@JamieK1882 so glad you get to get to see baby tomorrow! The lady that sits there and does the scheduling in our office sounds the same as your people and @fatstagnation She always has her hair just perfect and she's young and pretty and when walk in there with no make up and my hair just thrown up with my gym shorts on she just has this look on her face like I disgust her!

Thanks! Hopefully now I can lay low and stay out of her way and become forgettable
Okay so *super important* question here: I have a cousin having lularoe party and I do not own any of this stuff but thought it might be comfortable to wear during the next 7 months. Does anyone have these or wore them through a pregnancy? Are they comfortable by the 3rd trimester?
So maybe it's not that important a of a question.. but I just wanted to hear some thoughts or experience on this
@triplejplus1 I recently bought two maxi skirts from a friend of mine, mostly because I'm hoping they will be comfortable for fall and appropriate for work. The prints are so hit or miss, but luckily I got 2 pretty cute ones. It's all quite expensive, but she was giving proceeds that day to a local organization so I caved.
So I dropped off DD where my sister nannies so I could go into school today. And the dad was still there bc new was going in later. And he was wearing CROCS with khakis and a polo! Who wears those? (Small children and those with jobs on their feet, sure. But business casual guy?)
Also, DD bit the 4yo my sister nannies. Any tips on getting an 11.5 month old not to bite others? (She used to bite us too, but we'd say "no bite," set her down if needed, and walk away. She's not a fan of that and doesn't really bite us anymore.) I'm worried about when she goes back to daycare.

@skppks Yea, I didn't know if I wanted to fork out the money. I guess I was mainly wondering about the leggings. I bet the skirts would be comfortable but I rarely wear skirts. I also am not a huge fan of the prints! but they had a few plain ones with no prints and thats probably what I would most likely get

Honestly, by the third trimester most women need legit maternity clothes. While LLR is very forgiving when it comes to stretchiness, you might stretch the patterns by third trimester and it will all look a bit off. Plus, I feel the prices don't justify trying it for maternity wear.
@triplejplus1 I love my LLR leggings, but I can't stand them right now. I posted elsewhere that they cut into my uterus, into my bloat and give me muffin top if I try to roll them down.
Good maternity bottoms, if chosen well, can be worn after pregnancy, though! I have a ton of mat shorts that I live in and I am pretty lean and still loving them.
I'm kinda bummed I only have a week and a half left before school starts. I have an overload fall semester so will have no time to bump during the day. On the flip side, I'll have an underload starting January, so then will have extra time to bump.

Today's our 4 year wedding anniversary. We're not doing anything special because we don't have anyone to watch our daughter. Oh well.
I know it's not the same, but take her with you when you go out. You are pregnant, so it's not like you are going to be partying hard, but can still maybe enjoy a nice meal. We take our kids to all kinds of nice places. We expect good behavior, so they are pretty use to it. Happy anniversary!

This is what I was thinking too. By third tri I can't imagine wearing anything not maternity.
@triplejplus1 I bought a few pieces after DS was born, and found that they have been great pieces for postpartum and early pregnancy. I got a Perfect T and a Cassie skirt. Both have been extremely forgiving of my ever changing midsection while fitting the other areas of my body quite nicely. I thought the investment of just a few pieces with toned down patterns or solid colors was worth it because I plan/hope to be pregnant or postpartum quite a few more times. I don't think they would be very flattering/fit well in late pregnancy, but definitely during the early stages and afterwards when your body is still changing a lot. Postpartum was THE hardest on me for my body image because the cute maternity clothes that showed off my bump looked so not sexy on my floppy post baby belly and none of my old clothes fit me there either. It was nice to have just a FEW things that fit nicely and weren't baggy tshirts and sweats
@npkat That's the book I bought DH to read last time I was pregnant. It's a really good one and didn't make any of those "crazy pregnant lady, amiright?" jokes that a lot of the dad books I looked at seemed to rely on.
Vent: so I've been sick with a nasty cough for 3 weeks. I had my ob appt on Tuesday and she started me on zpack and the next day I was worse. So she referred me to see a pulmonologist who diagnosed me with bronchitis and started me on 2 weeks of prednisone. Cue the roid rage in addition to pregnancy emotions. But I think it's working and I'm starting to cough a little less!
@heatherdubrow I did, and currently awaiting my sinus test results to see where to go from here... tylenol for now and there may or may not be antiviral meds in my future depending on the test results. I'm really glad I went in!
@dani103 my favourite right now are cyclone , lemon , and rocket pops ahha. Taste buds of a child over here right now @StephBrim24 the idea of pulled pork is making my stomach churn!!
@npkat that's so cute! Did your H find this book helpful ? I've beening thinking of getting somthing for mine he doesn't quite get it sometimes.
Any other ladies get ther DH a book of sorts that just helped them understand a bit More
@heatherdubrow I might later on, but probably will just stick with tylenol for now because I'm not actually having sinus issues, which is weird. MH didn't with this virus either--just a bad cough, exhausted, dizzy, and fever.
Just came to read everyone's posts and to say that I'm going to a Sam Hunt concert on Monday! I'm so excited and don't have a lot of people who would care. Not that you all necessarily care but I figured the random board is a good place for this lol
