It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

Re: Monday Bitchfest 6/19/17
Oh what's that you say? You can't tell the difference between vegetable stock and almond milk when you poured it into your cereal this morning either? And you realized DH didn't put a bag in the garbage can until AFTER you dumped the wet cereal in it? Happy Monday. At least I don't have anymore work Mondays until September!

I forgot to mention that someone asked me yesterday if I was "due any day now". It's gonna be a long ride between 18 and 40 weeks I guess...

DS1 is 7. DD is 1. DS2 is coming in late April.
I'm so sorry your DS has to go through that! I finally told my son's bio father off in January and haven't heard from him since. He would call every 3 or 4 months and maybe come see him once a year. I told him that's not fair to DS and it's confusing to him to have somebody he doesn't even really know come waltzing in calling himself daddy when he sees my fiance as his daddy. Trust me, my son is way better off without that man and his issues in his life.
@amber0529 I texted him today and he said he's coming to DS's birthday party this weekend. It's just so frustrating and inconsistent. I do wish he'd either be there or go away. The roller coaster is so hard for a 6yr old.
Edited to add that DS deflects some of his anger for his dad toward SO sometimes but he doesn't understand what he's doing. I know he loves SO, but he's conflicted. He's mad that SO isn't his dad and he's mad that his dad isn't there for him. Luckily SO is very patient and understanding.

Also, why does this LO want me to eat constantly?! Seriously.
Brights side? I'm starting a new job that I'm simultaneously psyched and terrified about, my current employer is offering me COBRA (thank you, Lord!) and I finished a personal project (pinterest) for the first time in forever last night! I always do projects for others and never manage to finish the ones I start for myself so I'm very excited and definitely in the nesting/organizing for baby mode!

October 2016- We became licensed foster parents
November 9, 2016- Arrival of DD#1, 4yo
March 1, 2017- 1 day late, feel like crap (low fever & exhausted) | Mom suggested test before taking meds, I laughed but did it anyway | BFP! *shock*
DH is dad now and he has been her father figure since she was 3, before that my dad was the strong male figure.
FD came home from 3 nights with bioparents. It makes me so sad that she won't have this quality of life anymore. I just finishe'd singing her to sleep because she wouldn't go down for her nap, usually she goes down no problem but she's all out of sorts right now.
