It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

Re: Weekly Randoms 6/26-7/2
TTC since August 2018
I now get to spend the day cleaning and organizing our stuff because our weekend is scheduled with events and we're supposed to leave Monday.
TTC since August 2018
I have the day off today and my DS made his nose bleed because he can't keep his fingers out. So he goes to wash his hands at the kitchen sink to get the blood off and falls backwards off the chair and hits his head on the drawer knob and now he's super whiny. He wants carrots and black olives and of course we're out of both. I gave him some asprin so hopefully he'll take a good nap in about an hour and be back to his normal self.
And maybe a tummy tuck depending on what my excess skin situation looks like
What's funny is that the Maltese is "my" dog.

I started watching Call the Midwife last night and watched two episodes. In the second one, a woman need a c-section which would have been impossible for her since she was very very poor. The doctor working with her launched into how thanks to the NHS, she could now get a c-section at no cost to her, and the baby would be totally fine, and wasn't this all grand.
It made me laugh because it sounded like a NHS advertisement and England was waaaay ahead of the US in THE FIFTIES. And we're still over here like hi, health insurance is hard.
I need some advice. I am supposed to stop by my husband's office today for a retirement party for the office manager. We've known her for over 10 yrs and she's kind of like a grandma to all of the younger guys and since DH and I work at the same place she's always been super sweet and kind to me. She is obsessed with me being pregnant, in a positive way and loves seeing my little bump and really wants to see me today before she leaves (she's asked DH today if I could stop over). I just found out that DHs co worker who was also pregnant lost her LO recently. I don't want to causes her any discomfort or to be upset as I know this must be a very very hard time for her. I am afraid if she sees my obvious bump it'll upset her. I want to be sensitive to her and also make sure I say my goodbyes to the office manager. Unfortunately I can't go over after prime hours because we are leaving early today for an appt. I am not sure what to do as I want to be sensitive to everyone. Any advice? Thoughts? I thought perhaps I could just pop in quietly...not sure how possible that will be as his whole office will likely see me and comment or ask about the baby. I feel terrible.
