DD is almost 2 and we'll probably wait until she's 8 or 9. I got mine pierced around that age. My mom and I went up to Claire's at the mall to get them pierced then went out to lunch and it was a really special memory for me.
I probably will wait till she asks. I would also let my son get his pierced if he asked. My mom wouldn't let me get mine done until I was in Junior High and only one hole, and I thought that was too strict. Then at 18 at I got 2 more holes in each ear and my nose done and she acted like I was headed to the dark side instead of a prominent engineering school. I do like to wear earrings and wear them most days. Maybe I will get them done as a baby, but not likely.
