I got scheduled in to see my RE tomorrow for an ultrasound and bloodwork to try to figure out why I am still experiencing intermittent bleeding.... I told them we need to resolve this before I move on to IUIs. Hoping it's an easy fix!

@vlagrl29 next step is i will get a call tomorrow prob early afternoon to let me know how many of the 11 eggs fertilized. When I left today nobody knew yet how many of those eggs were even mature, but still I think 11 is an awesome starting number.
@harleyquinn0621 I hope they get to the bottom of the bleeding. Keep us posted!
@Momifbysea good luck! Here's hoping they are all mature and all fertilize !!!! I'll be thinking about you tomorrow

I did talk to my OB and he suggested I use clomid so we discussed my concerns. They don't use femara. I'm just hesitant for silly reasons I guess but they are not silly for me. Dh and I talked for a good hour last night and decided to give it some more time. This time of the year is so busy and I just want to enjoy life and the holidays without stress so if we do it it will be in Jan. They don't monitor clomid cycles except for prog test. Anyone on here ever use clomid? How did it make you feel.
@vlagrl29 I was ok on clomid- I did have some hot flashes but nothing too bad....good luck!

@vlagrl29 I used clomid for one cycle and it thinned my lining but u had no side effects. Clomid is also not covered under insurance bc it's for fertility where as femera is bc it's also used for something other than fertility. It would make me more nervous using it without being monitored tho.
I don't think OBs monitor clomid cycles idk - my old OB didn't either. What can happen if they don't? How expensive is clomid? Does uterine lining come back? All this is so nerve wracking to me. I actually thought about using Soy Iso instead but from my research if you do ovulate then it can make you not ovulate and I don't want that. And this is why I don't want to use it just yet lol.
There is a chance we may be moving to Cigna insurance next year because Blue Cross is leaving the marketplace for 2018. I'll have to check during open enrollment to see if they have any fertility coverage. Maybe I use these 4 months and learn about supplements to take to increase egg quality and for DH to take for sperm.
I just got a miraculous call- out of the 11 eggs retrieved yesterday, 10 were of good quality (I interpret that to mean mature?) and 7 FERTILIZED! I had to listen to the voicemail twice and I keep pinching myself! Now the wait until the Wednesday call...baby steps right?
@Momifbysea that is fantastic news! i've heard about 3 day and 5 day transfers, it sounds like you are doing a 5 day transfer... is that right?

so here is what I'm going to do before going for meds. I just bought the book "it starts with the egg" and I'm going to read that and start with some herbs. I feel I already live a healthy lifestyle with yoga so that should add to it.
@vlagrl29 Ive heard great things about that book! Let me know what you think.
We are doing PGS testing on 5-day blastocysts so on Wednesday they'll call me with however many they were able to successfully biopsy and send the biopsy part for the testing. Nurse said yesterday that transfers are typically 6-8 weeks out from retrievals.
@vlagrl29 my lining did thicken it's now around a 9 on clomid it was a 4. Clomid cost me about 80 bucks for 10 pills and that was for 5 days. I know some that it's more. I think re checks to make sure that your lining isnt thinING bc then can't support a preg.
AFM got progestrone results back today 57.9!!!! This is the highest it's been at 6diui other three times it was 23 19 and 18. She said I can test next friday. I'm just going to wait for AF and if I don't get it by Sunday I will get tested on Monday.
update on me - just got done with the RE she did an ultrasound. no retained tissue, cysts or fibroids... so she is putting me on birth control for two weeks to stop the bleeding and then i can start my IUI when my period starts after that... i also scheduled my HSG for next friday (it's HSG #2 for me)

wow @labluver2 - amazing progesterone! The more I think about it I don't want to do clomid. I think that for the rest of the year we will do better at timed intercourse EOD cd10-20 and I will add some supplements to our regimen.
Well I'm feeling pretty confident. I'm now searching for a holistic Doctor that takes our insurance. I feel like that paired with timed BD and adding the right supplements will benefit me better than jumping on clomid. Oddly enough I feel super calm about this direction.

@harleyquinn0621 so glad you're all clear to go! I know it must have seemed like forever but can't wait to hear about your next steps.
Im just twiddling my thumbs thinking about the 7 in that Petri dish...trying to be patient but Wednesday seems so far away!
Oddly enough I feel super calm about this direction.
