My 10 year old, who snuck into my room last night when I was sleeping to get his remote (I take the remote away before I go to sleep), and stayed up watching TV until 5 AM. He gets the award today.
@bumpybump I'm sure he'd try to sleep until the afternoon & shoot for a repeat. He's going to be really cranky when I wake him up here in about 30 mins...
My dog. I love him dearly, but this morning he really didn't want to go poop. I stood outside for 30 minutes wait for him to go and all he did was stare back at me like I was crazy! This epic stare battle made me leave the house late and almost made me late for work.
I work on Mondays tutoring where I sit in a computer lab. Since I've been dealing with feet swelling I usually have a chair set up beside me to elevate my feet. I got up to help a student and while I got up another student went to sit in the chair I had been using for my feet. When I kindly asked him to sit elsewhere he was offended even after explaining I needed my feet elevated as recommended by my doctor.
Because Canada Day fell on a weekend, lots of businesses chose whether to have Friday or Monday off. We chose Friday because of the nature of our business and because it was closest to the holiday, and now today is still super slow. I want to send all of my office staff home early just because DH and DD are home today from work and daycare, and I feel like I'm missing out .
This horrible allergy attack. As if I wasn't getting fantastic sleep to begin with, let's throw in a completely stuffed nose, and a really fun cough...because I LOVE peeing on myself.
DH. God bless him, but he stresses out whenever I buy something for the baby. He was under the assumption that literally all we'd need was diapers, a few onesies, a car seat and a crib and that anything else is just me buying things. I think I've been really good about controlling what we get, but now I'm stressing!
@Kathryn0903 that student is a twat! You should have said you needed the chair to keep your water from breaking, and then pretend to be in labor.
@mrsmatt1212 my DH was the opposite for a while. He kept wanting to get things, but I kept telling him, after the shower. He was worried about me going early, and not having what we needed.

Mommy to a super cute havanesse puppy and baby boy!
@littlebug2010 I thought since our showers have passed he would ease up a bit but noooooo. Our friend loaned us a black Moby wrap but everything I've read says it gets hella hot because it's thick (and this one is black), so I purchased a Solly wrap to keep us cooler since it'll be August in Florida. DH could not comprehend that decision. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@mrsmatt1212 My husband is totally the same. After our shower, I ordered everything left on our registry. He came home to like 8 boxes piled outside the garage and thought I was nuts But he'll be happy to have this "extra" stuff when he's taking care of DD! I'm all about making our lives easier. Plus, I'm trying to avoid as many emergency BRU trips as possible. Thank the lord for Amazon prime.
My poor DH, too. He keeps lecturing me on washing, drying, and putting away the laundry as I do it. He gets annoyed if I forget stuff in the washer or dryer. This morning I go down to put laundry in and lo and behold he has clothes in both the washer and dryer. It wouldn't make me near as mad if he didn't nag about it, but really?
@mrsmatt1212 and @secicc12 I'm a STM and DH still freaks out when I buy stuff. He thinks all we need for LO #2 is diapers so he can't understand why I'm buying so much stuff. I've barely bought anything, he's going to lose it when I use the completion discount on Amazon Prime day and we have a ton of boxes at the door.
@HappyToBeHere - ditto - my company did Friday, DH's did today. There's hardly anyone here and my sister is visiting - I would much rather be at home right now than here. I may just leave a bit early!
Me: 37 DH: 37 - Married 10.2015 ❤️ Canadian DX: Endometriosis - Stage 4, DOR, RPL
@britvahok my family thinks I'm going crazy with all the stuff I'm buying! My sister, who doesn't have kids, says I'm throwing away money everytime we talk and says that all babies need are diapers and some clothing! I was really rude and told her, I wouldn't be buying all this stuff if you hadn't cancelled my baby shower
I think DS is relieved we're having a 2nd boy and another summer baby because we'll be able to reuse most stuff and didn't need to replace much. The only big ticket item was a travel system. We borrowed on from my sister last time and she has an infant so she needs it.
He's mainly concerned about new nipples for the bottles. I keep telling him not to go overboard because there is no guarantee this LO will like the same kind of bottles. It's also annoying because I really want to breastfeed this time and trying to be positive that it might work. I know he's trying to make me feel better and not stress out, but it's discouraging.
His sister is scheduled for a c section 17 days before me and I think he's more concerned about her getting what she needs. She had one shower with her husband's side but got nothing off her registry. The one with our side is this weekend and 9 days before baby. She does have the basics except for bottles but he's really worried she won't have what she needs. It's pretty cute.
Me/ my house. Just can't summon the energy/ urge to get anything done. Baby arrives in something like 4 weeks and we have absolutely no storage space for anything. Still not sure where bottles, cases of diapers, hanging clothes are going to go. Kids will have to share a room at first (3rd bedroom needs major paint/ drywall work). Husband thinks I am crazy again since I am so panicked. I think he forgets how much clothing we actually went through in the newborn stage.
My husband was so grumpy this morning. He's not much of a morning person anyway, and then he had a pay some bill and said the lady was rude. He pulled it together for my doctor appointment this morning before he had to go to work for the most part. I seriously think he doesn't realize how moody he can be, and then gets mad at me if I'm in a bad mood.
My dog. I love him dearly, but this morning he really didn't want to go poop. I stood outside for 30 minutes wait for him to go and all he did was stare back at me like I was crazy! This epic stare battle made me leave the house late and almost made me late for work.
Sounds like potty training a toddler to me

DH and I are the TWs. We've been keeping DD up late for Independence Day activities which means she's not been getting as much sleep at night (she wakes up at the same time in the morning regardless). Well, I knew she'd need a nap today. She's taking a four hour nap! That's insane! And now we are going to pay for it tonight when she won't go to bed. We'd go to some fireworks but it's currently storming

My freaking cats have been waking me up starting at 6am every morning for the last few days and completely leave my husband alone. And if I lock them out of the room then they paw at the door or even worse, go into the kids rooms and wake them up. The worst.
@OTmom3 cats are evil geniuses. They know how to get what they want! When I had a cat (RIP Boris), he knew how to convince my dog into giving him his food and giving up his dog bed.
@mrsmatt1212@secicc12 DH is like @littlebug2010 husband. He wants to buy everything... Not only this, he wants everything very expensive. It makes me crazy.
@lewliv DH has slowed down a bit now, but for a long time he was ready to get everything! I think I was only like 25 weeks, and he panicked that baby would be there any day. I thought it was really cute.

Mommy to a super cute havanesse puppy and baby boy!
We just had our shower this weekend and it was great, but there is still a bunch on our list we need to get, so i spent part of the day going through target, amazon and babies r us sites to price compare the must haves.
DH is cranky about it bc he is still job hunting and spending money was not in his plan. Um you still job hunting wasn't in the plan either, but we got no diapers, no bottles, changing pad, pack n play sheets...there is stuff we still need, not want, NEED.
I let go of ordering the crib and dresser until he has a new job and it makes me so sad to not have her room ready. Only reason I ordered the glider was bc I got a new hire referral bonus at work. So glad bc I love the glider.

My gallbladder is the biggest twat. I have had two attacks since Saturday and I went to L&D tonight for help. I was there for 6 hours and in so much pain. I finally got an ultrasound that concluded it was gallstones. Nothing much I can do as of now except alter my diet.
This acid reflux, which just woke me from a deep sleep. Waking up choking on reflux at 4AM, then proceeding to vomit because of it and peeing on myself in the process was EXACTLY how I wanted to start the day!
God bless my sweet husband for being quick to grab a trashcan before before I even realized what was happening. Didn't even flinch when it got on us hand. There is a reason I married him!
Im not so sure we aren't related? We seem to have very similar health problems.
I spent my whole first pregnancy (and many years before that too) in excruciating pain from gall bladder attack. Had it out in Oct. Best decision ever.
So sorry you are feeling so badly. It's awwwwwful not being able to get relief.
All my neighbors that were up shooting fireworks until 2 am.
I'm all for fireworks if you're far enough away not to bother others. We live as close to downtown as you can really. Oh AND it's illegal in MN (but law enforcement doesn't care unless you're being super reckless) But my elderly dog was freaking out all night, my two year old kept getting woke up from a dead sleep crying and I had to be up for work at 4 am. Yes, some of us work on the 4th.

Shoot. Maybe we are!!
The pain was excruciating at it was my 4th attack this pregnancy. I wasn't messing around and told DH we were going to the hospital. The pain was also raising my BP so I was worried they were going to induce or do an ECS. Once the painnsubsided so did the BP.
@AdvoCyndi30 the acid reflux was me Saturday around 1am! It was the worst because I dreamed I was puking and then woke up choking on actual puke unable to sit up or roll over (I was sleeping on my back for god knows what reason) and my flopping woke DH up who, in his half asleep state, rolled me onto my side so I could make it to the bathroom. He doesn't remember any of it.
my BF/twat are my lower back and the soles of my feet. Both hurt insane amounts lately and I'm thinking I'm going to have to go on leave for my job sooner than planned. Hoping I can at least make it to the end of the month!
My twat is the car seat inspector that felt the need to lecture me about the 2 pens that happened to be on the floor of the car. I rarely have anything on the floor and they were only there because I was moving stuff around while the car seat was installed!
