WAYDTGKU: All the things
R/R: Ugh, so I didn't temp or bring OPKs while I was on my girls weekend, and now I have no f'ing clue what's going on. Monday temp was normal pre-O (97.10). Yesterday was 97.72 BUT I apparently turned off the alarm in my sleep and then temped 40 minutes after that so I'm not sure if I trust it. This morning was 97.70 but I woke up about 30 minutes before my alarm because my arm was asleep so I rearranged myself a little bit, realized it was so close to the alarm, and temped. Laid in bed for 20ish minutes, temped again and it was 97.57. OPKs have all been super negative. Had some EWCM Monday, teeny bit Tuesday but then it dried up. Just going to have to wait and see what happens tomorrow. FX I sleep to my alarm so there's no questions.
CS/Q:
GTKY: tell me about your favorite teacher/professor. When I went back to school for my bachelor's my team dynamics professor (Gary Lubbert) was awesome. The class was 6 - 10pm, and he was always able to keep us engaged. I was also working at the university, and he was a wonderful co-worker. Unfortunately he passed away from cancer last year.
@RVAmom315 keep positive, maybe DTD in a hotel will add some excitement at the right time.
@LoveInDC do you normally wake up at 4:30? It would be so hard to get up that early and remember to temp. Also, I love that your prof took the class to a bar for a discussion. What a fun way to learn!
@KariAnn323 Ugh, I hate when temping gets messed up right when it counts. FX your chart works itself out and you get some good timing regardless.
@olive_lane DH's first alarm is at 4:30 unfortunately lol I roll over and get up at 7:30, but my sleep is so unreliable for those hours, it's better just to temp right away.
@Dilynne I hope you kick ass at work today No pressure to be at 100% (for work, or TTC). Sometimes it takes a bit longer than we'd like to feel "normal" or be ourselves again. Here for you if you need anything.
R/R: I am apparently still recovering from the long weekend and slept an extra hour after temping. Still so tired. And so much work to catch up on.
GTKY: I had lots of great teachers/professors so it's hard to pick a favorite. My 8th grade math teacher really got me interested in math (and now I'm an engineer). One of my professors was very "open door" policy and we talked a lot. He helped me see opportunities that were outside the box for what I thought I had to do with my degree. I love what I do now!

GTKY: tell me about your favorite teacher/professor. My favorite teacher was in public school he was a young good looking guy (Mr Searle) he was very supportive and pushed all of us to work harder. I was a lot more active back then and he told my parents I could be in the Olympics one day. Haha that didn`t happen but it was nice to know someone thought I was super athletic.
WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPK... tried MacaHarmony last cycle and I felt great but my cycle was four days longer than usual... so I stopped. Not sure what to do in terms of supplements now... maybe just stick with good nutrition....

CS/Q:
GTKY: tell me about your favorite teacher/professor. College professor in my field who really encouraged and pushed me. Pushed me to complete a senior thesis and then eventually to get it published. An excellent resource and reference to this day.
@purplg8r happy last day! I didn't know you lived in Puerto Rico! That must have been amazing! @olive_lane that's so cool that your teacher came to your wedding! @RVAmom315 thanks!! They ended up scheduling the IUI for Thursday but thanks so much for thinking of me! Fx you're able to get some good timing in. @LoveInDC the Clomid didn't affect my temps at all. Hope you enjoyed your girls weekend though! @Dilynne what is your favorite book? @MrsMiller8588 that's great that your teacher pointed you in the right direction toward your career! @Stargazer1lily ughhh mosquitoes! GTKY: tell me about your favorite teacher/professor. My precalculus teacher in 11th grade was the first person who made me feel confident in a math class. She pulled me out of our four day final that year to ask why I hadn't signed up for AP calculus the next year. I told her I didn't think I would be able to do it and she told me I already had a 95 on the final and she would be extremely disappointed if I didn't take AP next year. I signed up for AP calculus and she was my teacher again the next year and I ended up with a 5 out of 5 on my AP exam and went on to take higher levels of calculus in college.

R/R: After a 5 day weekend I'm exhausted. I simultaneously can't believe it's already Wednesday and only Wednesday.
CS/Q: I've been terrible at temping this cycle.
GTKY: tell me about your favorite teacher/professor. I've had a lot of favorite teachers over the years but I'd say my ultimate favorite would be one of my professors from the first college I went to. I had a rough start to my college career and she definitely got me back on course. She taugh my favorite (history) classes and really pushed me to succeed. When I decided to transfer schools she wrote me an honest but glowing recommendation to her alma mater where I went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude. If it weren't for her I don't think I would have achieved that.
@LoveinDC that teacher does sound awesome. I mean, he sounds fun, but moreso I'm swooning over him really making you feel like your ideas mattered. Love that!
@Dilynne GL with getting things sorted at work. Sometimes things in life are just stressful and frankly suck. But that's ok! Many hugs!
@MrsMiller8588 That's awesome that your teacher made such an impact on your life goals! Have you been able to get in touch with him/her to tell them that?
@hollieileen aw sorry about AF and CD1. I know that it's easier said than done, but try not to feel like you're doing anything "wrong".
R/R: I'm totally proud of myself for how successfully I've been temping!
CS/Q:
GTKY: tell me about your favorite teacher/professor. My favorite teacher was probably my 12th grade economics teacher. First of all, the class itself was definitely memorable since we had every single Jennifer in the senior class in it (all 8 of them!). But the teacher was SO enthusiastic about the material, and you couldn't help but be excited for her class too. She was a little bit wonky, but I really loved that she was so wild and different from all the other teachers.
R/R: Sorry to P&G today but I have 10min of my lunch break left followed by 4 patients so it's one of thise days. Nothing much going on outside the norm. Just anxiously awaiting my DH to get home on Friday and keeping my FX this eggy hold out to give us a glimmer of hope this cycle. I'm kind of just read to fast forward to next month though when we will have our first real undisrupted opportunity to TTC.
CS/Q: Not today
GTKY: tell me about your favorite teacher/professor. I had a fantastic teacher in Grad school who was super engaging and enthusiastic about her work. The class was also extremely interesting in general (sexual health therapy) and she made everyone feel really comfortable learning and discussing the material even though sometimes it was realllly outside my box. We actually watched porn IN CLASS and then talked about it. Like wuut? Ever since I took that class I have always wanted to go back to school to get a certification in sexual health.
welcome to summer break @purplg8r!! Come lounge by the pool with me
@RVAmom315 yyess!! you got a hotel! This is fabulous news @Stargazer1lily -- We had the same mosquito problems recently. Here's what we do: Get a diffuser (Amazon has some great ones) and some essential oils (they don't need to be super fancy ones) and I would suggest diffusing peppermint or eucalyptus in your room. Also, lavender. These are super helpful and we haven't had any problems since.

WAYDTGKU: sexing it up while we wait for O
R/R: My husband just texted me and said "let's go get you a new car tonight. I am serious" So... this night might be getting pretty freaking exciting
CS/Q: Temp has been steadily getting lower so I am hoping or a jump up soon but OPKs have been negative. Does the OPK turn positive before or after the spike? I can never remember.
GTKY: tell me about your favorite teacher/professor.
That would be my band director from high school. I not only adored him as a teacher but i have to admit I had a crush on him as well. ** TW** Unfortunately, he passed away my junior year in high school in a car accident. **TW** However, he inspired me to be who I am today.
@olive_lane I had a really great choir teacher too. He was a goofball but that made choir really fun... although I don't know if it helped in terms of taking the class seriously.
@KariAnn323 Ugh, that's frustrating about your temp. If you haven't had a +opk yet I would assume the temps are off though? Do you normally get +OPKs before O? Do you think you may have missed your surge?
@hollieileen So sorry about CD1 and having to go through that. I would be SO upset with my body if I was 4 days late! Hugs.
@shortstack930 Great job with the shot! I would have a really hard time doing that. So excited for you tomorrow!
@mschanandlerbong1214 Hey you.. I was wondering where you have been the past few days.
@JennyColada I was so good about temping my first 4 cycles when I was TTA and now that I am actually TTC I skip days (mostly the weekends) all the time. I don't miss the week leading up to O though.
@garnetandgoldgrace Yay for a new car! My DH and I are going to start car shopping next weekend. My lease is up at the end of June so I have to get something new!
@JJMNO1616 was soaking up time with DH and my boys over the long weekend not sure when we'll get that again since DH is super busy at work and traveling again soon.
R/R: My temp started to climb yesterday and dropped back today, not sure if it is because I didn’t sleep well or if the trigger messed with my temps. Hoping to get a temp spike before I start progesterone tomorrow, and then I can officially move to TWW.
CS/Q: Has the trigger effected any of your temps?
GTKY: tell me about your favorite teacher/professor.
I have had many through the years, but my favorite was my first grade teacher. She was practical yet even at a young age I could tell she cared about the students in her class. She taught more than just the curriculum; she would teach us life tips as well (like how to wait patiently, how to be kind to others). She also encouraged my reading habit, and it stuck with me through the years.
@olive_lane I agree for the short week feeling long, ready to be in next week already. Love that you still keep in touch with your choir teacher!
@RVAmom315 Yay! Hotel rooms for the win! Hope work isn’t as nightmarish as expected.
@LoveInDC Hope the vet call wasn’t anything serious! I have heard that Clomid can mess up temps, but I haven’t taken it myself. Sounds like a creative teacher!
@KariAnn323 I ready your R/R like 10 times trying to figure out what I thought it might mean, guess in the end I am leaning towards you did O, but I think you are right tomorrow should be a better answer.
@MrsMiller8588 It amazes me how a good teacher can have such an effect on a students life. It is great that you love what you do now! Good luck with work!
@Stargazer1lily Wow Olympics! That is high praise! Hope you solve the mosquitos problem, they are so annoying.
@hollieileen Sorry about CD1 and BFN. Take a few days to come up with a new game plan and treat yourself!
@shortstack930 Been stalking you girl! So excited for your IUI tomorrow. Way to go with the trigger! You got this! (And I totally relate to trying to not to get hopes up too high, MH is already super hopeful and that is so unlike him, so I feel one of us needs to stay a bit grounded)
@Jjmno1616 Friday is not too far away! Looks like you might get a chance!
@garnetandgoldgrace Love the gif! Yay for the new car! Fingers crossed it works out this time! Btw for me the OPK turns positive a few days before the spike. Still waiting for the CH and my peak OPK was Sunday.
@LoveInDC well I signed up for classes with the wrong professors.
@shortstack930 fx for a smooth IUI tomorrow! Did they show you how to give the trigger shot to yourself? My next cycle is medicated and I'm not sure how I feel about DH giving it to me but idk how I'll do giving it to myself.

WAYDTGKU: Just waiting for AF to leave.
R/R: My prolactin lab came back normal. Which I assumed and is great but everything thus far has been normal so WTF body why can't you just do your job?!?
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: tell me about your favorite teacher/professor. This is really sad but I don't have a favorite teacher or professor. No one stands out and I never had anyone really push me. I did however have some professors that I didn't like.
@JJMNO1616 No shows are both good and bad, haha. My loan officers always crack up because I always write "NCNS" (No Call No Show) which is leftover from my days in retail. Since both the loan officers have worked in retail as well they crack up "oh no, that customer is going to get a write up!"
@JennyColada Yes, some days I am praying for a no-show or cancellation and other days I'm super annoyed. It just depends on if I am behind on notes and have other things to do lol. I hate just sitting at work with nothing to do but when I feel behind it can be a much needed opportunity to get caught up! They totally should get a write up though... it's just rude.
@LoveinDC I know you're trying to not get too excited, but I am so excited for you. FX so hard that the clomid does awesome things. @shortstack930 Glad that trigger went well. FX for IUI tomorrow @garnetandgoldgrace GL car shopping tonight! @JJMNO1616 It's definitely possible that I missed my surge. I didn't get home Sunday until 8pm and I was exhausted so I forgot to do an OPK. If temp is high again tomorrow I would say I O'd Monday so it's possibly. I usually have a slow rise so the 0.6 degree jump is throwing me for a loop though. Definitely kicking myself for not temping/bringing OPKs with me on vacation. @ramzlau Thanks for the stalk. I agree that I probably O'd. Just twiddling my thumbs until tomorrow. @mispanda Yay for normal labs!
R/R: Rant, migraine, Rave, spent the evening with my niece and nephews.
CS/Q: question, how long would you wait to get a period from Provera before calling your doctor? Last cycle he said it would take 4-5 days after my last pill, it came first thing in the morning of day 4. I am now taking it again, end of day 5, and nothing.
GTKY: tell me about your favorite teacher/professor. I have so many, I can't chose. Probably my Latin teacher in high school. She truly cared.
@garnetandgoldgrace, that's exciting, good luck! @Dilynne , what was the book? @LoveInDC, just curious, why are you temping on clomid? I am about to start clomid and was planning on temping, but have heard conflicting reasoning why to temp and not. I didn't know it could affect your temps, which I am not a sound sleeper, so maybe I should not temp ... Anyway, just want more opinions on the subject so I can decide to commit or not.
@mispanda yes a nurse at the RE showed me how to do the trigger and then gave me a very detailed instruction pamphlet with pictures and everything. I think it was easier to do it myself rather than having someone else do it. I totally get you on the labs--all of my tests have been normal too so it's like you're almost hoping something will be abnormal just so they can finally figure out what's going on.

@holly321 I've had conflicting experiences with Provera. My first AF came 4 days after my last pill. My second came only 2 days after my last pill. I say if you don't see anything by Friday, then call (tomorrow if the office is closed on Fridays). As for temping on Clomid, I think the majority of claims against temping is mental sanity, but I'm not quite sure if that's all it is because everything I read on that limited subject is so vague. I plan on temping because I never ovulate and I want to know if this does the trick before CD23 labs.

@Dilynne I hope you kick ass at work today No pressure to be at 100% (for work, or TTC). Sometimes it takes a bit longer than we'd like to feel "normal" or be ourselves again. Here for you if you need anything.
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: all the normal things
R/R: I am apparently still recovering from the long weekend and slept an extra hour after temping. Still so tired. And so much work to catch up on.
GTKY: I had lots of great teachers/professors so it's hard to pick a favorite. My 8th grade math teacher really got me interested in math (and now I'm an engineer). One of my professors was very "open door" policy and we talked a lot. He helped me see opportunities that were outside the box for what I thought I had to do with my degree. I love what I do now!

R/R:Mosquitoes have been getting in my house and waking me up to damn early.
gotta find where their getting in or maybe their hitch hiking in on the dogs.
CS/Q:nope
GTKY: tell me about your favorite teacher/professor. My favorite teacher was in public school he was a young good looking guy (Mr Searle) he was very supportive and pushed all of us to work harder. I was a lot more active back then and he told my parents I could be in the Olympics one day. Haha that didn`t happen but it was nice to know someone thought I was super athletic.
CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPK... tried MacaHarmony last cycle and I felt great but my cycle was four days longer than usual... so I stopped. Not sure what to do in terms of supplements now... maybe just stick with good nutrition....
R/R: BFN after four days late this morning... followed by AF 30 mins later. Just questioning all my decisions and trying to figure out a new game plan this morning.
CS/Q:
GTKY: tell me about your favorite teacher/professor.
College professor in my field who really encouraged and pushed me. Pushed me to complete a senior thesis and then eventually to get it published. An excellent resource and reference to this day.
Sorry you didn't get good sleep!
@KariAnn323 that's frustrating about your temps. Hope you enjoyed your girls weekend though!
@Dilynne what is your favorite book?
@MrsMiller8588 that's great that your teacher pointed you in the right direction toward your career!
@Stargazer1lily ughhh mosquitoes! Hope you find out how they're getting in.
@hollieileen sorry AF showed!

WAYDTGKU: Clomid + Ovidrel trigger + IUI
R/R: gave myself the trigger shot last night without incident! IUI is tomorrow at 11am. I'm just anxious to get it done already. I feel like I'm getting too hopeful for this cycle but I can't help myself.
CS/Q: nope

@purplg8r congrats on that 3 mile run! Oh man that is awesome! I think the most I've done is 2.5 miles and I was really feeling it.
@olive_lane it's funny, for most of May I feel like it was going by really slowly, but I feel like the past 2 weeks are flying by for me.
@RVAmom315 GL on the sex. :P

WAYDTGKU: Things
@RVAmom315 yyess!! you got a hotel! This is fabulous news
@Stargazer1lily -- We had the same mosquito problems recently. Here's what we do: Get a diffuser (Amazon has some great ones) and some essential oils (they don't need to be super fancy ones) and I would suggest diffusing peppermint or eucalyptus in your room. Also, lavender. These are super helpful and we haven't had any problems since.

@purplg8r Happy last day!
@olive_lane I had a really great choir teacher too. He was a goofball but that made choir really fun... although I don't know if it helped in terms of taking the class seriously.
@RVAmom315 Yay for hotel sex!

WAYDTGKU: Abx - Trigger - IUI- Progesterone

@purplg8r yay for last day of school with kids!
@Dilynne Good luck with work today!
@mschanandlerbong1214 Wednesday! Wednesday? There with you!
@JennyColada Way to go with the temping!

@shortstack930 Glad that trigger went well. FX for IUI tomorrow
@garnetandgoldgrace GL car shopping tonight!
@mispanda Yay for normal labs!

WAYDTGKU: waiting impatiently.
@LoveInDC ugh! I hate being woken up just a little before my alarm!!
@KariAnn323 I'm sorry to hear about your professor. But man that's a late & long class!
@Dilynne what book did he introduce you to?
@MrsMiller8588 I feel ya on being tired!
@Stargazer1lily I hope you could find how the mosquitos are getting in. That would drive me crazy!!
@hollieileen so sorry about cd1!

@mschanandlerbong1214 I'm ready for it to be the weekend!!
@JennyColada yay for the temping! And 8 kids with the same name?? I hate when I have 2!
@JJMNO1616 I think it would be so awkward to watch porn in a class!!
@garnetandgoldgrace 2 more days and I'll be there!! Did you get a new car??
@ramzlau FX your temps behave tomorrow!!
@mispanda I'm glad your land came back normal!
