Had my follow up ultrasound this morning and the doctor has confirmed this is an unsuccessful pregnancy. Had some growth since last week but the fetal pole looks abnormal and there "really should be a heartbeat by now"

My OB wants to see if I miscarry naturally but I have another follow upon Wednesday to double check no heartbeat and she will medically cause the MC at that point if needed.
This sucks.
Hope you all have a very happy & healthy 9 months and our other measuring-behind-mamas get better news!

@neener*neener* Unfortunately, I have been thru this before as well so I have an idea of what to expect. I'm just not sure if my body will recognize it since it didn't last time, and the "assisted" process was so awful.
Fortunately, this time I have a beautiful spunky daughter to help keep my mind off the negative rather than being completely consumed by the loss like I was the first time.

I am so so sorry. I wish I was there to give you a BIG hug. I'm so glad you have your sweet girl there to help keep your mind occupied. In some ways my losses were easier after having my son but in other ways so much harder. Best wishes to you and your family.
