Ultrasound and first full prenatal visit, expecting pap, swabs and all the blood work. I hope to get some answers to the spotting but don't actually expect to. FX everything is fine.
I have my first appointment on Thursday and I'm so anxious. I'll be 7 weeks and after two (TW) losses I'm just a wreck. I've been trying to not get too excited until my appointment. I'm really hoping this sticks and I'm here for the long run!
I have my first appt on Friday. They call it an OB interview. I guess I just see a nurse and they go over a bunch of stuff. Then they'll schedule my first US. Can't wait!
Friday! I have my ultrasound and all other little things they do with bloodwork. I won't see my doctor just an NP to go over normal pregnancy things. I'm so excited and looking forward to seeing that ultrasound
I have my 2nd ultrasound tomorrow morning. I should be exactly 8 weeks. During my first ultrasound (5w6d) babys heart rate was 102, so I'm pretty anxious to see it tomorrow. Im praying it increased!

@psuxray07 that's almost exactly what I did today. It was an "OB Consult" at my office, typically done around 5 weeks, more for new patients or patients with meds they want to check on/change. They did blood work and scheduled my first appt for 8.5 weeks. I hope yours goes well!
Had a consult with a Midwife today. We just sat down and talked for almost an hour and a half. Went over my questions /expectations / ideals, how she runs her practice, ect. LOVED HER! She told me to go home and think it over/talk to DH and let her know if we'd like to move forward with her. I wanted to tell her "no need, you're perfect for us!". lol Now to make my actual maternity appointment.

I got my orientation at the birth center and my first appointment scheduled today (in 2 and 3 weeks) I was looking at the calendar and everything is really starting to happen!
I have my first prenatal appt tomorrow. Not really that excited about it though... I had an ultrasound last week that showed a beautiful little on track baby with a 130bpm heartrate, and since its too early for a doppler, I'm assuming all I have to look forward to tomorrow is peeing in a cup and a pap smear. yay. :P
Yay! I was happily surprised today (7w4d) and not only didn't have to have a pap smear, but I got an in office ultrasound just to check on the baby. heart rate up to 153 from 130 last week Wednesday, and baby looks great.
Had my first appointment today. I'm 7 weeks going my LMP but baby is measuring at 6 weeks. I was able to see the heart beat though. Doctor wasn't too concerned about measuring a week behind because I have long cycles (usually 33 days) and I ovulated pretty late. I'm still of course anxious about it with my history of loss. Follow up appointment in two weeks. She adjusted my EDD to 4/19 but things it'll likely adjust again when they get a clearer picture in 2 weeks.
@julzy Hopefully you can get more reassurance in your next appointment! Were you tracking your cycle the month you got pregnant? It seems like it would make total sense that you ovulated later then CD14 if you typically have a 33 day cycle. FX it's just some timing confusion and your little bean is right on track!
@JJMNO1616 yes I was tracking and got an OPK CD18 and CD19. I think I likely O'd on CD 19 or 20 so yes it would probably make sense where I'm measuring... rationally I get it. Emotionally, well not so rational.
Had my first appt yesterday (8/23) just to confirm the pregnancy and go over general pregnancy stuff. Labs will be on 9/12 and first appt with a Doctor on 9/25. Hoping I will get to see a US by then!

Had my first appointment yesterday and got told baby is perfect but I'm anemic, have low blood sugar, and on the verge of becoming dehydrated my midwife said I need to get out of the hole but it's kind of hard when I throw everything up
I had my OB interview appt today where they just went over a bunch of stuff. They scheduled my first real appt and ultrasound for a whole long week from today, lol. They also gave me orders for blood work, a 24 hr urine, and 1 hr glucose that I have to try to do before then. I seriously hate the urine tests. It's really inconvenient with work because there's nowhere to store it, so I have to try to find time to do Sunday and drop off before work Monday.
Also I wish I didn't have to do it before my first appt because I basically have to take it to my old work (which I despise and don't want to set foot near there or certain people), and also because they all know me in all the outpatient centers in the area and no one knows I'm pregnant yet. I didn't want any of them to know until I announce and I don't trust them to not spread the news within the department.
@psuxray07 That's so frustrating about your old work! I know a little bit about how that is.... I live in a super small town, and if I was seen buying pregnancy tests, or prenatals, or was going into the local clinic or pharmacy for appointments/prescriptions, the news would already be all over town.

My first appointment is on the 7th too but I should be 9 weeks. The wait is absolutely killing me! Especially after the spotting I had a few days ago, I just feel SO on edge. I'm really sorry to hear about your friend. That's heartbreaking.

I work in a hospital laboratory full time, so of course my insurance requires me to get my blood work done at my job. Luckily that part of the lab is in another part of the hospital that I don't work so I'm just hoping they don't recognize that it's me.
