I hope that I've posted enough to warrant my own post, but it is with a sad heavy heart that I'll be leaving you all now. Unfortunately, I had my follow up ultrasound yesterday, and while they still saw two gestational sacs, they didn't see anything viable inside them at all. Since it's been three weeks since my initial scan, we should have been able to see something if it were progressing, but unfortunately it looks like nothing is developing.
They gave me the option to either wait it out for nature to take its course, or to have a D&C, and I don't know what I'm going to do yet.
It's been great getting to know you guys over the last couple weeks, and I wish you all a happy and healthy rest of your pregnancies.
Update - thanks to everyone for the kind words. I don't want to put anyone on the spot to bring up unhappy memories, but for any of you who may have unfortunately been in a similar position as me, would anyone mind PM'ing me with some advice? I'm really struggling with what to do, and would love to hear from personal experience if possible. Thanks again.
