I get poop stinks, especially right now, DH nearly caused me to pass out today, BUT, you can't tell on the outside if someone has a disease or disorder that causes them regular (and/or urgent) bathroom breaks. Unfortunately my husband is one that suffers from this— completely normal looking guy, his co-workers don't know it's a medical issue and life long struggle because they don't need to know details, but it is. When he has to go, he HAS to go. He has regular times his body is ready to go and other surprise moments like at our son's baseball game tonight and he had to high tail it back home while I stayed with the kids. It's gross, indeed, but unfortunately in some circumstances it cannot be helped.

Maybe you could keep a spray at your work space and take it with you before you have to head in. Spray, wait a few minutes, and then go in?

This poop conversation kind of reminds me of Farrah Abraham. She apparently makes the whole film crew use a port a potty when they film her. She's an awful person.

My MBF is my cold that appeared last night!
A cold in July????? It sucks so bad!

Also, my workmate brings her homemade lunch to work every day, she then eats it at my desk and disposes of it in my waste bin. I love her company for those 15 minutes, but her food STINKS!! (Different culture, different food!) I usually don't mind, but since I got pregnant It's completely unbearable!!!
i know the minute I say something she'll know I'm pregnant. And we're still keeping it a secret...especially from my co-workers

I went out for lunch at a Mexican restaurant today and burned my pinky on the plate. I don't understand why a plate with a taco salad on it needs to be scalding hot?!?!

@antoto And it doesn't even make sense! Who would rather have a big, stank, bright blue port a potty outside their house (and a crew running around that doesn't have proper hand washing facilities!) than to just let them use a bathroom? I can see maybe if people are being rude or dirty, asking them to keep it to one bathroom so you're not constantly needing to clean all of them but a port a potty? Even if I were only thinking about myself, gross. No.

@chasingroygbiv my hubs has poop issues too. Sometimes he goes like 8 times a day and often has intense cramping that goes along with it. poor guys.

@isntthatspeshul It's awful and I know it's so frustrating to him. He's yet to find a medication that helps.

I just don't want to have to smell it; especially when I'm pregnant. Like I said, I know it's totally unreasonable.

@runnergirl2015 it's not unreasonable. It's call MBF for a reason. Let it out! If everyone else can complain about whatever they're complaining about, then so can we. Poop is gross. It's natural. We get it. But sometimes, especially while pregnant, I want to bitch about it.

I had been craving chili for DAYS and spend a full day cooking chili and then when I finally sat down to dinner to eat it with my husband, I couldn't do it. At least he got to enjoy it

@ShawnnaO @heatherdubrow I totally feel both of you! Last night I grilled some awesome looking porterhouse steaks and when we sat down to eat I couldn't. I ended up eating corn on the cob and cucumbers.

@chasingroygbiv @isntthatspeshul MH also poops many times a day, and it's often quite urgent. He isn't comfortable and can't properly function if he can't go when he needs to. We schedule things around it. I would hate to think that people were judging him for it....

My best friend in middle school had Crohn's Disease. It totally fucked up her body development, she had to take giant horse pills with every meal like a 90 year old when we were 12, and if she needed to use a bathroom, there was absolutely no way to avoid it or hold it in till she got home from school. It was a horrible and embarrassing part of her everyday life, and anyone who doesn't have it should be grateful.

I don't like the smell of poop either, but whenever I smell something rancid in a public bathroom, I try to remember that the person who created that smell feels a hell of a lot worse than I do.

All this poop talk reminds me of a blog post I read about a pregnant woman who accidentally pooped in her closet. It's basically the funniest most mortifying thing you'll ever read, ever. Poop happens. I don't think any person enjoys the smell of poop. But we all deal...imagine how our pregnant vomit smells after using the bathroom! Just saying...

ETA And imagine when we can't reach a toilet to vomit in, and the public has to see us vomit. Sorry everyone for the mental image. But it happens, and people deal. Not tell us to throw up when they feel is appropriate.
