  • Month/cycle:  3/2

    CD/DPO: 43/4 (or 3, see CS/Q)

    Timing: -3, -2, -1 (or -4, -3, -2, see CS/Q)

    Typical LP Length: 12 days

    Testing: around 7/18

R/R: I'm not congested this morning!  Which would make this one of the quickest colds ever.  Crossing my fingers it stays away.

CS/Q: FF finally gave me CH!  It's a day off from when I believe I actually O'ed though and on a day when my cervical signs felt notably infertile, so I'll probably stick with my original estimate on CD 39.  Chart below (sorry, struggling with adding a spoiler today):

GTKY: What celeb looks most like YH?  I can't think of one, I'm lame.
  • Month/cycle:  14/11

CD/DPO: 22/4-6...not totally sure because my temps and OPKs don't match and I'm not sure which to trust. Dr appt in a few hours will hopefully provide some clarity.

    Timing: -1 and O [or] -3,-2, and O

    Typical LP Length: 12-14 days

Testing: I'll test Friday just in case because we're going to the beach this weekend and I want to have a few drinks if there's no reason not to.

R/R: 1st cycle with clomid has been not great with with OPK confusion (follicle scan showed almost mature follicles, so RE said no need to come in over a weekend unless there was no positive OPK, next business day brought +OPK, so I didn't go in before we went out of town for the 4th. However, bad sleep made me unsure if there was actually a temp rise or not and here I am a week later still confused). I'm already thinking about what to do about my next cycle if this one doesn't work out because we'll be out of town for a few days when I need to be monitored and I don't want to be confused again.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What celeb looks most like YH? Young MH and young Matt Damon look very similar, but not as much anymore.
  • @lurvelybunchococonuts @MrsMiller8588 Huh, that's weird.  I can see it on my laptop.  I'll try to fix it later, have to run to the doctor's at the moment.
  • @nanilani04 it shows as:

  • @MrsMiller8588 yeah... I'll stupidly keep my FX, but I'm thinking this cycle was a bust, sigh.  A lazy night with DH & pups sounds awesome!  What kind/how many puppers do you have?

@LazyCrane I hope your doctor is able to provide more clarity, that is so frustrating!  Darn holiday weekends!

@kangaroo85 I don't have a ton of experience since this is my first month temping, but if you haven't already posted your quested to the chart stalk thred, I would suggest you do.   They would probably be able to provide you with some insight! Lol so YH has a lumberjack look going on ;)

  • @LazyCrane Having conflicting signs sucks.  While hopefully you won't need it - maybe next cycle's signs will align as they are suppose to.  Are you getting a progesterone draw at 7dpo?  Maybe you could get one for tomorrow and Thursday to compare the #s for O.

@kangaroo85 Can you post your chart?  Are you doing OPKs or CM with temping that would back up one day over the other?

@lurvleybunchococonuts I think if you can get two BDs in during the fertile week that is pretty good.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

    Month/cycle:  1/1

    CD/DPO: 24/6

    Timing: -3, -1, 0, +1

Testing: Probably 10dpo.  We'll see.  I tested for my trigger this morning and the line is pretty faint, so it is still in my system.  Hopefully will be out soon.

R/R: Going to visit my grandma with my mom today - it is about a 1.5 hour drive, so not terrible, but not super close either.  Hoping my mom treats me to lunch and coffee. :)

CS/Q: nope, but chart in spoiler for curious minds

GTKY: What celeb looks most like YH?
According to this reputable website, Noah Wyle.  He also got 50% matches with Patrick Dempsey and Simon Helberg so... who knows.  This google search image actually kindadoes look like him, but I don't think he looks anything like the ER era Noah Wyle.

  • @kangaroo85, I got that message last week too. Mine only moved by 2 days but it is still frustrating. I'm ignoring temps since I was out of town and not tempi at usual times with the usual amount of sleep and crossing my fingers that the OPK was accurate.
  • @becausescience, I'm not 100% sure what they'll do because I am the worst at asking questions, but I don't know of any other way to confirm ovulation after it happens so...probably. I will definitely ask today.

ETA everything from R/R down bc TB hates me today.

Are the charts not working? Or is it just me?

@cards10 I still really need to see that movie! I love remade classics...when they're good.

@nanilani04 so glad you're feeling better!

@lurvleybunchococonuts coffee is my rave erryday!

    Month/cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 29/11

    Timing: -4, -1, 0

Typical LP Length: Not sure - it was 11 days last cycle, looking to be longer this time.

Testing: I'm not sure if I should test this week or wait until the supposed first day of my period, which would be between the 16th and 18th based the FF calendar. I'm going to try to stick it out for accuracy.

R/R: Rant - I'm the worst at symptom analysis...period cramps or gas? irritability from PMS or lack of sleep? Also so terrible at analyzing CM, so I just don't. I feel like It's just always the same! Rave - countdown to Mexico: 6 days

CS/Q: None today, but trying to add my chart in a spoiler and it's not having it.

  • @isntthatspeshul, I gave up on CM a while ago too. I never saw a pattern so I don't know if it's because that's not a good indicator for me or I was bad at determining type ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  • @kangaroos85 I'm new to this whole temping thing. That's a big change. Could you post your chart? I'm interested in learning more and curious why it would move your O day by so much!

@lurvleybunchococonuts I do have FF, and *TW* loved temping last time TTC *end TW*. I'm currently refraining bc MH says it stresses him out. He wants it to "just happen" (eye roll) without "obsessing". I used to try to track CM and CP but I found it difficult to correctly identify as @LazyCrane said too. I do note when CM seems to increase in quantity. If this cycle isn't it then I'll be temping again!

Here's my super useless and boring "chart". The break in BD was bc I was gone for work.

And im loving all the celeb comparisons. We are some lucky ladies :)
  • @nanilani04 Yay for not being congested and crosshairs!

@MrsMiller8588 That sounds like such a nice evening relaxing at home with DH and doggies

@lurvleybunchococonuts oh, and to finish answering your question... no I don't really know that I've O'ed. But I do have "regular" cycles. I know I know, it's regular until it's not, hence the HIO EOD ;)

ETA tags... I'm mobile and it's hard to keep up. I actually took notes a a post it as I read through  :#

    @eliz2791: GL testing!!!

@fishsticks-n-custard: you don't know Charlie Hunnam?!?! I'm sorry.
  • @becausescience have a fun visit :)
    @oneblessedmess Ooo I love Target!
@isntthatspeshul & @lazycrane ah gotcha on CM/CP, I have trouble differentiating it, and get frustrated with it from time to time, but I am able to see some difference around FW.  It seems to be just figuring out what it's like for you.  I did some reading online and the standard "sticky, creamy, wet, EW" really doesn't work for some people.
@fishsticks-n-custard hmm, adding up your man crush and now knowing what celeb yh resembles I understand why you started dating him ;)  Good choice, David Tennant is awesome!  Very true, not out until AF shows her ugly face. I'm attempting for a TWW of non-SSing but finger/toe crossing lol.
@cards10 gotcha, well FX you won't need to start temping :)
@wisewitch222 good luck with the electrician!
@eliz2791 oh no! I hope you feel better soon!

CS/Q:  Sometimes FF confuses me, but I am still new to using it. From what I know I O'ed on CD 12, but FF has it showing for CD 14. So I've been going off the time when I got the positive. Thoughs? I should probably post this into the chart stalk board as well.

R/R: 99% of the time I wake up between 5:30 and 6 without an alarm, temp, and go back to sleep. Today was one of the 1% days, and I didn't wake up until after 7am. Sigh. Wildly inaccurate temperature.

    CS/Q: No questions today.

GTKY: What celeb looks most like YH?
Hmmm... this is a hard one. I can't think of any!

  • @ajsanders-2 I agree with FF that you O'ed on CD14. The temp shift is noticable and I don't use OPKs myself, but my understanding is that you will O a day or so after a +. You still have good timing with CD14! But definitely ask on the chart stalk thread.
  • edited July 2017
@ajsanders-2 I'm still learning and I don't have personal experience on OPKs, but from reading/hearing feedback from other ladies I know that you can get a positive up to a day or two before O.  I believe it essentially just keys you in that O is imminent.  So I'd probably trust FF/your temps that O was actually CD 14.  Just my 2 cents. *shrug*

ETA: Lol, just saw all the other posts stating the same info.  Consensus seems to be go with FF :D

@ajsanders-2 looking at your chart I would agree with FF on CD14. Ovulation normally occurs 12-36 hours after the positive OPK. A positive doesn't mean you ovulated that day. A temp rise occurs the day after  ovulation so it looks like your signs are lining up for CD14.

  • @lurvelybunchococonuts  It's funny, you were able to post my chart (I can see it) but I'm assuming it's still not showing up for you.  I'm not going to stress about it, seems like something's going on with all the charts today.  If anyone's that curious they can find mine from yesterday's thread.  Today's temp is still well over the cover line.  The one day disagreement between my believed O date and FF's confirmation doesn't change too much,  our timing was still within the FW.

Thanks for asking after the appointment.  *TW* My son might have asthma, so that's a bummer.  Crossing our fingers that he grows out of it! *end TW*

@ajsanders-2, ovulation can happen 12-36 hours after a positive OPK, so FF is probably right about CD14.
  • @nanilani04 oh that's too funny... it states "invalid link" in bolded red for me.  FX for YS!  My nephew had asthma  when he was younger and so did I according to my mom, but now we're both fine now, I outgrew it around 5 years old-ish (although, I do vividly recall randomly having one bizarre asthma attack around age 11, my nephew may have been a little older when he outgrew it if I remember correctly) TLDR, hope your son outgrows it! :)

  • @lurvleybunchococonuts - yes MH is a totally lumberjack/lumbersexual, lol! He hates when I say that.

@becausescience - Doing OPKs and just started temping this month to try to catch O. I think I started the day off O as I had a peak OPK  and then temp swing. I'm not sure it swing in the right way but see below.  I don't track CM because I am as dry a single the Saraha desert at any given point during my cycle!

@oneblessedmess - I'm going to target today too!

@darkstar42 - I have no idea, I just started using FF last month and started temping mid cycle this month. I'm a fein for data, lol

Ok forgive my half temp chart. I just started mid cycle because I saw th BBT term at target and bought it on a whim.  The two dots is yesterday and today's temp at 98.17, which I checked ignore because of that msg in my first post.

  • @kangaroos85 I want to make sure I understand all the notations on your chart, is the below correct:
    CD14 Peak OPK
You don't have a lot of CM but did notice fertile CM on CDs 9, 13, 16, 22 and 23.
You had a positive on a ferning microscope on CD19.
When you input your latest two temps FF moves your O date to CD22 so you are discarding them, but other than FF moving your O date you have no reason to discard those temps (ie, didn't sleep late/stay up late, etc).

What type of OPKs were you using, ferning microscope or something else?

Based on the above and assuming you got a positive/peak OPK on CD 14 and not on CD 19, I would actually put O at CD 17 as my best guess for O. If you did have a positive ferning microscope test (I am not very familiar with how these work, but I assume they are like an OPK), I would agree with FF that O might be CD22. Keep in mind that you are not O'ing yet when an OPK is positive.  Instead, a positive OPK indicates that you are likely going to O 12-36 hours later. It is also possible to have a false surge of LH, and the only way to confirm a false surge is if your temps don't stay up. Overall, even if the temping is hard for you I would keep at it. I find that I need to temp, OPK, and check CM to have confidence in O date. You may also want to post on the Chart Stalk thread to get more opinions.
