@momma6angels11 I think I will wait friday for my beta. My husband got promoted at work and there's a possibility that we may pcs (move). That is stressing me out cause I have to make sure that the place we move to will have IVF clinic. So we are looking at places for him to request to move to and it is stressing lol. He was supposed retire next year from the military but I guess God has a different plan for us lol.

@momma6angels11 I hear you about passing the time. I work freelance, and work is very slow right now and that makes the wait more difficult. I wish I were busy. I went to see a play (a matinee) today to distract myself, but for part of it I was thinking, "I'm so dizzy, I wonder if that means I'm pregnant." I was disappointed to google later and see that dizziness is a common side effect of Crinone. Boo.
Anyway, I think I'll poas on Monday.

So I’ve got a question: Am I expected to ovulate this month? I was on bcp, had a period, then began estrace pills and patch and start progesterone next week which will be 6 days prior to 6 day transfer. I am wondering because if SO and I do the baby dance, should we be using protection? It seems so perverse to me considering all we have been going thru to make a baby but need to make sure we do the fet right. (I really feel like we screwed up my ER due to a spontaneous session of boot knocking) Maybe I should just be celibate from now on until we get the green light from RE. But what fun would that be?

@i-wanna-b-the-girl-w-most-cake umm I'm not sure. I was on bcp for about 10 days after my period after my egg retrieval. I got another period after stopping bcp and started estrace right away. My dr never mentioned a follicle growing during my FET ultrasounds so I think I was suppressed. Otherwise he would've made me trigger or O on my own before the transfer but it was never brought up.

@nim81 ok i will definitely be awaiting your results! Moving is stressful and i hope u find the perfect place that has a fertility clinic...but im hoping you wont even need one for many years as i hope this fet worked and you can relax..

thucks I do hope that you're hope relaxing and feeling better! No clue about the oils - did you call your RE?
momma6angels11 praying they all make it through and come back to me normal!!
nim81 moving is stressful enough adding IF to it is a lot - good luck with that!
Stairbear I work freelance as well and hate it, especially in my older age

Just another thing to add to the list of worrying! And dizzy could still be good! Not every medication gives everyone the same issue either.
@i-wanna-b-the-girl-w-most-cake u made me laugh as i think about the same thing all the time about knocking boots as well! I dont think its going to be an issue...you're doing a medicated cycle right? And this is me just reading up on it as I still haven't done the FET cause I did fresh previously!

@i-wanna-b-the-girl-w-most-cake I don't believe you ovulate with medicated cycle, but as others have said, always best to ask your RE when in doubt.
@nim81 any idea when the move will be? Moving is a lot of work and definitely stressful, although it might be a nice distraction from IF. I hope you don't need to find a place near a clinic if this cycle works for you

@thucks I also hope that you're hope feeling better! I would imagine those oils are safe to use, but my RE is so strict about checking anything OTC with them before using that I guess it's best to ask first.

@momma6angels11 impressive work with the spreadsheets! I agree the board is a nice way to keep busy.

AFM I am SO TIRED I know it's from the progesterone, but I can't make it through the day with out a nap. I'm a teacher and it's also nearing the end of school year so that might also have something to do with it

@kaseycoco I am the same way. Im exhausted. I went back to work today (I work in retail so walk non stop) and I was winded and had to stop very frequently. Between that and a few random dizzy spells... Ugh. But other than that, just trying to eat healthy and not let the puppy drive me too crazy...

Farm story of the day: our mama snapping turtle came through on her annual egg laying journey and tore up a nice size hole at the entrance to the garden. In about 3 months we will most likely be 'saving' between 5-8 lil baby turtles and walking them to the river

@kaseycoco I'm not sure exactly when the military will move us, and if they do it could be between july to december. It just depends where and when they need to fill a slot. So that is stressing because we own a home and if we do move we have to find a property manager to rent our house.

@thucks I feel you, I was a crying mess after ER, this whole process is such a whirlwind of emotions!

I feel like this is all I think about and it was starting to affect my work. I told my boss I was going through a medical treatment and luckily she was understanding and didn't ask too many questions...I decided not to tell anyone except my immediate family, not too many people can understand what we're going thru... But it gets lonely sometimes. Glad I found this board!

@colette18 Thanks! No rest for me. I have to drive about an hour to get to the fertility clinic, so afterwards I met up with my cousin and took her kids to a large sculpture garden/tropical conservatory, then a splash park. My RE believe walking helps implantation, so we enjoyed a beautiful day outside!

Wow we have been a busy board over night. I do feel better today thank you everyone. The "rash" has gone down and my skin feels better. I've been using just coconut oil on it. I'm still very tired but not all emotional today lol. I tried to go to the dentist this morning but was turned away. I guess it's been to long since I've had xrays and because I am PUPO she can't see me until I have a BFN or 2nd trimester with a note from the OB. I just wanted a cleaning. It's been a while because I can never get an apt before transfer so I just gave up and scheduled this apt and then got my FET schedule. Oh well I'm not having issues just needed it done.

I’m glad you brought this topic up as IVF has also affected my entire life. I spend every waking moment thinking about pregnancy and babies and I’m beginning to dream about it too. It is that deeply embedded in my brain that my subconscious is even affected. With that said, it is affecting my work. I am on phone calls all day and when I listen to my calls I can hear if I’ve had a good or bad week by the way my voice sounds. Not to mention all the days I've had to call in sick due to the retrieval then the transfer and the horrid periods that have followed. And if I had to choose one word to describe this emotional roller coaster it LONELY. Thank God for these boards and everyone on them!!!

colette18 - i-wanna-b-the-girl-w-most-cake it is really lonely and I hate to admit as bad as someone may feel for you if they have never struggled with getting pregnant they just wont get it. (TW) Even some who may have experienced a MC and there are HORROR stories out there for sure, never wish it on anyone. BUT going through one during this process is really a different ball game...not to dismiss their pain by any means its just different. These boards are great. OH has kids so for him I just dont think it really matters, i know hes doing this for me. Hes more then happy to adopt, he loves kids but doesn't have the genetic attachment...he says that now. I discussed about embro adoption of we have some eft over as I feel i've gone to hell and back to get them AND he said absolutely not. He is the only one being a daddy/father to these kids. So I dont know how much I believe him.

Cowboycorgi theres the part of me that i shouldve done that this cycle too! Maybe then my eggs would have a better shot! excited for u!

Feeling crushed already

- Not feeling very hopeful for this cycle and its only Day 2! Have a 4AB which that I'm happy about but 2 - 2AB so thats really not great. Hoping they will perk up tomorrow and get in the game. This is where I even get frustrated with my faith, you can't give me a few days of hope and then crush my spirits. This cycle was torture and its not getting any easier. AND the fact that the icsi one right now is thriving makes me wonder if the other 2 wouldve done better with icsi as well....even though the other icsi egg didn't even fertilize. UGH I'm so annoyed as I dont make a lot of eggs and fertilization really hasn't been our issue.

@i-wanna-b-the-girl-w-most-cake @Hopeful_mom At least we all have each other and we have HOPE. Last year, when I found out my husband had no sperm, we felt hopeless and desperate. The first urologist we saw actually told us we probably had no chance of having biological children, it broke our hearts.

After the initial shock, I started my research and found our current clinic (2 hours away, but worth the drive for the amazing doctors and nurses) Fast forward a year later, countless blood tests, 1 microtese surgery and 1 IVF cycle, we now have 6 embies....so there is definitely a light at the end of the tunnel. "The night is darkest just before the dawn..." but Never lose hope!! I'm here for you and I'm positive that things will go well

colette18 wow that is super hard - i'm SO VERY happy you found help!! Unfortunately I know someone in a similar position that was not as fortunate...he went through surgery and just came up with 1 sperm isn't that crazy and it wasn't a good one. IF sux!! Its such a scary unknown world for sure!

@momma6angels11 Wow 2hr drive for lining check? I have 45 min drive for that and 1 1/2hr drive for transfers and retrievals.

AFM I had some crazy detailed dreams last night. I kept waking up thinking they were real life. The best one was I went in for my Beta check and I convinced the nurse, Dawn (who is the tech at the transfer clinic?) to do an ultrasound and we saw 2 sacs. I was in tears with joy and she let me take video/pics with my phone. I kept telling her we needed to keep the twin thing a secret from DH until I can figure out a way to gently tell him cause he's going to freak out. I was very far along before I broke the news lol. It was crazy.

@hopeful_mom so true! It's def an uncertain world!! That's crazy that they only found 1sperm, our first urologist suggested my hubby do just a blind biopsy, but after researching I found out that the microtese gave a better chance of finding sperm. It is more invasive, but they were able to find a good amount in there! If he had done just a biopsy, they would not have been able to find anything ( the urologist actually tried doing a biopsy before doing the microtese).

Well I have my lining US tomorrow at 8am. I'm a little nervous, hope my ovaries calmed down and all is good. I'll let you all know how it goes!

@thucks yes!! 2hrs for lining check and blood!! Its 3hours and 30 mins for transfer.. i love your dream!! Maybe its a good sign!!
AFM just stopped to get a bite to eat on my way back from my RE and had to get on here!! My lining is a 12 to 13 just where they want it they said..i started crinone gel this morning..not a fan of it so far..lol.. i go back monday for another lining check and blood work.. i decided to book a hotel near re for monday after lining appt then drive the remaining time on tuesday to where transfer will be and stay in a hotel overnight so ill be right there for transfer day!!!!

@momma6angels11 I would do the same this with the hotel. We have discused getting a hotel if we have an early morning transfer. So you basically have to take a day off from work for all you blood work and ultra sounds? That's a great lining.

@momma6angels11 I've been tired, cranky and super bloated/twingy in the ol' womb area. Honestly, I just should have taken the whole week off since work is really difficult to keep calm/not stressed at with everything going on there right now. Then coming home, and all I want to do is rest, but I have a hyper puppy and needy cats. Ugh. I am feeling very much like Super B*tch these days. No sore boobs but they are huge and my dreams are vivid and memorable, nothing that makes me confused thinking it is real, but definitely more detailed and i remember them vividly after waking up.

Sorry I haven't been very active lately, but with working 10 hours everyday and then coming home to housework, by the time I get to sit on the couch, all I want to sleep.

@nim81 So sorry to hear about your beta, but like others have said, keep strong and positive thoughts for the next FET!

@nim81 I'm soo sorry for the negative. I know how hard it is, but FX you will be lucky next cycle.
@cmiller73 that's so cute that you will 'save turtles'! What kind of puppy do you have?My dog is like my lifeline in this IF battle. Are you going to POAS this weekend? I am also super tired and either need to take a nap when I get home from work, or go to bed super early.
@momma6angels11 I'm going to POAS tomorrow morning! I'm nervous about it, but from my crazy internet searching I think that if it worked I should be able to see at least a faint line tomorrow. Eeeeeek! But you must be excited that your transfer is getting close!!
