Anyone else have weird body hair? I suddenly have dark hairs in a trail all the way down my stomach. Normally my body hair that isn't on my legs/pits/lady bits is all light.
@MJDsquared My hair grows a lot faster. I got my eyebrows done and in 3 days it looked like it needed to be done again. The hormones and the prenatals apprarently trigger hair growth.
@anewadventure That's what I keep telling him! TBH he probably would grow this baby for me if he could (until it was time for labor ). Gassy + constipated is the worst.

@ktcakes87 and @anewadventure I'm constipated and gassy too, but last night, my SO kept farting in his sleep and the fan blows it right to me! Oh and of course my nose is extra sensitive now too. I actually woke him and told him to stop farting or I was moving the fan .
@jlemons-2 That makes me feel better! @YodaIsGreen It must be hormones for me, because I took a prenatal for the year we were trying and didn't notice anything!
I almost fainted at a meeting this morning. I started to get really hot so I excused myself to go to the bathroom. When I got there my whole body was sweating so I wiped my neck and went back out. About 5 mins later, I started losing sight and had to sit down. I regained my sight about a minute later and had some water and was fine. I'm 14 weeks and I've been reading dizziness and some of these symptoms are normal but had anyone else experienced this? It was still so scary and I'm hoping it doesn't happen again. I also had two waffles and orange juice right before the meeting so it wasn't anything to do with having an empty stomach.
@marisaloughney I've had this too. Usually it's from getting up too fast or standing for too long. Could also be from dehydration. If it continues happening I'd check with your dr just in case your blood pressure is low or something else is going on.
@mcfeldbb i think it was from standing too long. We were standing in one place for quite awhile (in heels!) while on a tour and that's when it started. I'm also trying to remember if I locked my legs at all cause I know that can lead to fainting as well.
@mrsorigami it definitely wasn't fun! I'm hoping sitting at my desk the rest of the day should do the trick
@marisaloughney I had my first dizzy spell Tuesday and they're no fun! Mine seemed to be from waiting too long to eat after I woke up - so, low blood sugar. I had gotten ready, picked up breakfast, drove to work and bumped for a bit before I realized I should eat. Bad move. It was really scary but once I ate my breakfast sandwich and sipped all of my chocolate milk I felt way better. So I learned I need to prioritize eating breakfast, and keep carby snacks, hard candies, and fruit around to try to stave this off. And no matter what remember to take deep breaths!

@vvitchhazel that's awful! I wish the symptoms were better for you! Fingers crossed that ONE DAY it lets up! I am right there with you on the pain though. I feel this is only going to get worse!
@Marley629@brittabatwhite and other headache sufferers: I have not had this symptom, but my cousin got really bad migraines/headaches while pregnant and even though she drank a lot of water, it seemed to be triggered by dehydration. She started drinking pedialyte when she had one and they went away. Maybe gatorade would work too? Worth a shot!

headache sufferers, i second the extra fluids. i also highly recommend acupuncture. i tried it this time around for nausea (not much luck with that) but it has been AWESOME for my headaches. just communicate with your practitioner about what exactly you are having problems with.
try to find a community-supported acupuncture practice so you can try it for cheap. i thought it sounded sort of woo-woo but when you feel like shit you get desperate, right?

The headaches have been unmanageable. I am on Fioricet, but it only works about half the time. I had two days this week that I could hardly function and just slept. I am going to try the pedialyte, I have been drinking water, but maybe that will be better.
Today I had bad cramping, like uncomfortable period cramps in both my uterus and lower back. I almost went to the ER. I took some Tylenol, drank a bunch of water, and it's going away. Anyone else have this or speak to their doctor? I know cramping is normal but this really scared me.

@ameliabedelia-2 I've had period like cramping before, which I understand is because my uterus is stretching. Nothing that would make me concerned enough to go to the emergency room. If you're still worried, it wouldn't hurt to call your advice nurse/doctors office to see what they think. I'm glad it's going away, and I hope you're feeling way better.
@ameliabedelia-2I've had pretty bad cramping and low back pain that made me tear up a little, but I have stage 4 endometriosis and my uterus is stuck to my bladder and bowels so I figured I would have cramping a little worse than others. However, I'm not afraid of being the panicky pregnant lady so if I were worried, I'd call my doctor. Since I had no bleeding, I didn't worry about it. I'm 14 weeks today and it happened about a week or so ago.
Thanks guys. I am feeling much better now. I drank a ton of water and napped/stayed in bed all day. I think I overdid it this week and my body was telling me slow down. I definitely would have gone to the ER had it not started to subside.

I've definitely been having a lot of cramping and discomfort as well. I think we're just at the point where growth is rapid and our bodies are trying to adjust.
And ditto on the cm. I feel freaking gross.
