@krenee124 Congrats! It's such a relief every time we get this kind of reassurance, but then just get back to waiting for the next step. Is your first appt. with your RE or your Ob/Gyn? That will probably determine how lengthy/in-depth the appointment will be. But typically, the first u/s is trans-vaginal and offers some concrete data for dating. Since you will be past 6w at that point, you should be able to hear the heartbeat - which is the most amazing thing in the world.

@fivetimesnoluck thank you!! I was hoping and thinking we would have an ultrasound - I think that's when they'll determine 1 or 2 embryos! I will be with my RE until 12 weeks I believe then switch to OB!
Wow, great news ladies! @fivetimesnoluck I have had no issues, and took it easy at work today. Hoping that is good and it's absorbing. I did get a call from my re today to remind me to go get a rhogam shot. I have rH negative blood and my husband apparently has rH positive blood. So because I had early 2st trimester bleeding, the baby's blood could make my body fight it off. It's actually really for the next baby but, I have to go ahead and get it done. And then again at 28 weeks and then perhaps after delivery if the baby tests rH positive. Has anybody ever had to do this?

I had my 3rd u/s today at 8 weeks, everything still looks good. When I scheduled my last 2 appointments, the receptionist said they were both on her days off, so I wouldn't see her again. I cried. I going to be a mess when I have to say goodbye to the docs and nurses, they've been so amazing

AFM, RE just called and said I have slightly elevated TSH and they called in a script for me. I was 2.6 and she said doctor wants to see less than 2.5! So from what I'm reading online, should be okay, but there's no harm in starting meds to monitor throughout the pregnancy. Does anyone have any experience in this? I have no history of hyperthyroidism.
@Hoping10 I felt i was pressuring u into it so glad u did it, there is a line now we just need it to keep getting darker!! Don't let the color freak you out...i was preggers with 2 and my line was super faint so u kno! I know this is the first hurdle!
@kris031409 I felt the exact same way for sure!! are u with them through 12 weeks? Mine said 10 weeks but because my OB no longer does delivery she was willing to see me again. I actually asked her why they dont do full service and get us through delivery. I think she wanted to say because you ladies are nuts and i'm so excited to get you the hell outta here

Angelaag I had slightly elevated TSH when I first started with the RE, I've been on synthroid for the past 6 months. She said it's fine for "normal" people to be at the level I was, but for TTC and pregnancy they like it under 2 at my office. Once I graduate from the RE, I'll have to be checked every 6 weeks by a normal Endocrinologist.
Hopeful_mom I'll graduate to my OB at 10 weeks, 2 weeks from today. That's also when I'll be done the estrogen and progesterone!

DH and I landed in Boston early this morning, and then i went to bed and just woke up...red-eye flights stink! lol. California was sunny and hot, but it was great seeing the family!
AFM, ultrasound is on Friday! it's so close! the last few nights i've had dreams about it...can't remember much, but in one of them, i got stuck in traffic and missed the appointment, and they wouldn't let me reschedule!
I POAS again this morning- 2 actually (the cheap one came back slightly darker than yesterday and FRER was also positive- not a very dark line but an obvious one). Just trying to manage my expectations!

Thank you ladies! When I first took the test I started to cry because I saw nothing, then I saw the very faint line. I just hope and pray that the line gets darker and my beta is good. @Hoping10 I am so thrilled for you that your line got darker! I didn't test this morning because I ordered pregnancy tests online (cheaper than the drug store) and they didn't arrive until this afternoon. I drank a lot of water so I would have to pee, maybe that's why it was so faint.

Hoping10 congrats on the darker line! Definitely manage expectations on how quickly they darken, I literally cried every day from my BFP until my beta because I thought the line was lighter than the day before. Try to just compare every other day's tests, and not day to day

AFM, RE just called and said I have slightly elevated TSH and they called in a script for me. I was 2.6 and she said doctor wants to see less than 2.5! So from what I'm reading online, should be okay, but there's no harm in starting meds to monitor throughout the pregnancy. Does anyone have any experience in this? I have no history of hyperthyroidism.
@kris031409 I felt the exact same way for sure!! are u with them through 12 weeks? Mine said 10 weeks but because my OB no longer does delivery she was willing to see me again. I actually asked her why they dont do full service and get us through delivery. I think she wanted to say because you ladies are nuts and i'm so excited to get you the hell outta here

Hopeful_mom I'll graduate to my OB at 10 weeks, 2 weeks from today. That's also when I'll be done the estrogen and progesterone!

DH and I landed in Boston early this morning, and then i went to bed and just woke up...red-eye flights stink! lol. California was sunny and hot, but it was great seeing the family!
AFM, ultrasound is on Friday! it's so close! the last few nights i've had dreams about it...can't remember much, but in one of them, i got stuck in traffic and missed the appointment, and they wouldn't let me reschedule!

Hoping10 this process will never not be nerve racking but try to enjoy the positive and just be happy! Easier said then done - the worst can happen sure, i'm living proof...but dont think about it just be happy and enjoy the moment.

@kmoore6886 Thank you so much- I wish great betas for both us!! Yes- the water could definitely cause a fainter line. Are you going to test again in the morning? I will test every morning until beta (Friday).

Hoping10 congrats on the darker line! Definitely manage expectations on how quickly they darken, I literally cried every day from my BFP until my beta because I thought the line was lighter than the day before. Try to just compare every other day's tests, and not day to day
