CS/Q: EWCM today? Whatchu tryna do body? My chart is not very pretty. My cycles have progressively had a higher and higher cover line. Has anyone else had that happen?
GTKY: What was your favorite TV show as a kid? Bonus for GIFs. The one that is sticking out to me is Clarissa Explains it All.
R/R: DH has to work late tonight and then tomorrow night is his fantasy football draft which he does with like everyone on Skype and three computers open. Bugs the isht out of me. But I usually go grocery shopping for the week on Tuesday's and it just doesn't make sense to if I'm not getting stuff to make dinner for the next two nights (if he's not eating I like to make stuff he doesn't like but I do, like mac and cheese ) so womp. Messing with my schedules.
CS/Q: I've been debating swapping from ED to EOD, but DH wants to stick with ED. He thinks we should do it as much as he can, and truthfully he doesn't struggle to do it ED. My only concern is that for the past 9 months he's been extreeeeeeemely stressed from work and I wonder if that could be affecting his count without affecting his performance. I think I'm going to make an acupuncture appointment for him because even if it's not affecting his sperm, he needs to get his stress under control.
GTKY: What was your favorite TV show as a kid? Bonus for GIFs.
@MrsMiller8588 Sorry you're sick! @marcus7676 The sausages were great! Our local market makes really interesting combinations, and this was the first time we'd tried the fig & shallot. Definitely one we'll get again! @zamora_spin Have you changed the time you temp? That could potentially affect your temps and coverline. @doxiemoxie212 I don't remember ever watching The Popples, but I do remember the toys! Those were so awesome.
@lalala2004. Happy birthday! @darkstar42. I now have that theme song stuck in my head! Fx for O today. @offtoneverland. What's for lunch?! @izza2 I emailed my doctor this morning regarding labs. Month/cycle: 3/3 CD: 18 R/R: I can't find my debit card and I'm freaking out about it. My drive to work was gorgeous this morning, so that was nice. I still need to brush my hair and put on make-up, though . CS/Q: OPKs are positive u,til the second line is as dark ir darker than the control. Does anyone still have a 2nd line, though, most of the time? Darker than a squinter line, but lighter than positive. GTKY: So many and I'm too lazy to GIF right now. Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Rainbow Bright, CatDog, Little Bits, Strawberry Shortcake, Full House, Home Improvement, Reading Rainbow....
@darkstar42 Great thought and kind of yes, but if anything I have trended earlier which I would have thought would drive the average down and not up. I used to wake up pretty consistently between 6:30 - 7 am, lately I sometimes wake up earlier and just go ahead and temp at that time. This am was a 6:20 am temp. I have two in a row taken at exactly 6:50 am and they are 97.12 and 97.68. You'll see a lot of open circles on my chart but they are mostly earlier temps rather than later. @jrm_14 Maybe, but only if I get a lot done which... woops I've been bumping. I don't have specific hours at my job but have to work a certain amount overall.
@zamora_spin mine have been lower and lower. Do you have cysts that you know of by chance? I feel like I read at some point in the chart stalk thread that that can affect temps.
@doxiemoxie212 I sure do have cysts! Or at least I believe I do based on a history of them in my early teen years. I was pretty sure I developed some/one Cycle 3 which carried into Cycle 4 and I thought it might be affecting my temps, but this cycle I have not *felt* them so idk. This is a good possible explanation if they have somehow been building up (even if I am not feeling them) over all this time off bc - I have been on bc so much of my adult life and bc of course controls cysts. You are so smart. Will be one of my questions for the RE for sure.
Off camping, but wanted to do a quick check in and say to love to all you ladies. Happy birthday @lalala2004 I will catch up with you all when we get back on Thursday sometime.
@dukestar5 I like acupuncture. I had always kind of wanted to try it. I am not being treated for anything in particular, my cycles are pretty regular, but acupuncture *can* help some women to ovulate if they are an-O and can improve regularity. The studies on acupuncture and fertility are kind of a mixed bag but it's something that can't hurt if you go to a good, licensed professional. In traditional Chinese medicine the kidneys have a large role in reproduction, so my acupuncturist sometimes works on my kidney health. The biggest benefit to me has been I feel more relaxed immediately afterwards and there is a sense of well-being that generally lasts for at least several days. I go every other week generally but for the next month or so it might be more like every three weeks because of travel. eta I have been going for about two months and have my fourth visit this Friday.

@catlady1215. I'm sorry the appointment was disappointing. If you don't mind me asking, what did your doctor do at the consult? Did they ask you lots of question, take blood work? Did they give you next steps?
@dukestar5 basically just asked my family history. didn't even ask DHs. went over our ttc journey and findings. went through a list of reasons why my losses could have happened... then said why he didn't think that was the case. no kind of blood work. no testing. couple recommendations for my endocrinologist.. which are common sense things that she's already on top of anyway.

It's crazy hot where I live and all I want to do is wear my sweaters and boots. @doxiemoxie212It's a good idea to make an appointment for your DH. @lalala2004 Happy Birthday! and congrats on the birthday HIO! My birthday is in a couple weeks and I not so subtlety sent DH a bunch of links from a recent Kate Spade sale. @krashke, RRL is red raspberry leaf tea. It's supposed to help but it doesn't really taste like anything, so it's not my favorite. But for Cycle 10 I'm trying all the things!
Thanks to all who asked about my kitty. He's gotten super skinny thanks to tummy problems, but we've got him on a new medication that seems to be helping a lot. This was the follow up appointment and the vet confirmed that he's gaining weight back at a good rate!
@Augusta108 Glad to hear your kitty is okay! He looks super comfy in that picture! @blackhottamales Same here! No motivation to do a dang thing right now! @Stargazer1lily FX for you. Maybe they'll get someone to review it. @krashke Woot, woot for getting done early!! @ChloandCoco I agree with you on temping, I swear that stresses me out even more. @catlady1215 I am very sorry that your appointment did go well. @dukestar5 Yay for getting your hair done, I need to get mine done soon as well. @jrm_14 I loved Sabrina!! My sister named her cat Salem!
@jrm_14 I am the same as @doxiemoxie212. I seem to have dark lines, but not as dark as the control; and whenever i do get a positive, it is actually darker than the control (using Wondfos). When I start to not be able to tell if positive or not, I switch to digital CB OPKs with the smiley face. Usually get a couple negatives and then a positive. After the positive with the digital, I usually stop using OPKs (maybe a Wondfo here or there to see if the line is lighter because I'm addicted to POAS)
@lalala2004 - After being woken up for a third time just to hear him talk about cheesecake, I did finally tell him that unless he was going to make me some, or buy me some, I wasn't interested anymore. The worst part is that if I asked him what his ideal cheesecake would be for like his birthday or something - he'd have no recollection of the hour long debate with himself over how best to make/layer cheesecake... *sigh* @zamora_spin - Nope, 100% awake. His sleep-talking conversations usually involve three or four responses to my questions and then he's back to snoring, lol. @jrm_14 - GL! I don't think you're being pushy at all, and honestly, she shouldn't either. You're being an advocate for your own health and wellness. Remember that your doctor works for you, not the other way around. It's okay to be pushy about something you're fairly confident in. A lot of times, it's the reason people end up diagnosed with something that would have otherwise been missed. I can't tell you how many patients I've met who tell me they never questioned their doctors for years and years, and when they finally got a second opinion or gave some push back about something - they found out they'd had some problem going on that whole time. It happens, and it doesn't make you a "bad patient". @augusta108 - Glad your kitty is doing better!
@ajsanders-2 So glad to have a cycle buddy! We're the same age too...we're practically twins! @izza2 Love your Boy Meets World gif! That's a good one. That's too funny about your husband keeping you awake trying to talk about cheesecake...sounds like something my husband would do. He's a huge foody and loves talking about that kind of stuff. @Augusta108 I forgot about Clarissa! So many good TV shows from the 90's. Glad your kitty is doing better and gaining weight. It's a constant struggle for us to keep our dog at a decent weight too because she hates to eat food...she's a weirdo. @blackhottamales It sounds like none of us are feeling motivated today! @krashke My office is closing a little early on Friday too! Yeah! I definitely recommend temping so you can get a feel for your cycle and when you normally ovulate. I find it really fascinating to watch my temperatures change throughout the month and I've learned so much doing it! It can help take away some of the guess work, which can be helpful. You know from the intro thread that I'm taking a break from it this cycle, but I may end up regretting it because I love to know specifics.
@izza2 - Just popping in to say that I apparently have similar "awake" conversations during my sleep, too! Although I guess they are normally prompted by someone "waking me up" and I talk to them like I'm awake (but often don't make complete sense) and have no recollection of it later. I once told an ex that she had a floating spleen while I was sleep talking.

WAYDTGKU: appointments to figure out how to get pregnant, bbt (even though most of my chart is dotted lines where I didn't temp), HIO (once so far), praying
R/R: I think I have the man cold I know it's just a cold, but I am being a huge baby about it. I feel really sick. Also it's another busy week at work so I legitimately don't have time for a sick day.
CS/Q: well my temp today is normal post-o temps, but it might be up because of the cold I have. IDK I'm not doing OPKs this month.
GTKY: What was your favorite TV show as a kid? Bonus for GIFs.

@darkstar42 Fig and sausages sound like they could be great or terrible. Given it was a rave, I'm assuming they were great!
@izza2 You need to take Nyquil after you HIO. That's the only way.
@Augusta108 good luck at the vet today. I hope your cat tolerates it better than mine!
@lurvleybunchococonuts sorry about limbo. I hate to wish AF on anyone, but I hope you are able to move forward soon!
Month/Cycle: 2/2

WAYDTGKU: CM / EOD BD
R/R: I'm tired. Work sucks. Need motivation.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What was your favorite TV show as a kid? Bonus for GIFs. Reading Rainbow was a big one. Then Bewitched.
@darkstar42 Fx for O today! Love the Animaniacs.
@izza2 YH was talking about his ideal cheesecake? That sounds like something I would talk about in my sleep, was he sleep talking?
@lurvleybunchococonuts I'm sorry for the long cycle, that really sucks.
@MrsMiller8588 I'm sorry you have it but the "man cold" made me laugh. MH is a baby when he's sick.
Month/Cycle: 5/5 (3/3 and 1/1 AL)
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: Ubiquinol, PNV, BBT, CM, Acupuncture, HIO, green tea, and an RE appt if all else fails
R/R: Rant: I had to get up super early for a meeting this morning so I've been at work for what feels like forever but still have not gotten a lot done. Rave: it is starting to feel like fall outside which is amazing because I live in the very hot south.
CD: 4
WAYDTGKU: blood
The Popples!!!!
@darkstar42. I now have that theme song stuck in my head! Fx for O today.
@offtoneverland. What's for lunch?!
@izza2 I emailed my doctor this morning regarding labs. Thanks for the encouragement. I didn't know if I was being pushy if I asked, or if it was legit.
@Augusta108. Awhhh, is your kitty okay?
@zamora_spin. Do you get to leave early?
@lurvleybunchococonuts. Still hoping your body gets its ish together one way or the other soon!

R/R: I can't find my debit card and I'm freaking out about it.
I also loved Pound Puppies and Fraggle Rock and Muppets. Clearly, my parents didn't monitor tv time too much.... Lol
@jrm_14 Maybe, but only if I get a lot done which... woops I've been bumping. I don't have specific hours at my job but have to work a certain amount overall.
I will catch up with you all when we get back on Thursday sometime.
@zamora_spin. What do you think of the acupuncture? How long have you been going? Also, jealous of your fall weather...still hot here in the south!
@MrsMiller8588. So sorry about your cold. Summer colds are the worst!

@darkstar42FX you O today!
@izza2Luckily opks are super cheap, FX the line gets darker.
@offtoneverlandOh! Shepherd's pie is one of my favorite dinners in the fall/winter.
@Augusta108I hope your kitty is ok, or is it just an annual checkup?
@ajsanders-2FX you get CHs soon!
@lurvleybunchococonutsI'm sorry you are having such a long cycle. I read somewhere (probably not backed up scientifically), but drinking chamomile tea can help kick start your period.
@MrsMiller8588I hope your man cold doesn't stay around too long.
@zamora_spinYay for it starting to feel like fall! It's crazy hot where I live and all I want to do is wear my sweaters and boots.
@doxiemoxie212It's a good idea to make an appointment for your DH. Hopefully it will help his stress levels.
@jrm_14I usually always have a second line leading up to my FW and have a true positive OPK for 3 days.
@dukestar5Enjoy your hair appointment!
@catlady1215I'm sorry your appointment didn't go as planned and that you have a nasty headache. It really sucks when you feel like no one is in your court.
@darkstar42 what was the fig sausage? Sounds delish. We love the Aidells Chicken Apple Sausage.
@izza2 DH and I used to watch Jeopardy everyday while we cooked dinner when we lived in WI but here in MN it is on as like 4 pm when were still at work. But we still get to watch Wheel. Yes were 90 years old.
@Augusta108 what is RRL tea?
@ajsanders-2 I LOVED Hey Arnold too!
M/C: 1/1
CD: At this point I have no idea.
WAYDTGKU: PNV, CM, Ovia app, & HIO
CS/Q: N/A but thinking of starting temping so I can try to pin point my O better next cycle. Without knowing my cycle the Ovia app isn't very useful because it just takes when I think my last period was and a 28 day cycle.
R/R: Rant-so not motivated at work today. I just want to get back into bed and watch Netflix all day. Rave-next weekend is Labor Day and the Fridays before a Holiday our office usually closes at 3 pm and they just sent out the confirmation.
GTKY: TBH I just wanted to participate so I could post my fav TV show as a kid.

@izza2 I get your WAYDTGKU
@offtoneverland shepherd's pie is so good. i'll have to remember that once it starts getting cool out again.
@Augusta108 I forgot about Clarissa and Hey Dude
@ajsanders-2 fx for CH soon.
@lurvleybunchococonuts Seriously. I'm frustrated for you! when we first started trying and i went off BC I had some 55+ cycles and they are the worst! creepy internet hugs to you.
@MrsMiller8588 sorry you are sick
@marcus7676 your R/R is spot on today
@zamora_spin boo...i'm not ready for fall but glad you're having nice weather.
@doxiemoxie212 who the heck are the Popples?? i hear you on YH stress, but i'm jealous because MH won't BD when he's so stressed and so i've got nothing so far this cycle...
@jrm_14 oh no i hope you find your debit card. Last cycle i had a darkest and then dark but not positive after surge for 1 day on my OPK. not sure that helps you at all?
@dukestar5 are you still in TX? yay for hair appointment.

CS/Q: wish my temps would get under control. that or hopefully i have a really big temp spike when i O. We will see. (woke up early this morning at 4:45--maybe the high temp if due to the fair food/1 beer and all the walking last night?)

My mom haaaaaaaaaaated The Popples. I looooooooved them!
Thanks to all who asked about my kitty. He's gotten super skinny thanks to tummy problems, but we've got him on a new medication that seems to be helping a lot. This was the follow up appointment and the vet confirmed that he's gaining weight back at a good rate!
Now he's napping with his catnip pillow:

@Stargazer1lily FX for you. Maybe they'll get someone to review it.
@krashke Woot, woot for getting done early!!
@ChloandCoco I agree with you on temping, I swear that stresses me out even more.
@catlady1215 I am very sorry that your appointment did go well.
@dukestar5 Yay for getting your hair done, I need to get mine done soon as well.
@jrm_14 I loved Sabrina!! My sister named her cat Salem!

The worst part is that if I asked him what his ideal cheesecake would be for like his birthday or something - he'd have no recollection of the hour long debate with himself over how best to make/layer cheesecake... *sigh*
@zamora_spin - Nope, 100% awake.
