The only things I can seem to keep down are fresh fruit, steamed veggies, and McDonald's chicken nuggets for whatever reason.
Steamed veggies have tasted really good to me, too. Totally different from any other food preference that I usually have while pregnant, but it makes me happy!
@raspell@LiveNLove44 OMG I WISH I could eat steamed veggies right now. The only healthy thing I can eat is fruit and I'm worried if I keep this up I'll def get GD (she says on the way to French toast).

@vflux33 I also have a strange craving for stir fry veggies. I'm going to follow that train as long as it lasts!! With my last two pregnancies, I had to force myself to eat fruits and veggies regularly. They just weren't quite "right" for my appetite!
Does this lunch make make me look pregnant? I don't know why this hit the spot, but man did it ever. Lol hashbrowns, cheese, fried egg, sautéed cabbage with ketchup on top.
What is a non-soy or non-meat quick and easy protein that is working for you? I would love to dip something in something, but all nut butters are tasting so gross right now.
And I've had sushi for the 3rd day in a row! Hooray! Cooked (no judgment for raw eaters) bc raw sushi sounds horrible right now.

Have you ever used a French onion soup mix (dry) and mixed it in with plain Greek yogurt? You can obviously do that with a lot of dry seasonings, but the French onion mix is yummy!
I am currently trying to eat as much fresh fruit and vegetable that I can. Each thing I eat (almost each) becomes disgusting 2/3 of the way through. The only thing so far that has been ok is popcorn. I ate some cucumber last night...I don't think I'll be eating it agin this pregnancy lol
Just made chicken burrito bowls and used riced cauliflower instead of "regular" rice. It was soooo good! I probably countered any potential health benefits with the cheese and sour cream I added, but considering I don't actually like rice this is an awesome find for me. And got to use my instant pot for the chicken.
Anybody else use riced cauliflower for meals? What goes best with it? I'm thinking of trying a stir fry next.

Out of nowhere, peaches and green apples have been tasting like WOW good, not just "yum for fruits" good. Hoping this lasts bc it's the first thing that doesn't immediately come back up or threaten to!
Full disclosure: Green apples are dipped in nutella
I feel like at this point if I started a bagel cult you would all shave your heads and join me (And who can blame us, really, because bagels are awesome.)

@becausescience I steam riced cauliflower and then make "cauliflower crust pizza" which is essentially the steamed, riced cauliflower, egg, mozz, and herbs, bake it, then take it out and top it, and finish it in the oven. It's awesome!
It's 11:00 at night and all I can think about right now is tater tots. If I weren't so tired I'd go out and get some. @raspell same here with McDonalds chicken nuggets
In the mornings I can normally only handle fruit and juice and tea...but then I eat as much as I can for dinner (and second dinner- hobbits would approve). I never liked eggplant but suddenly fried eggplant has become my absolute favorite food.
I went and bought bagels from a bakery today, with their homemade cream cheese. Pretty thrilled! My DS was like "I love when your getting another baby because you buy chocolate chip bagels and Kraft Dinner!!"
I also have been craving bagels and cream cheese! It's all I want in the mornings! Usually I'm a yogurt for breakfast person but lately I haven't even been able to look at it. I've also been loving peaches and smarfood popcorn!
I typically love sweets, but I have been craving savory items like no other. If it is fried, bring it on! SMH. I have also been craving homemade guacamole and chips like crazy. **hangs head in shame**
