I found my pregnancy journal from my first pregnancy yesterday, and I had all the feels. I need to do a journal for this kiddo too, but my PGAL brain is working overtime and I don't want to jinx it. I just have to keep reminding myself how amazing it has been reading the first one now, and that my future self will be grateful.
@ngolimento I think I've had the same apprehension about starting a journal, but I guess I should be asking myself if I'll regret missing some of the early stuff if I keep putting it off
@ngolimento so many hugs. Nothing is ever the same after a loss, I totally get what you're feeling. You want to be optimistic but there's that nagging voice holding you back. It sucks.
We just had family pics taken for DD's first birthday and I'm so in love! Our last family photos were a huge fail because it was one week after starting potty training for DS (he did well enough pee wise but he was stir crazy from having been locked in the house with us all week) and smack in the middle of DD's nap time. It was a cluster. The photos for DD's 1 year were perfect! Now to actually print and get things hung on the wall.... /sigh...

I'm having a hard time focusing today with my phone buzzing nonstop with newsflashes from today's newest train wreck of events. I don't even know how to navigate my feelings as a parent of small people in this crazy world right now. I want better for my kids. They deserve better.

I'm glad you have a good support system at work. People here are legit afraid to talk about it (for good reason). I have locked myself in my office to shed tears more than I'd like to admit this year.

Feeling a little more confident that this is real today. Got my BFP at 11 DPO yesterday but it was pretty faint. Tested again today and still faint, what's up, Wandfo? But also did a digital and that said "pregnant 1-2 wks"
@fishsticks-n-custard hahaha! I think I'm almost done POAS. I want to do one more digital next week and make sure it says 2-3 wk. I hope that will help alleviate some PGAL nerves

I have a whole brand new box at home that I haven't opened yet... It's taking everything in me to not open it. On the other hand, I'm like, its my last pregnancy right? Should I just use up those last tests??? I was an obsessive POAS with #1 and #2. I'm proud of my control this time around lol.

@fishsticks-n-custard I taped my 5 or 6 wondfos to a piece of graphing paper and labeled each one with the date so I could more easily see the succession of lines getting darker

I took the kids swimming at a lake this afternoon, and we are going to a carnival/parade this evening. It is the most ridiculous carnival ever, but we go every year. Their only ride is a hay ride and the games are all really crappy. But the food is absolutely amazing and I can't wait. Then tomorrow after my doctor's appointment, DH and I are going to look at a house.
