@momma6angels11 Yes, my transfer got pushed back to Monday June 12. It was originally supposed to be sometime between Wednesday and Friday of this upcoming week, but when I got back from Europe and went for my check, my lining was good (8 mm), but my estrogen level was a little low, which can make the endometrium unstable. So the doc increased my Estradiol from twice a day to three times a day, and I go for another check this Wednesday. Then the transfer the following Monday. I'm anxious to get this show on the road!
Anyone else nauseous from the Estrace? I had to ask for a Zofran Rx, but I haven't had to take one yet (though I am vaguely nauseous, especially later in the day).
I'm interested to hear what actually happens during the transfer procedure. Is it painful at all? Is that why people take the Valium? How long does it take? What was this about a full bladder and a nurse pushing around? My doctor mentioned that my lining isn't uniformly thick, and he pointed out the spot where he thinks they will place the embryo. Crazy that they can do it with such precision.
@Stairbear the transfer was not painful to me, a little uncomfortable but not painful. The valium is meant to relax you and the transfer is pretty quick. You have a full bladder so the doctor has a better view of where to place the embryos and the nurse is pushing the ultrasound probe on your lower stomach in order to display your uterus. Good luck on the 12th!
@Stairbear oh im sorry it got pushed back.. im not nauseas from the estrace ,but ive only just begun..lol. tomorrow it goes up to 2 tabs am and pm for 2 days.. i will be counting down the days right with you and everyone else here..
@Prudence9 - I'm so sorry that this happened, but I'm glad they caught it before the transfer. Looks like we are both transferring in July.
@i-wanna-b-the-girl-w-most-cake: There was a paper published a couple of years ago that looked into the embryo morphology and aneuploidy/euploidy status. In that paper, euploid embryo that became blast on day 5, 6, or even 7 had no difference in implantation rate.
AFM- I'm supposed to start taking bcp starting this Monday, but I haven't been given the FET calendar yet, so I have no idea what else I'm supposed to take, when my sonohysterogram will be, and most importantly, when my FET will be! My guess at this point is in July. My b-day is mid-June so I was hoping for the embryo to be my little b-day present (I'm jealous of ladies with beta around that time!) but can't rush these things, right? The calendar is supposed to be sent out this week, so I will wait.

@cashewchicken I'm sorry you're fet is later than you expected, the waiting it truly horrible. @stairbear the FET was uncomfortable but not painful. I laid on the table with legs in a 90 degree angel and the table was tilted a little so my head was lower than my hips. I had to have a full bladder so the dr could get a better view of my uterus and the nurse had to push down on my stomach for a clear view. Once the speculum was placed it wasn't long at all, total about 15 minutes. afterwards i had to lay down for 15-30 minutes before getting up to use the bathroom.

Hi ladies! I've been lurking for quite awhile- I have t been active on the bump since last year but thought I'd join in. Quick intro: I'm attempting my 3rd FET after two fails Oct. 16 and May 17. ****trigger warning***i have a 2.5 year old daughter from afresh IVF in 2014 and have NOT been successful again. Many cancelled cycles due to thin lining. I'm adjusting my protocol this time to a mini stim with Gonal F, Ganirelix and trigger. I've done a natural cycle and medicated with patches, my lining was 6.5 last month and 7 in October. Really hoping this new med protocol will help, it's what I used for my first IVF and I got up to 9.1. I wish you all success this month. IF is too consuming and I recognize a few names, sorry to see you still here. I go for my first monitoring appt. tomorrow. I only have 1 remaining embryo that I'll be transferring.
@ltlavac Welcome to this board. It really sucks when this has worked once but doesn't work again. I'm right there with ya TW I have twins from my 2nd fresh transfer in 2012 and now I'm on my 6th FET with only 3 embryos left. GL at your monitoring apt tomorrow.

I'm back! Was off the boards for a bit... had a rough week on the farm last week and just couldn't handle much with that and these horrible headaches.
@momma6angels11 I went in for my lining check this morning and they called back with good results (lining 7+mm and progesterone at 0.1). Start progesterone shots tomorrow night with a transfer on the 11th!
@Stairbear I'll let you know how it goes (this is my first go around with transfer and am also asking all the questions!)
Anyone else's RE want blood work the morning before transfer? Or on the way home? I'm guessing its to mark your levels day of transfer for reference? Just annoying since my doc is 30 minutes in the opposite direction as the hospital that I have my ART procedures done at
@cmiller73 Awesome news!! My RE has me coming in for bloodwork on the 19th and transfer on the 21st and ive got to go 2hrs away for that and 3 1/2 for the transfer
@cmiller73 I just found out my transfer is also set for the 11th My RE also wants me to come in the day before for blood work and ultrasound, I guess just to make sure everything is where it needs to be. I'm excited that transfer is less than a week away!

ltlavac - Welcome and best of luck to you this month!
I'm just under 3 weeks away and am finally feeling excited! This period has been pretty horrendous so was unable to think about anything other than my painful cramps for the past 5 days. I think this has been the longest bleed of my life and hoping the estrogen pills and patch I begin tomorrow will stop it. Had my baseline yesterday...estradiol at 7.4 and progesterone at 0.1 which I was told is normal so good to go for the 26th!
I only have bw and us on cycle day 3 and 13. If love more checks to make sure things are inline.
Just got my call transfer is Thursday at 12:45 eastern so 11:45 My time. I'm so anxious ready to do this. Now we are unsure if we want to transfer 2 Or go all I'm with the 3 we have left. I have butterflies in my tummy just thinking about that.

I just did my first FET today and it was supposed to be tomorrow!! They also gave me valium to take before my appointment. @i-wanna-b-the-girl-w-most-cake@momma6angels11 thanks ladies. I'm super tired but I don't know if it's in my head or from the PIO or what. otherwise zero symptoms. This has been by far the hardest wait of all.

@momma6angels11 i have to tell you i hated the estrace and always felt like i was putting hem in wrong. I starting using the applicator from the suppository to help. I would love to hear others advice to you. I will say that the nurse told me as long as you get it in there your body does the rest. Good luck let the countdown begin!
brooklyngirl18 remember its really early so many dont have symptoms...think all of those ladies that give birth not even knowing they're preggers. HAAA I always love that one as I was so sick at just 6w. I"m feeling positive for you! Looking forward to seeing good news!

@nim81 welcome and congrats on being PUPO! Sorry to hear about your CP. @brooklyngirl18 this is definitely the hardest wait! Sorry if you already mentioned, but are you testing soon? I agree with @Hopeful_mom that it's so early for symptoms. I always die when I hear of those "I didn't know I was pregnant" stories. Its hard that we know the second from inception and others have that fun moment of OH did I miss my period...so they're already 1/2 way through the first trimester without having to play the waiting game of hearing the heart beat and everything (TW) and when i was preggers the day I hit 6w i was sick morning, noon and night! @momma6angels11 Thsnks for asking!!my appointment was so crazy. My lining was triple layer and 7.3mm, I thought I had my period bc I've been spotting and light bleeding since my failed fet. Now last night I had heavy flow and it ended this afternoon. I go back again tomorrow, I'm curious what is going on?!? Hoping it's not going to be a bust this month!!
As far as the estrace tabs up the hoo ha! Lol! I just tried to get it up there as far as possible with my finger TMI but it always seemed like it was going to come out when I took my finger out! Loved the smurf blue discharge, too! Yuck! Yay for bring almost pupo! 2 weeks to go- that's awesome!
Hey ladies! I took a bump break while drowning in work and weddings. Tomorrow is my lining check so I came hear to check out how things are going with everyone.
To all those that have dates pushed back, I'm sorry. I feel your frustration, you have all waited long enough. I hope that this is the last wait for you all!
To the ladies that are PUPO, WooHoo!!! Step back from the wine glasses, and choose carefully if and when you will pee on all the sticks. Never is the TWW harder (imo) than after a fertility treatment. May the Netflix gods shine their distractions upon you.
@kaseycoco we are transfer buddies! YAY! Do you know when your transfer is happening other than the day? I only have the day. I understand why, but I find it annoying also that hubby and I won't know when our transfer actually is until the afternoon on the day before. And we have to drive into downtown Boston. On a beautiful Sunday. It's either an hour and 15 or 3 hours. UGH. But oh well... I get it... they can't assign it until their day is fully scheduled with retrievals first.
AFM, I started PIO on the 6th so have had hubby stab me twice. He is SO good! I have opted for the no ice, no numbing agent and no heat before my shot with a massage after and heating pad for about 20-30 minutes after that. So far so good. Just sore the following day and I would say the description that it feels like a fresh bruise or sore muscle is spot on. Granted its day 3. LOL. The headaches have lessened with the PIO, but now I am just exhausted (expected) and my filter for keeping my annoyances and frustrations IN versus being said out loud has all but disappeared. My husband is SO excited about that LOL.
@Stairbear My procedures are handled through a hospital and their Assisted Reproductive Tech group. That hospital has a partnership with my local hospital that my physician group is part of. (yay for privatization?) So, while I am super lucky to have an amazing hospital handling all of the procedures, it is a in dt Boston, a ways away from where I actually live. My monitoring and blood work is all done at the local hospital's Reproductive Care office 20 minutes away. THEY don't work past 3pm m-f and only handle monitoring appts on the weekends LOL. The hospital I have all procedures at, works 7 days a week (and the Sunday crew I had for my last egg retrieval was AH-MAZING and I felt like I got their A-team on a weekend which was a super pleasant surprise!)
GUYS!!! I finally got my BFP! I tested on a whim last night 5dp5dt totally expecting a BFN because of evening and lack of symptoms but i got a decent line on a wondfo. I tested again this morning with frer and wondfo and there's totally a line. I'm still getting over that this is real. My beta is Monday. I hope i'm just the first of many many bfp this month.

Had my baseline yesterday...estradiol at 7.4 and progesterone at 0.1 which I was told is normal so good to go for the 26th!
Just got my call transfer is Thursday at 12:45 eastern so 11:45 My time. I'm so anxious ready to do this. Now we are unsure if we want to transfer 2 Or go all I'm with the 3 we have left. I have butterflies in my tummy just thinking about that.

Good luck to everyone!!

brooklyngirl18 remember its really early so many dont have symptoms...think all of those ladies that give birth not even knowing they're preggers. HAAA I always love that one as I was so sick at just 6w. I"m feeling positive for you! Looking forward to seeing good news!

@Nim81 how do you feel and when do you plan on poas?
@brooklyngirl18 this is definitely the hardest wait! Sorry if you already mentioned, but are you testing soon? I agree with @Hopeful_mom that it's so early for symptoms. I always die when I hear of those "I didn't know I was pregnant" stories. Although I haven't been pregnant yet, I can't fathom how you wouldn't notice!
@thucks good luck tomorrow

AFM, I started PIO on the 6th so have had hubby stab me twice. He is SO good!
Thinking of @thucks , @ltlavac , and @Cowboycorgi today too! GL!
Keep your head up, @brooklyngirl18 ! Sending positive vibes your way!
