Too Unique?

I'm definitely a fan of more unique names, but ones that are spelled correctly and are just less popular (I guess?). I also tend to get a little more unique in the middle name area.

So, with that being said, is a name like Winona Moulin waaay too unique or is it kind of refreshing?

No baby here yet, just name curious for the future.

    Winona is nice and underused.

    I don't understand the point of Moulin unless it is a family name? Otherwise it is too cabaret-ish.

    I like Winona nn Winnie.  I don't like Moulin and wouldn't use it unless it is your maiden name or some special significance

    Winona is nice.

    I assume that you know that moulin is French for mill. Unless it's a family surname or she is/will be conceived in a mill and you want to whole world to know that, I'd go with something else.

    Winona = NMS, but it's a completely acceptable name and not too "out there."
    High School English teacher and mom of 2 kids:

    DD, born 9/06/00 -- 12th grade
    DS, born 8/25/04 -- 7th grade

    Winona is fine, NMS I just always think of Winona Ryder and shoplifting.

    Moulin is pretty out there and considering that it's a burlesque show in Paris I wouldn't do that tiny daughter.

    It's your baby, name her/him what you like if the child doesn't like it they will change it when they are older.
