxing your PGAL brain and also YH's PGAL brain! Glad he is opening up and being more excited now :) Definitely don't rush into telling people if you don't want to. I think it makes it feel more real to say those words to someone else though so when you are ready, it will feel so good to tell someone you really trust won't spill the beans. And congrats on losing a few ell-bees ;) tons of good news for you today!!
  • @stalkinghorse I personally have no issue with you posting here! Towards the end of my time on TTGP, I was posting only in the IF thread so I am also getting to know most of these ladies as well.

I took a bump break at the end of June because I was going on vacation for two weeks. Not to mention I was also becoming really emotionally overwhelmed by TTC. Then when I got back from vacation I was really busy at work and didn't have the time to jump back on TTGP. So once I got my BFP in Aug I just came straight over to April. My point in all of this is that I think your more then welcome to join us here.  :) That's also why you may not recognize me.
  • @kmalls I hope you feel better soon!  I understand the bump break.  I try to just catch up in the mornings and evenings but I am browsing throughout the day.  DD hasn't said anything to me but if she did I would do the exact same thing as you  <3
  • you guys are the best! Thank you!  <3
