@SarahFoley725 When you said "contain" her I couldn't help but think of the Silence of the Lambs thing they use for Hannibal Lechter and it made me chuckle.

@SarahFoley725 you could always baby carry for The first year. I plan to do this. It has a lot of benefits all around but it also leaves you somewhat hands free to control a toddler.
Thats what I'm thinking I'll end up doing with most things. The only problem is it's SO hot here (Texas) that by May/June it will already be misery.
@SarahFoley725 would a stroller work? If it would fit in the store a double would be fab once baby got a little older!
Eh, maybe! I'll probably just have to start keeping a good stash of stuff so I don't have to go often.
Unrelated, I went to browse M18 since I've heard it's full of drama. I'm really sad I missed their original Intro thread because there were so many removed comments.
Sometimes I worry I might be more "mean" and less "snarky," but other times I just can't with this.

Le sigh. I've done searches on so many of these flyby posters and some have done them for YEARS! (Don't know about this one. Not at a computer & hard to research people on mobile.)

I refuse to give a legitimate answer to a drive by AW post like that. I'm no "nub theory" expert but..I don't think there was even a nub in that picture. All I saw were legs.
I honestly don't even know what nub theory is, but it sounds like looking at a nub to decide if it's a tiny penis or clitoris, and I have less than zero interest in ever doing that. To anyone's ultrasound.

Btw to all you regulars, I'm def going to be using the same meme for every drive by guess my fetus' sex thread just to warn you. I think it's funny as shit and it's not like OP will have seen it before.
I replied to the first nub theory just to give an opinion but I agree with above that this one didn't even look like much of one. I have a friend that told me about it and basically if it's pointing more up boy, more level girl. I agree though, it is a little strange to be looking at a stranger's u/s trying to determine the sex of their baby. Lol! I know it's super exciting though trying to figure it out. I don't have a lot of experience on the bump but it is weird some people just randomly post once and never write again. Seems like a waste of time unless you're invested in the community.

Slightly related to nub talk... My friends said my baby was a boy... I said it's a leg! I don't have a baby with a giant penis and no legs! I am the first one to have a baby but surely it's common sense! All 3 of them pointing at my babies leg! Did make me laugh for the rest of the day though! And they are boys so obviously penis is all they care about on my little baby photo!

Made me think of this:

When I was pregnant with DD I was sick until 36 weeks. If I forgot my medicine I was done for. This time I haven't been AS sick. I actually felt so good today I forgot I was pregnant for a second. I almost ordered a margarita at lunch and then I was like oh yeah crap! I can't wait to drink again
Anyway newborn boys are like 80% giant balls and 20% penis. (If that) lol
True story. When my friend's son was born she sent me a photo from right after the cord was cut and I immediately texted back "What's up with his balls?"

I keep forgetting too, like today when I had an idea to go to one of our favorite wineries in December and spend an afternoon sipping their delicious mulled wine. I'm gonna miss all of mulled wine season!

@eggplantface my mom is stocking my favorite summer beer right now. It of course came out AFTER my BFP. Fall beers are my favorite so I will definitely be hoarding all things pumpkin. Why is February so far away
@SarahFoley725 during spring and summer I'm all about the wine but come fall and winter it's all about the beer. I was at the grocery store and some of the fall beer was out so I grabbed some cases for H. I'll be side eyeing him hard when he opens them in front of me
Fall is stout season. I love stouts. I LOVE pumpkin stouts. I work at a craft beer bar. I told my boss I should get cake when the employees get beer samples because watching everyone drink free beer every day hurts my soul.
We have nephew's birthday party today and nothing I am putting on hides that I'm pregnant.
time to embrace the bump! Maybe they will give you extra cake!
Im with you! Just need to get DH on board. I wore a maternity top and shorts. I couldn't even finish my cake. Too sweet. But I'm regretting not eating a second burger....
