@vlagrl29 congrats on the pup! I'm so glad we got ours. She has been such a nice distraction since she takes up ever free minute I have. She's a handful! I would check in with petco or one of those stores. I think tractor supply only sells the vaccines themselves. You would have to give them to you pup yourself.

@sprkls8506 I know, that always sucks. I buy mine in as big of quantities as I can just so I have to go through buying them while still not pregnant less often.
@vlagrl29 yay for a puppy!! I wish we could get one, but our cat is not dog friendly. I'm sure you guys will love it to pieces!
@vlagrl29 she is adorable. Try petsmart a lot of the stores have a vet inside. My vet left and went to petsmart vet Banfield. I really liked her so I followed her. They offer an insurance plan. It was like $18 bucks a month in the beginning and then went to $25 once older. That way you wouldn't have to spend a lot up front. The insurance also covers neuter check ups and so on.
No name yet. I'm horrible at names! We are going to come up with a list and name her on Sunday. She's already gone to the bathroom outside and no mistakes yet in the house. Seems our other dog is fine with her. No arguments yet.
@vlagrl29 We have a white mini schnauzer mix. He is C-R-A-Z-Y! I am curious to see how yours is. Too cute! I know you'll find a vet alternative for shots. There are a bunch out there. Sometimes fire departments do them too.
Petco does them for $65 this sunday so we may just go there. I've seen your dog and he is crazy! This one fits in really well. She's already a snuggle bug. @justsuzie - instantly bonded with me and slept in our bed between DH and I
This last year has been such a challenge. This is an answer to prayers from God and my visualizations. When dh told me we could look last night I started crying. I told him I wanted a baby and I don't know if it will ever come. These 2 are getting along just fine. Like she was meant for our family. My heart is melting.
she's the sweetest thing @justsuzie - every 2 hours I let her out to go potty and she went right in the grass. I was completely amazed. I think training her will be really easy. My DD is sleeping with her tonight and I already miss her but I got the other one to love on too.
1. Introduce yourself (if you're new): Newish - post D&C 5 weeks ago, 2nd miscarriage after ttc for 16 months
2. Status? CD 1 - finally!! First time I've ever been excited to see AF come!
3. R/R? I'm so irritated that I still don't have my path report back from my D&C. It's seems like it is taking forever. Also, that I have a the ability to lurk in my chart and look for the results (I work for the hospital system) but it's a firerable offense...but man the temptation is strong! Im excited to be moving on though. Sonohysterogram scheduled for Tuesday along with some blood work.
4. GTKY: With summer almost over what are some last minute plans you have before fall starts? No last minute plans! I'm looking forward to the eclipse on Monday though. My house happens to be right in the direct pathway of totality so that's exciting.
@mrsjcrane so sorry the report is taking forever! Mine took almost 2 months. I had my D&C in Nov right before Thanksgiving but didn't get results back til mid Jan. I think the holidays messed it up. I hope you get your results soon.
@justsuzie - that would be nice but I always get AF. this month and last haven't been the best timing wise. last month we were on vaca during FW and I know that should sound like a lot of BD but we got it in once before vaca and once during vaca. DH's dad had caused us some drama so the opportunity wasn't there to have it happen more. This month DH was out of town for work for 2 days this week. We were able to get it in the day before he left and last night. Try again for Sunday. But as I know from the past even with precise timing it may not happen.
I've had a rough couple of days. I'm in a mom workout group, which I typically love going to. I took a few weeks off during/immediately after the mc. I've been back for a little over a week now because I missed it and felt being part of my normal routine would help. The first few classes back were fine. But yesterday, all three moms who happened to give birth during the week of my mc came for the play date after. And the mom who announced her pregnancy a week ago as well. Mentally I couldn't take it and walked away crying. My instructor knows all I've been through and has been super great. She actually had a very similar mc scenario as I did. I went back today because none of them were going to be there. Except another mom who hadn't been there in a while came and told me first of all people that she just got the biggest surprise of her life when she found out she was pregnant - and 22 weeks at that. What's ironic is I had run into her at a restaurant a few weeks ago, two days after my mc was confirmed. I saw her walk in and debated going to say hi because I thought she looked pregnant and would announce to me then. Oh and another friend announced on FB a couple days ago, too. It's like every time I start to feel better I get another reminder of it.
@GeekBeagle Oh no! So many reminders of what you lost. It's tough enough when it's a stranger, but when it's people you know and have to acknowledge it it's so much harder! I feel like something in me dies every time I have to congratulate someone else on their babies while I'm still actively mourning mine. *hugs*
@GeekBeagle so sorry. I think we can all relate. It stinks. Can't hide from the world yet sometimes it would be nice to. I dread pregnancy announcements! Even celebrity ones!!!
1. Introduce yourself (if you're new): Still newish. M/C in July and introduced last check in. 2. Status? 1st cycle post m/c, cd10 3. R/R? I hate going on Amazon now because it keep showing me suggestions of maternity clothes and baby items because of my search history. I hate it! I also had to delete maternity clothes from my wish list. 4. GTKY: With summer almost over what are some last minute plans you have before fall starts? Sumer vacation ends Tuesday so we are going to the beach one last time before school starts. But it's still going to be really hot where we live till Nov so there is still lots of swimming in our future for awhile. I grew up in Indiana and I really miss fall.

@geekbeagle - how can someone not know they are pregnant until 22 weeks? LIke wouldn't you know by the weight you are gaining in the belly. and baby movement?
@GeekBeagle Sorry for the rough times. Hope your are able to decompress around your family and find joy in that. And not knowing they were pregnant? Um, is this a Lifetime movie?
@justsuzie - I love her more everyday. We are taking her to Petco tomorrow for more shots and then I want to get her a haircut. I guess they need the rabies shot and then wait a week before going to the groomers.
@vlagrl29@justsuzie I know, right?! Like at some point you'd have to realize you missed your period at least, right? She didn't indicate that she was on any kind of bc. And having been pregnant before, she knows what it feels like. I just don't get it!
