Confession: my BMI is high enough that I need an early gestational diabetes test.
Flame: I like the way my hips and thighs look now that I'm bigger, and don't actually want to lose weight... but I know I would be healthier for me as I have a lot of belly fat. Why can't I be a pear shape so I can be fat without the increased cardiac risk?!?
@cowboycorgi have you tried looking into excersizes that will help you keep the beautiful curves while helping you get into a healthier BMI? Squats for daaayyyyyssss.
Confession: I immediately block anyone who becomes a consultant for It Works, Marky Kay, or any of those other businesses. No I don't want to buy your products. No I don't want to be on your team.
@ShawnnaO, I love working out, and am a yoga instructor, but sadly it's genetics when it comes to where fat likes to deposit.
Squats rule, my legs are strong ... or were strong. I have been medically restricted from working out since starting IVF 4ish months ago. Now my legs are basically potatoes. However! My doctor just told me I'm allowed to take short walks now that my hematoma is much smaller!
@Cowboycorgi I'm a yoga instructor as well and I'm definitely an hourglass with big hips and thighs! It's more than possible to build up tons of muscle in your glutes and thighs to keep that shape and also lose some fat (not all.... obviously!). I love my but and thighs and wouldn't give them up for the world. No thigh gap needed here.
Confession: I ate an entire chocolate bar last night despite having a yeast infection. FML. I haven't had a yeast infection in years and years but I guess pregnancy brought it back.

I guess I should have phrased it better. I'm not interested in the amount of work it would take to make my apple shape into a pear shape, plus I can bench like a ... mother! I just have a very hard time gaining fat or building bulky muscle on my lower half. It stays very lean, so I am happy with the small amount of gains that I have right now!
Also, having a yeast infection is miserable! Eat the chocolate *hugs*
I think someone had a confession similar to this a couple weeks ago, but my confession(s) is I've still been eating some feta cheese on my go to salad, over medium eggs and I had a medium cooked steak last weekend.

No need to worry! The only problem is if you eat unpasteurized cheese, which is very very very uncommon. I think you might be able to find it at Whole Foods and that sort of place but you won't find it in regular restaurants or regular grocery stores. It should say somewhere on the packaging if it's pasteurized or not.
@npkat assuming you live in the US, I think feta cheese is pasteurized here and therefore safe. As for the other things, I'm a little jealous. I'm dying for a poached egg on avocado toast.
@npkat, I'm making a Greek salad this weekend and plan on adding allllll the feta cheese. As long as it's pasteurized, go for it!!!!! I've already had it several times this pregnancy.
Oh oh confession number 2, and this is an immature one, but I get frustrated when people's responses to things get deleted because of TOU violation. I wanna see what they said, darnit!
So so immature of me, but I want to know what's going on!
@ShawnnaO GAH I feel the same way about the multi-level marketing companies all over my newsfeed... you can totally tell these companies give their consultants sample posts, a library of images and hashtags to use in social media because they are all so similar.

@ShawnnaO Haha! Me too! Then it gets quoted and it's removed from the quote, too!! Agh! I hate it!!
@Cowboycorgi I got tested and diagnosed with GD at 6 weeks. It was so bad the OB didn't even have me take the three hour. If you need any advice let me know I am on my third pregnancy of starting GD super early. Confession- I walked up and stared at the sushi at the grocery store for 5 minutes today trying to convince myself it was/wasn't ok to eat.
I think makeup is silly. I haven't worn any since my wedding, four years ago.
I wear it occasionally because I feel like I have to sometimes, but I hate makeup.
Also you are like my doppelgänger today, WTF!
I've never known any women who don't look prettier without makeup. Maybe it's just my hippie tendencies, but I prefer the natural look on everyone.
My natural tone is usually red and recovering from a blemish. It's better for everyone if I at least wear a little. I do try to keep it subtle, unless I am going out. I love make-up, but that's probably bc I need to wear it. I do wish I was better at application.

I only wear makeup on special occasions, which equals once a year or less!!! How exciting to find other people who don't wear makeup!!! However if I have a girly girl I will be so screwed, like I can barely brush my own hair and get myself ready in the morning much less someone else!

I love makeup. When I was in cheer and dance captain in high school I was always the one helping everyone else get their hair and makeup done. I got out without makeup on all the time, but I also enjoy doing my makeup and taking time to get ready, when I'm able to.

I agree. Many times when I see women with makeup on, especially lots of eye shadow, I just think it looks like their faces are dirty. And no matter how good one is at applying makeup, most of the time we can see through it, I think.
Okay guys, here's my confession (hope I don't get flamed too badly):
Despite mixed reviews from all over the place (including our own BMB), we decided to go ahead and do the Sneak Peek Early Gender DNA test. I took the test on Monday and got the results back today and it looks like my intuition was confirmed.... we're having another BOY. Although we'll still have an ultrasound to confirm everything, I trust the results 100%.

HALLELUJAH!! I occasionally like putting make up on, like when we did our pregnancy announcement and my friends wedding coming up in a few weeks, I will. But other than that, why bother? It's making me break out anyway... lol
@HappyMonkey817 I wish I could get away with going without makeup. I have rosacea and it's 4 times worse now that I am pregnant. It's so awful. My gift to myself for grad-school graduation will be a trip to the dermatologist for treatment.
I can't go entirely without make up if going anywhere in public. I have the. Darkest. Circles. Ever. As in, if I don't put on something, I look like I haven't slept in months, no joke. Ugh.
Oh and.. I used to say I wouldn't care if people come up to me and touch my belly and talk to it. But now I care. Someone yesterday startled me by doing it. She asked if I had anyone do it yet or if I was tired of it yet...
@antoto I just shaved the top half of my legs today for the first time in like two weeks. I hate shaving, but have really dark brown hair so really can't get away without. But I try to stretch it. Hell even after I shave you can still see my hair in my skin. I rarely shave in the winter.

Count me in the rarely in ever wears make up club. I'm also in the I would wear jeans and a t shirt and a ponytail all the time club... my Pinterest board is full of super cute looks I want to be able to pull off and then I just wear jeans and a t shirt anyway. Haha.
AFM, my toddler has basically eaten slices of cheese the past two days for lunch. It's not worth the fight and hey, at least he ate??
I love makeup but I also do it as a job so I have more than any person should. I put on cc cream, blush, gloss, and mascara on if I go anywhere. I do also have an airbrush machine when I want to get really fancy.
I shave my legs every day. I hate the feeling of stubble on my legs and it seems to come back every day if I don't get rid of it.
As for people touching my belly I think I said this before but I will NOT be OK with it. I told MH today I want a maternity shirt that says "don't touch me". He said he already had one saved in his cart online.

No flames here!!! I did the same thing, we got a girl result. We're totally not buying anything or making plans until we get the ultrasound to confirm... but we totally told our 2 y/o he's getting a baby sister.
