@justsuzie Good luck! At this point everything you can do is already done, so try your best to relax. Awful cliche and not helpful at all, but wouldn't it be nice.
Got my first appointment finally scheduled for the 19th, just a pee test confirmation and meeting with the nurse to discuss overarching details of the pg. Oddly enough, 3 hours after I called I got a push from the patient portal letting me know that my first appointment with the OB and first ultrasound were scheduled for me, on Oct 30th! Are you joking me? I see the nurse at 7 1/2 weeks, and then I don't get my dating ultrasound and first chance to talk to my doctor until 13 1/2 weeks? That's certainly changed in the 2 years since my first pregnancy.

Since we're using a midwife this time around I'm imagining not having an appointment set up until after the eight weeks mark. I've already contacted them though, and am waiting to hear back to establish them as my care provider.
I actually have my annual with my OBGYN scheduled for 9/27, so that worked out nicely since it was already booked. Will be 8w3d. I have an appt with my primary care today (also previously scheduled) so hoping she will have betas done today.
@yesthisiskim0401 that makes me feel much better. Was getting all BFN wondfos so I caved and bought two FRER yesterday. Both have been positive, not super dark but positive. This mornings wondfos had the faintest line ever, could barely see it. It's making me freak out because I am 16DPO and don't understand why I can't turn the wondfos to a clear +
@kpc914 I didn't get a dark line on a Wondfo until almost 18DPO, but I got a blazing line on a FRER at 15 DPO. Wondfos take a long time to get a dark line.
Trapped in a box here, oh well! @kpc914 My wondfos were SUPER light. Made me paranoid I was seeing things, I also had a light FRER two days ago so I am going to get a few of those this afternoon because I want to see those darken. And I'll keep peeing on Wondfos because my OBGYN will do 8 week scan and see me on 9/28. They don't want me to come in for blood work now, which has me a little freaked out. Like I just want the bloodwork to confirm that I'm not crazy and that I'm really pregnant. But I have no history of losses and other than being overweight and having endometriosis, I have no health issues. I hope everything is ok
@justsuzie thinking of you! I get very anxious too and I hope you get good news on Thursday. I wish there was a magic cure to poof away stress, but it sounds like you have a great doctor looking out for you.
I had to stop POAS. Yesterday morning my FRER line was lighter than it had been the day before, so of course I freaked out. I had to go buy more. When I used those they were the darkest they had been yet. I decided for my sanity to stop and I threw all the used ones away. DH was so happy. He calls them "my science experiments" and thinks they make me crazy. Shrug.
I just took a walmart cheapie, FRER and digital and they were all blazingly positive so Wondfos can suck it. Today's was still barely there. I was planning on continuing to take the Wondfos till I was out but I think nevermind on that because it's going to cause me more anxiety.
At primary care. She's super cool about it. She didnt even bother with urine test and asked me if i would like blood test.... yes please! Waiting to get blood drawn now.
I'm probably in the minority, but I got a BFP on Wondfo and the lightest, barely there, squint-one-eye-and-close-the-other on a FRER, and a positive CB digital all in the same day. I guess every body is different!
@mrsbacz I was about to say, it's freaking me out for what my body must be doing that I got a Wondfo test line today at 17 DPO that was as dark as the control when no one else seems to be getting positives.
Wondfo was actually my first positive test last Monday at 9 days, but it was so light I thought it might have been a fast evap. It was also the middle of the afternoon, but I wanted sinus meds bad

I think you can sometimes get a bad batch of wondfos. I got a positive at 8dpo on a wondfo this time around on one wondfo and the next day it wasn't there. I don't alway trust them.
I had so many evaps on wondfos which all showed up within time frame and looked like a very faint positive before. I literally only kept buying them for the cheapness.
I'm using a midwife this time and have a couple of consults in a couple of weeks but I've already been told that they don't start seeing you as a patient until week 12 or so. So with that, my first appt. probably won't be until end of October
Thanks ladies for all the well wishes. Looks like I already have pg brain because I posted twice about my apt. Oops!
@silverhope the cure is usually a shot of tequila but yah, can't do that anymore. I actually have therapy after my US so at least I have a net to catch me if it's not good news.
Originally scheduled for the 21st, but in light of a new diagnosis on DS, we got bumped up to get to MFM sooner. So I'll do an ultrasound next Thirsdsay, meet with the OB, and then off we go...
not exaclty the stress free pregnancy we were hoping to have.
I have the nurse/lab work visit 9/8 and meet my OB on 9/18. It's so hard to wait but at least I get things started next week (even if it is mostly paperwork)!
I went to the doctor for the first time yesterday because I have had an ectopic and miscarriage in the last year. I also had labs drawn, and I'm waiting for the doctor to call me and let me know the results. I will probably have an ultrasound in 1-2 weeks.
I'm so nervous that something is going to be wrong again, so I feel your pain, @justsuzie. I'll be thinking of you!
First appointment is September 19th I'll be 7w5d. They typically don't see you until 8-10 weeks at this office, but it's all that worked between our schedules so we are squeezing in a couple days early. Hoping for an ultrasound, but that's at the doctors discretion. Super excited to get past the first trimester and into the fun stuff!
@Jenbry424 Yes come join us on the PGAL thread. I have a pretty similar history as you and I know how nervous the first 2 weeks are with betas and early US. Just try to visualize baby in the right spot. I actually do guided meditation everyday visualizing the baby safely in the uterus. I'll be thinking of you. Let us know how your betas turn out and try not to think the worst.
I had my first appointment today because I am "high risk" for ectopic. WOOT WOOT Gestational sac with yolk sac safely implanted in the uterus. First small victory.
