Re: IF/Testing Weekly Check In - Week of July 3

  • @kiwi2628 I'm so sorry for the CD1 and that insurance made you do a pointless beta. And I'm sorry about the cysts. Fx for you that IUI #2 will work!
  • Loading the player...
  • @kiwi2628 I had to do blood work before something, maybe my laproscopy...anyway the nurse listed all of the tests and after she said pregnancy test I told her she could just leave that one off. Her reply...honey we just want to make sure there's no baby in there.  My reply... science tells me there's not.  Her face was priceless.
  • @Redpuma119 hahahahaha you just made my day. This suggestion will make him so happy

  • @purplg8r Progesterone in oil...sooo not looking forward to it!  Can you tell your principal that you have an appointment that you made in June but they were unable to get you in because it's a busy practice?
  • @purplg8r can you say that you have to see a specialist and thus was the first available opening? GL!

@antoto so close!!! enjoy the hell out of that massage!!! And wine. And sushi!

@purplg8r I would also just mention that you got an appt with a specialist and that was the first appt you could get.
Although fwiw, I just told my manager what's going on. I've literally had multiple appts each week for the past two weeks so it's kind of easier that she knows instead of an awkward "hey I have an appt and will be late tomorrrow" every other day.
  • @leekat14 @BertieMeetsGertie @50Wife I'll tell them it's a specialist and hope they don't ask!
  • @KristoKekerooni :hugs: Those sorts of "anniversary" reminders are never fun. They should totally give you a free year for all the recommendations here!
@leekat14 Sorry to hear about the lining. I hope that solid transfer date comes soon with the meds!
@kiwi2628 While I understand that the docs "need" to check, it's so ridiculous that they just can't trust what our bodies are doing. Like every time I have to get a procedure or new meds at the clinic, they do a pregnancy test. I always tell them that there is 0% chance that I'm pregnant, but they still make me pee in a cup anyway. Rooting for your IUI #2!
@antoto Countdown time!!! I hope your sushi/wine/massage binge is excellent. Sending tons and tons of positive vibes your way.
@purplg8r I don't have any advice beyond what the other great ladies have offered, but I feel you with the school stuff. Our dual extraction is going to be during the first month back to school and I'm sure people will be wondering why I couldn't have just done it over the summer. Have an awesome time at your races!

@Sailing_Mama yay for moving forward!!! Good luck with your blood work.
  • @Sailing_Mama Good luck with your blood work!
  • @Sailing_Mama so glad you're on to
a new cycle!  Have funat your property this weekend!
  • @beanship I was doing a bit of searching on the spearmint/PCOS link over my lunch hour. Most of what I found was anecdotal (but convincing enough that I went out and got some!). Would love some of our science ladies to chime in...
  • @Sailing_Mama Yeah I found that one scientific study and remember seeing something about another study (but couldn't find it). The study was small, but it was good enough for me. And I like the tea way better than most other teas ive tried (tastes like chewing gum haha). I've already had my 2 cups for the day! And if it's all bogus, I'll at least be better hydrated. Side nite: DH likes to eat foods I specifically buy for myself, but I told him spearmint reduces testosterone levels and he is avoiding it like the plague. Wouldn't even taste it.  :D I agree - can we get some input from the science ladies?
  • @beanship Both of those are amazing ideas... I was looking at my tea and the pile of limes on the counter as well...
  • @saralee797-2 ahhhhh FET next week!!! So exciting!!!

    @kiwi2628 sorry about your computer!
