@adirat Our RE's place is small and I love the staff, but, yeah, I share your preference and we would be very much done with her if another one was closer. Just not a lot of options where we live because it's so rural--there are, however, tons of fertility naturopaths and acupuncturists here. I guess that's NorCal for you.
Congrats on sex and being off the bench! Care to share more about this new high tech stuff you might do?
@antoto EEEEEEEE!!!!!! I am so excited for your FET! Fx we both get KU this cycle and then we can move onto BMB boards together (I have visions of joining BMBs with people I like)
@lund lollll. I am glad you guys found the sweet pudding spot
@vflux33 that is so weird that your RE is anti-info and also really sad. Mine calls me after any testing with results and while they won't email numbers (for HIPAA reasons), they happily tell me numbers over the phone. Its so frustrating when doctors aren't good at communication because it makes patients diminish their trust when they are not open.
@adirat yay for banging time!!!!! And how cool that they just came out with a new study!
I have been listening to Beat Infertility podcasts recently....not sure why I hadn't before... but I did find a few that I thought were really true to me and most people. "How to become interested in sex again" because lets face it, even if you're still doing it, it definitely isn't the same as it used to be. And then just a few others about embryo grading, fresh vs frozen, and one about taking a break from treatment. I did listen to some on MFI, unfortunately, our situation is almost always worse than the stories I hear about most other MFI so that often just makes me feel hopeless. But I like that they are around a half hour. We listened to them on our drive back from NC and when MH and I switched diving, I asked him what he learned from them and he was actually able to list a few things which I was impressed because I would have sworn he wasn't listening at all.
Update on the cup, he is on the search with his local docs and calling the lab where he always gets his endo BW from to see if he can snag one from there.
After dark question-who recommended the we vibe? @kiki75 or @kiwi2628 either of you? It was MH's father's day gift (father to my dogs of course)

@sailing_mama@vflux33 I don't know much about it yet actually. The RE mentioned it to me late last week and told me we should think about it a little more and make a decision when we're ready. I found the paper he mentioned, and it describes an agonist protocol. I tried googling what agonist protocols are yet I still don't really get it (so many medical words I couldn't follow). So I'm not sure? He also told me to talk to the genetic counselor at the PGD place to see if there's something we can do to improve our precision with PGD for my condition. I am going to start there before learning more about IVF.
We are not jumping right into IVF...we can't afford it right now (though we've started saving) and I'm pretty terrified of giving myself injections, going through all the side effects, etc. (I am frankly terrified of the whole thing and am in awe of you ladies doing IVF.) But it's back on the table in a way we hadn't really considered before which is good. I just want to gather all the info I can so we can decide what makes the most sense for us.
@juneroseruby I'm interested in the podcast you recommended. I hear people mention it periodically and maybe it's time for me to dive in. I'm sorry that your dx is worse than they cover though
@adirat I think you'll approve. It is questions that are answered by docs that work with and have struggled through IF. And everyone on the show has had some hella IF struggles, so I feel like they get it.

@adirat If you want, you post a link to the article. I may be able to get some of the medical terms (dogs and cats are legit the same as people most of the time)
@adirat Woo hoo!! So glad that you are off the bench!!! I have been thinking about you and was going to PM you, but here you are. After everything you've been through, I'm relieved to hear that you have a green light!!!
Me: 45 OH: 42 Beloved SS: born 12/2011 TTC my bio #1/our #2 since January 2016 **TW** June 2016 had CP **end TW** August 2016 - dx with DOR Somewhere in here received recommendation to do IVF with donor eggs, elected not to; OH dx with Low T May 2017 - began freezing sperm June 2017 - OH began treatment for Low T July 2017 - began doing 1 IUI via a midwife and 1 at home insemination each cycle http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/6259ba July 2018 - exhausted frozen sperm, officially NTNP since OH is probably shooting blanks
<b>Cycle/CD:</b> 25th month / CD23 </div><div> </div><div><b>Status</b> (WTO/TWW/TTA): WFAF</div><div> </div><div><b>What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) </b> Waiting for insurance to kick in... we are <i>this close</i> to having our final decisions so I can actually enroll online. I am thinking the legal plan might be worth it. DH is thinking notsomuch. FFS!!! Lol
</div><div><b>How are things going? </b>You guys, I am exhausted. I want to really sit and read everyone's things, but I apologize I can only skim right now whilst quietly rooting for everyone. 1. Working at an actual jobbie-job is seriously cramping my bump-time.... 2. I am actually supposed to be working in the home office right now, and 3. I am just so emotionally spent. Counting down the days to DH's procedure (31) and my testing cycle begins too with July's period. FF is predicting CD1 Friday, and that's the last one prior to testing!!! I feel like I have been waiting in the wings for <b>so long</b>... I don't even know what it will feel like to finally move forward again - for ONCE! in our ttc journey actually!
But Caremark was amazing!! She actually said if I call back with a protocol she can tell me our expected oop cost for meds even though my policy isn't active yet! So I may be hearing back a sample hyporhetical protocol from the doctor soon.... maybe? I haven't done the other testing yet so it's still anyone's guess, but I am so glad everyone seems so eager to help. :)</div> <b>Any questions? </b>Uhmmm... are we there yet???
<b>GTKY: </b> Ughh. I've been thinking about this a lot lately, since starting up at the bank, and things with DHs/ our business feeling so uncertain... I guess we'll all find out if I ever get enough warnings to break out the ole AE... ;)
@BertieMeetsGertie Sorry you find yourself here. I kind of wish I had been keeping a vials of blood tally on this. Start now! I do keep a puppy piddle pad tally. Current count is 8.
@zwink1 Maybe all of the factors have lined up for delayed O? If your sleep is crap + a job change, it would seem to make sense.
@RVAmom315 Welcome. I'm sorry you're at this point.
@TravelingCouple You have lots of days until the 4th. Have faith! They have me home test in two weeks. I'm actually glad they don't do betas without a + home test because it's a pain to get there and I wouldn't be keen on it if I already knew I was out. FX your ovaries get their follicles in the game.
@Sailing_Mama I hope your appointment goes well and you can get things moving.
@JuneRoseRuby I remember when I would see people who would say they didn't remember what cycle and I was confused. Now I'm not at all. I'm just glad I started a list that I can refer back to. Haha. It wasn't me who recommended the we vibe. But I will have to Google it!
@antoto I'm so glad you're able to skip the BCP. I hope that they get everything straightened out with the paperwork.
@lund I'm glad YH is getting better at getting into the FW business.
@Redpuma119 My prolactin wasn't actually high enough to really suggest that an MRI was necessary. *TW* It was only 37 during the CP and 27 fasting after my period started. It's from some double vision that I have that I had kind of thought was normal. This is my first one. FWIW, I did have a retest and for me at least, the Cabergoline is working.
@magnolia131 I'm sorry you have that reaction to the trigger. Hopefully there isn't another time but if there is, maybe you could ask them about a different trigger that might not make you feel that way?
@shortstack930 I'm glad you caught that about your CD for the US. I feel like I've learned a lot about not being shy about managing my own care from this.
@vflux33 Uh, I hope that someone talks to your RE nicely and helps her see the light. When so much is out of my control, it really helps me to have data and numbers and stuff that I can log and track and whatever. Will knowing that I had a 22mm follicle on the left make anymore more or less KU? Nope. But it certainly reduces my stress level to have some control, even if it's just for pretend. One of the things that I love about my office is that there's a separate monitor for me to watch and that they tell me all the things. They also send all of my results to the my online thing so I can login at any time and print any of them out.
@adirat I could just hug whomever wrote that paper! That's really exciting!
@vflux33 I have had wine during injectables and had no side effects - so I say, go for a little wine if it will help you relax! I'm so glad your naturopath is going to run more tests for you. That's great you don't have to switch REs to do it.
@kiki75 I'm glad you're feeling at peace with everything; that's the most we can do really. Good luck with your MRI tomorrow! I'll be thinking of you and hoping for a good scan.
@TravelingCouple Letrozole suppresses estrogen so your estrogen level might still be suppressed from that. Also, FWIW, my estrogen has never been very high on just 2 days of injections. It takes awhile before the follies start popping and my estrogen starts rising. Unrelated, but I'd be in for a private Bump group to keep in touch with all the IF ladies. I love to see people graduate, but it's good to keep in touch.
@kiwi2628 GL this cycle! I hear you - the TWW is hard when you're feeling particularly hopeful.
@JuneRoseRuby Hugs, girl. Still thinking of you. Also, rock paper scissors shoot is how H and I handle most things when neither of us want to do it, but I'm glad YH stepped up without the prompt in this case. :-) That's cool you an H listened to the Beat Infertility podcast together - seems like a good way to feel connected through crappy IF. I'm definitely going to listen to the one about taking a break tomorrow!
@antoto I'm so excited for you to get your calendar!
@lund Have you had low progesterone before? If so, I'd mention that you're nervous about waiting until 8 DPO to your RE and see if they think it would be better to do the B/W at 5 DPO. I'm sure they've had a similar situation before.
@Aurora1973 You have the best memes. I also keep begging the universe "Please let me get what I want". I hope your nephew is able to talk some sense into your lady parts.
@redpuma119 GL with your B/W. I am jealous of your breakfast beer and doughnut.
@magnolia131 Sorry to hear you have bad side effects from the trigger. Besides irritation at the injection site, I haven't had any reaction to trigger shots. What type of trigger do you use? Maybe you could switch? If you triggered this morning, what do you count as O day? I've only triggered at night, but last time I triggered at noon, and I don't know what I should count as O day now.
@shortstack930 Thank goodness you caught the scheduling mistake! FX for you this cycle.
@vflux33@adirat I definitely like to know everything. My clinic is a bit of a factory but they are very forthcoming with information. Sometimes I get a different nurse than my usual though and they don't always show me the screen when they're doing my follie check, which annoys me. I usually just come right out and ask to see and then they'll show me. My clinic puts all my results on the patient portal too, so I have all my B/W and ultrasound information.
@adirat Your RE sounds awesome! Yay for being off the bench! I am also terrified about IVF. I've done injections, and I've even responded enough for IVF before, but the actual procedure scares me. Props to all the IVF ladies here.
@businesswife You're so close to starting now!! Sometimes just waiting takes so much strength and determination.
This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility and it becomes a whole new ball game. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say, and treat this like an ongoing conversation.
Diagnosis (If you've been): NIR PCOS
Cycle/CD: can't remember the cycle # off the top of my head but it's month 17/CD 29
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) letrozole + Gonal-F + estrogen + trigger + TI + progesterone
How are things going? I've definitely had better days. Right now, I know I need to focus on getting healthier mentally and physically because I feel pretty drained so I've just been trying to plan out how I'm going to reach and make my life better. Pregnancy test is on Wednesday. Of course I really want it to be positive, but I'm not feeling very hopeful. I've been spotting for the past 6 days.
Any questions?
GTKY: Like @shortstack930, I'd probably go with something book related.
Dropping in to say hi but comments will have to wait until later in the week. I am so busy at work and my second job really picks up so like @BusinessWife work is totally getting in the way of my bump time!
I'm here because I'm having a moment and need my IVF girls...so ER last Wednesday and had spotting for a couple days. Nothing Sat/Sun and today spotting that is heavier but still nothing crazy. I'm supposed to call with CD1...could this be it? 5 days after ER? Could my FET cycle actually be starting? What should I be doing...supplements...diet? I'll add acupuncture back in next week when it isn't as crazy. Like this could be it....this could be my cycle...I want to try to not fuck it up.
@madspunk I've gotten a lot of them back already. Everything looks fine to me but of course I'm not entirely sure. I don't know if my gyn ordered an AMH (I hope she did!) but I haven't seen that yet. I'll give it to the end of the week before I message her about it.
Me: 31 DH: 32 Dating since: 11/17/2001 Married: 9/26/2009 TTC: June 2016
@leekat14 you can definitely start start cd 1 that soon! I'm CD2 so if you're CD1 today we are definitely going to be transfer twins! But if your flow doesn't really get going maybe call your RE office and ask what they think?
@antoto OMG we will see!!!! I made an appointment for Wednesday morning but I'm really thinking of calling today CD1... What things are you doing to help make this successful??? I haven't been feeling well enough to workout at all so I'm still feeling the ER bloat.
@kiwi2628 I'll have my FXed for you! Sky high hopes are okay, but you're right it does suck if it crashes.
@lund ugh, seriously, trying to hit that moving target is Such a PITA. My H is the same way, even now, he still doesn't like to know when its showtime.
@Redpuma119 ugh, I wish I could stop. Maybe I'll work on it. My cycles are super irregular and with H's issue we have so much to coordinate to make a cycle worthwhile that I think I almost stress more when I don't temp! I thought I would enjoy the last two cycles more than I did.
@BusinessWife I'm so excited for you to get things going after so long!
@madspunk I'm sorry about the spotting. Getting in the right headspace is such a challenge, I imagine, for all of us.
@TravelingCouple Cool! PM me anything I need to know. I've never moderated stuff on TB, but I can learn
And I triggered! And it wasn't that bad! I, like, barely felt it. I have no doubt now that MH is the shot-administrator of the 2 of us. Just seeing him deal with the mixing of the powder and water with the bigger syringe and knowing that he actually understands science made me realize that was the right choice b/c I would have been shaky AF and done it wrong.
Yay for triggering @vflux33 that needle is scary but not too painful to actually poke. You might feel it tomorrow morning when you get out of bed though. My glute was definitely a little sore.
@leekat14 Hmmmm I already eat well, although I have actually had to decrease my work out schedule. I'm slowly upping it again now that I'm done with the ER, but I'm not going to push my body too hard. I don't want to stress my body out. So I would suggest gentle exercise. I've been careful to keep taking my multi vitamin. Other than basic stuff like that for your health I think the biggest thing is going to be keeping your mental health in a good place. What stressors can you eliminate? How can things be easier on you? Maybe talk to your H about what he can do to help with this? Part of this is definitely making sure you get a solid night sleep. I have a few audio meditations I listen to if I'm feeling restless at night. You might also want to limit screen time immediately before bed.
Cycle/CD: I think were going to call this CD1. I had major cramps yesterday and some spotting which is really unusual for me but not enough to count.
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): FET cycle.
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Hopefully transferring in a few short weeks!
How are things going? Just the usual AF complaints. I am cautiously excited for the FET. It makes me nervous that nothing else has worked so far but I am trying to focus on the positive.
Any questions?
GTKY: If you had to pick a new screen name, what would it be and why? I have considered changing it since the bump gods told me I was given a -2 because of duplicates. I am still fighting them on this. Haven't settled on anything new though.
I am late to the game so sorry if I did not get to you... sending hugs to everyone who needs it today!!
@kiki75 GL at your MRI sending you lots of good thoughts! @BertieMeetsGertie Welcome friend! I hope your testing goes by quick and you get some answers to formulate a plan! @zwink1 Yay I know how long you have been waiting for your H to finish his part of the testing. I am happy for you! @RVAmom315 I hope your HSG goes smoothly! @JuneRoseRuby Nice to see you back. The 26th will be here before you know it! Hoping for good results!! @antoto I will not start Estrace until later this week so I will let you know. Excited for you! @Redpuma119 you are my idol with that dodo and beer for breakfast! @magnolia131 I don't recall any side effects from the trigger but I definitely experienced side effects to the other drugs so it is certainly possible. I hope they pass soon for you. @adirat I am excited for you to have sex again woot woot!!! That is such a weird thing to say but I am haha! I am glad you are taking time away from doctors - they will be there when you are ready. @BusinessWife You are almost there! Happy to hear the job is going well. @madspunk I will be thinking about you tomorrow. Everything is crossed for you! @leekat14 For this cycle, I am trying to exercise more since I had to take a major break with my ER. I am also going to try pom juice since it is supposed to help thicken your lining and I figure it can't hurt. Other than that, maybe a massage and try to reduce stress leading up to the transfer. If you have any doubt on which day to call CD1 I might give your doc a call. @vflux33 Yayy glad it is done and wasn't too painful!
Thanks @saralee797-2 so excited for transfer prep!!! Omg!!!
@kiki75. GL today (((hugs))) youll do fine ;)
@TravelingCouple thanks - you're right! Surreal is the word... I dunno why it feels so heavy today tho, maybe pms? Lol but like so much is going to change. For better or worse. Either we get good news and we move forward and do all the things... or it's not good news and I really have no idea -- but the bubble of hope we've been living in would burst and just ughhhh.... idk
@madspunk. @adirat. Thank you ladies!!! ❤ I dunno what's wrong with me. Why I just feel so sad, so tired - after all we've been through for so long, to be this close to hopefully crossing the finish-line and to just feel so utterly exhausted. I probably need more sleep lol. But for now okay if I let you be excited for me??? ;) hopefully my brain will catch up soon...
@saralee797-2 They actually told you that about your SN? I call BS. It happened to BumpCaitlin, for crying out loud. It happened to about a bazillion of us all at once. There's no way there were that many duplicates. If that's true, certainly they could send you a link to the other profile.
Me: 34 DH: 38 Married: June 2011 TTC since Feb 2016 BFP#1: 7/7/16 MMC: 8/16/16 BFP#2: 5/8/17 - CP BFP#3: 6/27/17 EDD: 3/10/18
@BusinessWife It's been a long road - I think it's normal to be exhausted. Just don't let it get you down... but in the meanwhile, we'll all be here, excited for you
@vflux33 Yay for triggering! Glad it wasn't too bad for you
@saralee797-2 That's so exciting that you are going to be transferring soon! I'm keeping everything crossed that this works for you
@BusinessWife I will be happy to carry that hope for you. Your reaction is perfectly reasonable. You've gone through so many months of disappointment and a diagnosis that is frankly devastating. Your natural inclination now is to protect yourself. Do that, if that's what feels right, and we will carry you
@JuneRoseRuby I listened to the first episode last night where she talks about her story including her second tri loss. Holy waterworks Batman. I bawled for like seven minutes of the 10 minute episode (as I washed dishes...) Did you listen to every episode or just those relevant to your dx?
@magnolia131 ugh, sorry the trigger gives you an upset stomach! That really does complicate TI. For whatever reason I also had an upset stomach during my most fertile days this cycle. That is some super fun (and dicey) BD
@Aurora1973 Oh man! How exciting that you're 3DPO! I forget, was this your first attempt with the home IUI? And, when do plan to test?
@Redpuma119 I know the feeling about wishing you'd started this process sooner. And, donuts and beer for breakfast sounds divine!
@shortstack930 wow I'm glad you caught the scheduling error! It's crazy how many errors we see in IF testing/treatment, which makes me nervous for the rest of the medical community. Most patients aren't as involved/invested in their own care as IF patients, so it makes me wonder how many mistakes are made on a regular basis.
@vflux33 "cum bucket" the first cycle we TTC I sent DH a meeting reminder for a 5 day Hump-a-Thon. Also, it would drive me absolutely crazy if my RE (or any doctor for that matter) wasn't willing to share any and all information about me and my testing. When your RE asked why you need to know the size of your follicles I would've shouted "because I'm f*cking paying you, that's why!!!" Oh, and YAY for triggering!!!
@madspunk do you usually spot before AF? And, to answer your question, my LPs are sort of short (10 days), but my RE didn't seem to think it'd make a difference testing at 8 DPO.
@saralee797-2 girl, sorry for CD1 but HOW EXCITING to be starting the process for FET!!!
Yes to the unicorn!! Loved seeing something so positive today!!
@madspunk You're not out 'til you're out!!! This process is so mentally and physically draining. Hope you can find something that helps with the nerves!
@kiki75 glad the meds are working! My prolactin levels aren't too high from what I've read. The nurse had me panicked!! I hope the MRI went well today and you can get the vision problems sorted out!
@zwink1 Definitley keep temping if it's helping!! I have pretty regular cycles, but if I was irregular I would definitely need to keep doing it!
@saralee797-2 FET!! There are so many women this month! Fingers crossed for every one of you!!
@leekat14 I don't have any experience with that but I have seen the ladies who have mention that AF can show up sooner.
@BusinessWife Your mindset right now is perfectly normal. I'm so excited that you are able to start moving forward. You've been such a huge part of this group for a long time and you always have shown support for everyone. It will be wonderful to be able to offer support in return.
@JuneRoseRuby and @adirat I also listen to beat infertility. Who was it that recommended it?
And i I haven't heard of the We vibe but I'll look at it! For anyone that needs a new toy.. go to liberator.com and check out the wedge ramp combo. We ordered one last year and it has been amazing. They are big pillow-ish things that change the angles just enough. I felt like I was having sex for the first time because of how different everything was.. minus the awkwardness of the first time the covers are super soft and the pillows don't slip off of each other at all. They're kindve big so you need a place to put them. They were in my dsd's room while she was gone and we forgot to move them! She was like, what are these?! So now they're living in the coat closet while we aren't using them. Because no one should open that in this weather
@BertieMeetsGertie and @Sailing_Mama and @rvamom315@kmalls I know it has been said a million times. Welcome with the WIDEST arms but I do not wish you were here at all at all @shortstack930 so happy they are working around your schedule!!! And great catch, good thing you were able to get in touch with them and move things in the correct direction. @adirat that is so true about wanting doctors who explain everything and those that withold, it drives me crazyyyyyyy. When DH did his SAs, the doctor just told him things were "borderline low" and when I demanded the actual NUMBERS, i was looked at like I am the crazy one. So exciting about a new protocol! I love that you have a doctor who stays on top of all the publications. @zwink1 YAY for hubby finally getting his testing done! @kiki75 hope all goes well with the MRI! @kiwi2628 how are you feeling? Those cramps can be terrible @TravelingCouple I am game for a FB group!!!! @JuneRoseRuby You are always in my thoughts. I am so sorry this weekend was hard @antoto Keep on updating us! Hope the tests were done quickly @lund all your euphemisms made me laugh really hard, thank you for bringing humor here! @Redpuma119 that breakfast is everything @magnolia131 FX for the IUI @Aurora1973 I hope your trip goes well and your ute has a serious talk with the baby
Diagnosis (If you've been): let's just call it unexplained. Low AMH and some mild MFI
Cycle/CD: 12/32
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW- I finally cut myself off from daily testing on Sunday morning. Spotting since Sunday night (beta was supposed to be yesterday but I had a BFN SUnday and spotting yesterday, RE said I could wait a couple days but if not full flow by tomorrow to come in for a beta, otherwise make a first appointment for the next cycle), temp under coverline this morning, I just need AF to start so I can move on, this is getting frustrating
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) 50mg Clomid, Ovidrel, IUI
How are things going? I definitely had high hopes this cycle because it was the first IUI, then I had a huge pity party for myself this weekend, but now I am just frustrated about this spotting, I never had it before. I Just want to move on to the next cycle
Any questions? Not really, the spotting is throwing me off because it is unusual for me but I am trying to keep it even keel
GTKY: If you had to pick a new screen name, what would it be and why? I wish I was fun and creative, I'm not. Maybe like a rotation of exercises and alcoholic beverages..... "WillSquatforGin", "WillYogaForMargaritas" that would be cool

@WillRunForWine21 I'm sorry this hasn't been your cycle and that WFAF is preventing you from moving on to treatment cycle #2. Do you know yet what direction you'll be going in next cycle? Another IUI? Different meds or dosages? I know 50 mg Clomid is the lowest possible dose.
@BusinessWife I think it can be really overwhelming to finally move on something that has stood still for so long. Hope is also overwhelming and scary, but I definitely feel it for you, and I hope you'll enjoy feeling it for yourself when you're ready. So glad you get to do all the things
@lund We didn't get to try the IUI with the midwife this cycle because we missed the window for retrieving vials of frozen swimmers from out of state. They now live at the Fort Knox of Sperm (not really what they call it, but it is what I call it, LOL), and we had to do a bunch of paperwork and whatnot to make a withdrawal and missed the shipping window. So we are living on a prayer that OH still has active swimmers, since he started treatment about 10 days before FW. We did manage good timing, at least...-5, -3, -2, and O. We also started the process for next cycle so that it won't happen again!!!
@Sailing_Mama Welcome to you! Sorry I missed you earlier!

@WillRunForWine21 Sorry it looks like this wasn't your cycle - FX the doctor has a good plan for cycle #2
@dragonette505 I'm so so sorry that you're back here AFM, I did acupuncture last night and will see the naturopath tomorrow to kick start AF... apparently it's the same thing (high dose of progesterone for several days, then cut it off to induce AF), except natural instead of synthetic
Re: IF/Testing Weekly Check In 6/19
Congrats on sex and being off the bench! Care to share more about this new high tech stuff you might do?
ETA TB erased half my post
@antoto EEEEEEEE!!!!!! I am so excited for your FET! Fx we both get KU this cycle and then we can move onto BMB boards together (I have visions of joining BMBs with people I like)
@lund lollll. I am glad you guys found the sweet pudding spot
@Redpuma119 omg your breakfast sounds GLORIOUS

:)</div>
<b>Any questions? </b>Uhmmm... are we there yet???
<b>GTKY: </b> Ughh. I've been thinking about this a lot lately, since starting up at the bank, and things with DHs/ our business feeling so uncertain... I guess we'll all find out if I ever get enough warnings to break out the ole AE... ;)
@Redpuma119
@BusinessWife I am counting the days for you!!

@kiki75 I'm glad you're feeling at peace with everything; that's the most we can do really. Good luck with your MRI tomorrow! I'll be thinking of you and hoping for a good scan.
@BertieMeetsGertie Hey there. When will you get your blood results?
@zwink1 FX you get to switch to treatment soon! And happy anniversary!
@RVAmom315 GL with the rest of your testing!
@vflux33 @adirat I definitely like to know everything.
Cycle/CD: can't remember the cycle # off the top of my head but it's month 17/CD 29
Any questions?
GTKY: Like @shortstack930, I'd probably go with something book related.

I'll create the group tomorrow and since @vflux33 offered to co-lead, I'll make you a mod.
@BusinessWife I'm so excited for you to be close to moving forward!!! That must feel so surreal. Yay!
What things are you doing to help make this successful??? I haven't been feeling well enough to workout at all so I'm still feeling the ER bloat.
@magnolia131, thank you!!
@adirat, ugh, exactly! I'm not the most patient person naturally and this whole situation iscreally pushing it. Congrats on being off the bench!!!!!!
@kiki75 If I Oed already, it would actually be a little early for me. I almost always O late, but this whole week of fertile CM is so weird.
@madspunk, thank you!

@saralee797-2 That's so exciting that you are going to be transferring soon! I'm keeping everything crossed that this works for you
@JuneRoseRuby I listened to the first episode last night where she talks about her story including her second tri loss. Holy waterworks Batman. I bawled for like seven minutes of the 10 minute episode (as I washed dishes...) Did you listen to every episode or just those relevant to your dx?
@vflux33 "cum bucket"
@adirat
@businesswife YAY being able to move forward!!!
@madspunk do you usually spot before AF? And, to answer your question, my LPs are sort of short (10 days), but my RE didn't seem to think it'd make a difference testing at 8 DPO.

@vflux33 yay for trigger! And great job H!!
I felt like I was having sex for the first time because of how different everything was.. minus the awkwardness of the first time
@shortstack930 so happy they are working around your schedule!!!
Those cramps can be terrible
@TravelingCouple I am game for a FB group!!!!
@JuneRoseRuby You are always in my thoughts. I am so sorry this weekend was hard
@antoto Keep on updating us! Hope the tests were done quickly
@lund all your euphemisms made me laugh really hard, thank you for bringing humor here!
@Redpuma119 that breakfast is everything
@magnolia131 FX for the IUI
@Aurora1973 I hope your trip goes well and your ute has a serious talk with the baby
Cycle/CD: 12/32
Any questions? Not really, the spotting is throwing me off because it is unusual for me but I am trying to keep it even keel
GTKY: If you had to pick a new screen name, what would it be and why? I wish I was fun and creative, I'm not. Maybe like a rotation of exercises and alcoholic beverages..... "WillSquatforGin", "WillYogaForMargaritas" that would be cool

@saralee797-2 Thinking lots of sticky ute thoughts for you as you prep for your FET!!

GTKY: If you had to pick a new screen name , what would it be and why? I dunno... SparkleSunshineTigerBeast6000? Yeah... that's it.
Lordy.... Now I'm gonna try to catch up with y'all!
BertieMeetsGertie hey hey... I am with you on how surreal it is being at this point.
zwink1 So awesome you are fostering a dog.... I keep wanting to get another animal
RVAmom315 Hey So many of y'all from my WTO and TWW boards! So glad you are getting testing out of the way.
TravelingCouple I wish someone could tell me the future too!! Ugh. GL with this IUI (also: love the idea of the private group)
Sailing_Mama Are you gonna take meds to start AF?
kiwi2628 I love OvaryActing! lolol
JuneRoseRuby Fathers day was incredibly rough for us this year (as was mothers day) So sorry it was painful for you as well (but glad for the girl fight drama... I have a wedding coming up and so hoping we get some of that too!!)
kmalls So sorry for the BFN's... its really one of the worst things ever
antoto Yay for your FET! I didn't really notice any side effects from the estrogen
lund Ive had a few cycles where I tortured DH into daily FW sex... poor thing. That's the one good thing about IVF... he only has to do it once! lol
Aurora1973 Laughing at your golden girls old and sauciness! lol I'm old and spicy so maybe I should call myself OldSpice
Redpuma119 Beer and Doughnuts... breakfast of champions! Such a holiday meal! I'll try it with champers
magnolia131 What did you trigger with> I've only triggered with HCG and always at night so I never notice issues (off to la la land)
shortstack930 OMG that's crazy they mis scheduled your follie check
adirat Glad you are no longer warming the bench! If you end up going the IVF route, I will say after many cycles that it is manageable and in some ways you get a ton more info about whats going on than a natural cycle (which hey, if that works, even better!)
BusinessWife There are times in this process that will drain the life out of us... so sorry this has been such a waiting game... all my fingers and toes are crossed that this is blast off time for you!
madspunk OMG so close to testing! Keeping my hopes up for you!!
leekat14 I would notify your clinic about the spotting... I never had AF so close after ER, but I guess it could be possible?
saralee797-2 So awesome youre transferring! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Okay.... I'm gonna have to catch all the way up in an ongoing fashion!! LOL
I'm a tagging fool today!!
@dragonette505 I'm so so sorry that you're back here
