@baby3forme i agree with the others. A phone call never hurt anybody. Also thanks for not posting a pic
My back is killing me. Maybe my bed is uncomfortable or ive been doing too much homework or my 30 pound toddler is too needy. Whatever the reason my back is in a lot of pain these past few days
+1 to the memory issues. I forgot DDs gymnastics start date from summer break. I was off by 3 weeks, oops. I also forgot her dance date but luckily had an epiphany last night that it starts today not next Saturday.
A normal bowel movement would be nice, instead it's always indigestion no matter what I eat, but it always takes forever. Not so great at work. I remember there being a UO about phones and bathrooms. I'm now busy of answering my work phone while in the bathroom because I know a doctor or therapists needs to tell me something and they are also busy so I answer so I don't hold anyone up or miss something then have to go chase them.
I know people hate this topic but I promise not to post pictures or go into too much detail. I just lost a big piece of mucus plug. Is 22w too early for that? Like have any of you starting losing yours that early? I know it can grow back so no worries, I'm just wondering!
It's totally fine. They grow back. If you're worried, call your doctor, but it's normal.
We just went grocery shopping and I had such bad stomach pains the entire time. My stomach was hard and I just wanted to sit down. Then when we got home I got a sharp quick pain in my rib cage. I think maybe baby moved up and then either kicked or punched my ribs. I don't know if she could be up that high since I'm only 22 weeks. Hm.
I think I figured out this pain in my upper abdomen. I'm going to blame the baby, I think he is laying diagonally and is poking there. When I go to touch the spot there is a jerking motion under my hand and it subsides a bit. Darn kid trying to stretch out.
I get this feeling of kicking "down there"... That's just the only way I can describe it. Not sure if it's my cervix or bladder or what. It doesn't hurt (yet), but it feels like they're kicking their way out and of course I don't like that!
ETA totally got mixed up with baby movement forum!
I am ridiculously emotional and moody, it's been a stressful week but geez I am angry one minute, happy the next, sobbing a few mins. later. DH is getting super annoyed and that's making it worse somehow.
I'm major tired again. 21w+6 This last week I've struggled so much to get up before 9am Usually up by 6 We typically crash by 11 and mostly keep off screens after 10 but I look at the clock.at like 8 and just want to sleep. All my exercise is much harder too I have NO energy This is pretty much the only symptom plaguing me but it is making productivity so hard Wasn't I supposed to get energy this tri? The brochure lied
Started my morning with a bloody nose, my first one this pregnancy.
Maybe TMI, oh well, a nice gentle sex with DH and my uterus contracted really hard and while it was that way I laughed and felt such a sharp horrible pain that I actually cried but couldn't cry hard because that made the pain worst. Now I have a pain in that spot when I move.
Also. I've choked on food twice this week, I thought I was going to become one of the patients at work with aspiration pneumonia. Why can't I eat? I wasn't even multitasking or talking while eating.
Feeling pretty good over here besides the shortness of breath. Going outside in the 90 degree heat and humidity is pretty horrible, especially if I have to walk a bunch or keep up with the kids. I seriously thought I was going to pass out the other day! Other than that though, I feel fab!
The reflux is so real. And so unwelcome. I've felt good and normal for so long though, it was only a matter of time. The tums bottle says no more than 5 tums/day for pregnant women. Thoughts?
@DuchessOfCambridge buttermilk seems to be doing wonders for me. I was dying with heartburn after every meal no matter what I ate and now just have a half a glass of buttermilk with my meal and it helps. Not sure if you will like the taste but give it a try.

I know that too many Tums can result in kidney stones, but I think it's rare and you have to eat a ton of them. I wouldn't go over the max amount on the bottle, just to be safe.
@ShePersisted ooo yeah I don't know if I can do the taste of buttermilk, but I'm glad it works for you! Might just be a matter of time before I get desperate enough to try it haha!
I had hunger pangs one hour after lunch so I ate ramen noodles and now I have a stomach ache from over eating. I'm miserable. How long will it take my stomach to digest it. Ugh I hate this feeling.
@ShePersisted I've been really wanting some ramen noodles. Like the 10 cent package you can get at the grocery store. Haven't had them in at least 10 years...so strange!!
@DuchessOfCambridge the reflux is Soo bad. I feel that pain. Yeah I try to stick to 2-4 tums a day when it's bad but then also supplement with papaya enzyme, and last pregnancy at the end I had a prescription acid reducer for really bad days. I have heard good things about a small amount of apple cider vinegar each day and I am going to try that this next week to see if it works. Also plan to go to a chiropractor when I'm further along because that can help too and I do not want it to get as bad as with DS I'll let you know I they help much.
The last two days I've had this weird numb and tingly feeling in one shoulder down to my elbow. Super weird and I think it's probably nerve related but I don't remember doing anything to it.
Heartburn has been crazy lately. I am extremely tired all the time (worse than I was in my first tri) and nothing sounds good to eat... even though I am hungry. Kind of wish the cravings would come back!
@maegpie Could be carpel tunnel. It's common while pregnant and that's exactly how mine started with DD2. I would just watch your repetitive movements and make sure your mixing it up every now and again.
@DuchessOfCambridge I went through tums at an alarming rate with DS. I know they can cause kidney stones but I think it's fairly uncommon. I just bought my 3rd bottle this pregnancy yesterday. I just eat them when I need it and don't count.
@jess0211 I may be strange but i welcome the loose stools to constipation since I'd rather not sit there forever and strain.
Normally I would too, but since I posted earlier I've been feeling pretty crappy and suspect I have a touch of a stomach bug or ate something that is disagreeing with me
@baby3forme that's not good...I have a desk job and type all day long unless I'm in meetings. Ugh I put mulch out this Monday I'm hoping it may be something from that I really don't want to deal with the other. Thank you for the thought though. I will bring it up to my OB at my next appointment.
@bannaners@BayCamp a friend of mine is a doctor (couldn't get through to my OB today, no one would pick up?!) and she said Zantac is totally safe and fine and told me one medicine to avoid but I don't remember what it was. Anyway, I'm so happy with my Zantac!
Pretty sure I have symphysis pubic distinction. I had been playing it off that baby was low because I tend go walk funny due to pain in the front. But now I can't roll over in bed or lift a leg alone without excruciating pain and when I do get up my pelvic cracks.

It's awful! I've had it with both of my other pregnancies and am just waiting for it to happen this time. My doctor told me to not do things that can increase the separation - don't sit cross cross, don't do exercises on that leg machine that makes you open/close your knees - stuff like that. It won't make it better - only having baby will do that - but it can keep it from getting (much) worse.
@DuchessofCambridge Zantac is a miracle drug, and whoever invented it deserves a gold medal. I used it a lot prepregnancy. Tums are still doing OK for me, but if they ever stop working, I'll definitely use Zantac.
@kissthesky32 I don't think I had it this early. My leg actually got stuck hanging from the bed this morning when I tried getting back in because it hurt so much i couldn't lift it. Most the day I walk funny. I have wide hips to begin with and my job is pretty physical but in not doing more than before. A few co-workers yell at me when I try transferring patients but other times I have to do what I have to do to reposition the patient. I find walking a ton makes it worst. I'm already sleeping with a snoogle.

@baby3forme I had something similar a few days ago only it happened when I bent over. I attributed it to ligament or muscle strain but it was scary.
