Re: Fitness Friday

  •  Totally get the disappointment. So awesome that you are focussed on doing everything to keep your baby safe ! :)
Well...when you have low egg reserve, one tube, had a MC which you tried for for 3 years to get that bfp, and are on infertility meds...
And get the honor of being pregnant again
Yep I'm going to do what I'm told.
This is it for us, if this doesn't work out then my body's done.:)

  • @Zoey1019 I'll check out bitzhfit, it sounds interesting :dizzy:

@eggplantface Oh yeah, I am waiting for these first few weeks to pass by as well. It'll be great to feel more like myself again - now sometimes I am out of breath and taxed by just walking up the stairs :P :)

@Chawk17 Oh, I'm so sorry. It can be so difficult to "lay back and relax" when you are used to working our regulary. FX these 3 weeks will go by fast(ish). I didn't do any workouts for 2 weeks (and a little bit more) til my forst doctors visit. And ever since then it is still a mild excercise I do. Try to find your inner peace with it, focus on the amazing changes that are happening inside - at least that's what I try to do, but I hear you, loud and clear. Hugs.

@JandJ62914 OMG a maternity program on Beachbody??? I MUST check it out :D

That pregnancy one on BOD is quite boring. I couldn't even do it for my last pregnancy. This time around I would like to stay more active with exercise like doing PiYo. Last pregnancy i just worked alot and my job was very fast paced so I was too tired to workout.

You ladies are amazing!! With my first pregnancy, even walking felt like a milk jug was hanging from the underside of my belly. I was in constant pain and regret not working out.

Now, I teach water aerobics and am feeling so good about that! I lost 26lbs doing it so it's truly the workout for me.

I do it 3x a week and I think I can maintain that for a good bit.
Wow, I sure wish water aerobics was an option for me as it sounds like the perfect pregnancy workout but I can't do anything that the kids can't be with me
That's a bummer! I go to LA Fitness. They have a wonderful daycare program but I also live in a well populated area with a lot of options.

But yes! Bouncing around in the water is AMAZING! I feel no symptoms in the water, except for shortness of breath for the first 20 min or so but it has been so nice to flow in the water like that.

Hope you find something kid friendly!!
