@dogs-and-diapers fellow central Wisconsinite here and also dog-mom of two boys, a Newfoundland named Murphy and beagle named Boomer! Congrats on your first pregnancy!
I have had 5 miscarriages, with our Rainbow baby born Feb 26th at 5 1/2 weeks early. He is almost 16 months and doing wonderful. I am pregnant again and due somewhere around January 18th. This time around is very different from the past. I have the worst morning sickness I've ever experienced, but it's going to be worth it! I have to take progesterone until my levels look better and have been on thyroid medication for years due to the removal of it in 2012. We are super excited to see baby at our ultrasound June 13th. Is there a cheat sheet on the lingo for these boards? I've guessed some of them but not all.
Hi guys! I'm going to go ahead and intro, though I might be part of F18. Got my BFP last sunday and I'm not 100% sure about my last period date so I've estimated around January 29th as due date, first ultrasound is scheduled for the 23rd and I hate the waiting!
I miscarried last February 18th at 12 weeks, but baby stopped growing around 9.5 weeks. I have a DS who is 2.5 years old and o was apart of D14 with his pregnancy here on TB and TCF❤
I'm Amanda, 34 years old and FTM. My husband and I have been married since November 2016 and I went off BC right after the honeymoon and figured we would let this happen whenever it was meant to happen. As a very avid runner (75-80 miles a week) I honestly did not think it would happen so quickly. Unfortunately, I had a chemical pregnancy in January (I probably would have never known I was even pregnant but as a runner I was really in tune with my body and knew something was really off. Even though I was having what I thought was a long first period back off BC, I took a test and found out I was pregnant). One normal period after that and then I got my BFP on April 20th!
Im now 10 weeks 2 days and just had my blood taken this morning for the Informaseq testing. My first appointment with ultrasound was May 30th. I think that's when it finally hit me because then I actually saw that little jelly bean in there with a strong heartbeat! EDD is January 2nd!
My name is Nicole. I'm excited about having a baby and starting a family. I have no idea what all of your abbreviations mean. We're due January 16! Today was the first ultrasound and appointment. DH is super excited and emotional and I am mostly tired. This is the first one.
@nicolasaur welcome and congrats! If you check out the "Read this First!" organization thread, you'll find a link to what most of the abbreviations stand for.

Hello, fellow bumpers! I'm 37 and a FTM. I'm about 6 weeks (?)...have my first ultrasound on 6/14 and couldn't be more excited! My prospective due date is January 26th. I just moved in with my BF and his two girls (ages 6 &4) a few months ago, and I have such a beautiful relationship with them! My guy is amazingly supportive and excited about our new addition, and we know the girls will be, as well! Thanks in advance for the support I know I will find on here...I am definitely nervous because I am high-risk due to a lot of health issues and my age, but I am keeping a positive attitude. I hope you are all doign well and I look forward to chatting with you! Best, Laureen
Hey all!! FTM and first pregnancy here, I'm 27 years old and my fiance is 23. We are so excited and surprised to get our bfp on may 25th. We had thought he had some infertility issues, but after only a few months of trying and some really bad baby fever, we got it! My estimated due date is 1/30. I am nervous to hear a heartbeat at our first ultrasound on the 15th, only a week away !! The statistics this early are killing me, I just want this to be real and I don't think it's going to really hit me until I see a growing baby. I am so happy to finally have this experience to go through with you all!
I'm a FTM and we got our BFP on May 7. EDD is January 17. Had two ultrasounds so far and heard a strong heart beat on Tuesday. Excited for this journey!
Hi everyone, I'm officially joining you all on this journey. I got my bfp on May 18th and I'm due Jan 29th. This would make me a STM I have a 9 month old baby girl so I'm in for a lot of work lol
Hi January Moms! I feel so blessed to be here! I'm a FTM at 42yo. I married my DH 8mos ago and now have a 21yo DSD and a 22yo DSS. My DH always said he was done having kids which broke my heart, but due to my age, I didn't fight it. Then, two months ago he sat me down to tell me he wanted to TTC, and now here I am like a dream come true!
According to my LMP I count that I am 8wks and a few days but I am measuring 8 -10 days behind. The Dr & US tech don't feel worried since there was a lot of growth and a little flicker of a heartbeat but I am nervous. Hoping and praying for this little miracle! This is what I always wanted.❤️❤️❤️
@babybakie welcome and congrats! LMP is notoriously unreliable, most people don't have perfect 28 day cycles with ovulation on exactly day 14, which is what LMP assumes. So if your Dr. isn't worried, and especially since you've seen the heartbeat (yay!), I think you probably just ovulated later than a LMP would assume. Did your Dr. change your due date or is s/he still using your LMP? Early ultrasounds are very reliable for dating, so due dates often can change (my due date has been changed with all three pregnancies b/c I have longer cycles).

@KatieEl ! Congrats to you too! I have seen some of your other posts, you are a wonderful contributor to the group! Thank you. You really made me feel better! They gave me the EDD of 01/24/18 based on size at my last US appointment, my prior appointment they didn't see a fetal pole yet. My cycles run 26 days, and I did get a BFP on the first day of my LMP so I really thought I was on point with my EDD of 01/15. You are probably right I shouldn't worry. Its so hard. I have always dreamed of being a mommy!
I just want to add I love reading all these great stories and insights. I am still getting the hang of posting and stuff, but I am really excited to have found this place and to be a part of it! I wish every one here a very happy healthy beautiful pregnancy!!
I have never been on this forum before so please be nice to me. I'm 34 years old, and a FTM, we tried for 3 full years before we were referred to a fertility specialist, and then somehow we magically conceived naturally the cycle before we were due to start Clomid! I'm going to have a high risk pregnancy, because I have some medical problems in my history, so I'm pretty nervous. About everything.
I had my dating scan on the 7th, and we had a beautiful picture with a strong heartbeat and little doubt that we are due 1/22/18! Which makes me 8 weeks today!
*Also, I am auntie to 6! Two little girls and 4 not-so-little boys.
Hello! I'm Taylor and this was a HUGE suprise, I'm 41 and my oldest just turned 21! My other two are 14 and 12 from a previous marriage. I've been a basket case, mainly because of my age and I was SO sick with my last two. I get waves of nausea most days but not the 24/7 I was used to before. I'm 9 weeks, due January 14! Looking forward to this journey with you ladies!
Hi all! I am new to posting but not new to obsessively scrolling through posts lol. I am a FTM and my EDD is January 1. We concieved directly after a miscarriage so it was a surprise and a huge blessing. Also, I have HG which has been super difficult while working full time. But super excited to be joining y'all!
Hi Everbody! I am happy to have found you all! The other forums I was watching did not feel like a great fit for me.
A bit about me... I am a FTM, currently 29 will be 30 when baby arrives. I recently married my now husband in, September of 2016. We decided to start trying and poof it happened. I am thankful it was fast but a bit shocked! I do have prolactimia but it was under control so it didn't slow anything down.
We saw our healthy little baby on an ultra sound at 8 weeks 4 days and it had a strong healthy heartbeat of 190. I am currently 10 weeks 6 days and this human is "expected" to show up on January 11th, 2018.
I am Canadian, I work with children, I have a dog (with anxiety), 2 guinea pigs, I like to swim, do yoga and cook yummy food.
Looking forward to going through this journey with you!
I''m 8 weeks pregnant today and found out on Saturday at my first ultrasound that we're having identical twins.
Due 25 Jan, but as they're twins they'll probably come earlier.
Still gettting over the shock of two for one, and everything that will impact, but very happy to be finally pregnant. Obviously was wishing for a baby so hard I got two.
Would love to hear from other mums of multiples for advice as I don't know any.
Hello all! My name is Khrystyn and I'm due with my third baby, Originally due January 02 2018 but has changed to December 28th 2017. My oldest is a Jan baby and I was apart of an amazing bump group that I'm still so very close with today, I hope that all of you will be this way too!! I also have a 9 month old who is still breast fed (yes, my children will be very close together). I'm excited to get to know you ladies!!!
Hi, all! I am a 27 y.o. STM. I have been lurking since I got my BFP on May 30, but wanted to see the babe before posting anything (especially because I was not expecting or planning this pregnancy at all). My EDD is January 20. I was a lurker on N14 (until the mass exodus), but was too shy to ever post. I want to be more involved in this board and look forward to the journey with you all!
I'm late to the game it appears... but glad to be here! I'm 37 and will be 38 by my EDD of 1/6/18. Considered high risk due to AMA and various autoimmune disorders... but u/s so far have shown a healthy bean with a strong heartbeat, so I'm staying positive! This will be number 3 for us, and we're a little out of practice seeing as though our other 2 are school aged (DS is 8 and DD is 6). I didn't do the boards with either of them so I'm really excited to interact with and get to know this lovely group of ladies!
Hi! My name is Katie and I got my BFP on May31st. My EDD is Feb 5th but with a repeat cesarean I expect to be late January so I'm going to hang out here too I will be a STM and was on the Jan 2016 board with my DD Hannah. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Me: 30 DH: 31 Married: 2012 BFP #1 Sept 2014, MMC Dec 2014 | BFP #2 May 2015, DD Jan 2016 | BFP #3 May 2017, MC July 2017 | BFP #4 Jan 2018, MC Feb 2018 | BFP #5 July 2018, fingers crossed
Hello all, I have been lurking/posting since my BFP but I should probably introduce myself. My husband and I are 33 yrs old and have been married for nearly 9 years! I suffered a miscarriage of my first pregnancy in early January 2017, just a week after I had told my friends and family that I was pregnant. We were so happy to see my BFP on May 19 and right now my due date is January 27th. I have been kind of waiting for my first OB appointment and sonogram to get really excited, but it's not scheduled until near the end of my 8th week, this friday! The July '17 birth month club was so supportive and funny and awesome during my miscarriage/D&C and I'm really looking forward to being involved in this community!
Hi everyone! I realized I haven't formally introduced myself, so here it goes!
I'm Arlene, I'm 28 and a stay home mom. I'm originally from California but living in GA until my husband finishes his master's in nursing. I have one daughter, she's 16 months old and we got our BFP May 18 and our EDD is Feb. 1. Since I might get a repeat c-section, baby will come sometime January so I'm staying here if you don't mind
I was part of Feb '16 and as a FTM, that group of women helped me get through my first pregnancy in SO MANY WAYS. I look forward to sharing the next several months with you ladies
FTM here. I am from East TN, my due date is January 11th, and I am 10 weeks and 2 days! . I finally decided to join this group because I just need to read and be a part of the community. The last month has been SUPER hard on me, and I know that being a part of this journey with all of you can be a huge positive!
Hello! I'm Kayla. I'm 29 and this is my 3rd pregnancy. I have a 5 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. We found out Friday that baby number three is actually baby number three AND four! The twins are due January 18th and we are shocked and nervous!
Hi I am 8 wks along. We got our BFP in March. We are due January 24. My DH and I have a 3 yr old DS and an 8 month old DD. We are still very shocked by this news but excited.
I'm late to the game it appears... but glad to be here! I'm 37 and will be 38 by my EDD of 1/6/18. Our situations are very similar! I'm 37 (38 in Sept) and have a 6 and almost 8 year old. Congrats on your 3rd- us "old ladies" are going to rock these pregnancies. How are you feeling?
Hello, Thought I would introduce myself, I noticed most of you are from America, so I'll let you all know I'm from Australia! I'm 26 & currently 8w 6d with our first! My partner & I are very excited & got our first ultrasound at 8w, perfect heart rate at 165, with our first obs appointment tomorrow! We are due on January 26th, Australia Day, so this kid will be born a legend regardless (no doubt it will be stubborn & late like it's dad!) Look forward to see everyone's post throughout!

Third time mom; DS is almost 8 and DD is 6. I became pregnant in December 2013, but miscarried at 6w2d. I'm scared shitless, but really excited too!
If you head to the organization thread (the one that says: READ THIS FIRST) there is a handy list on what all the abbreviations mean.
