Re: May TWW

  • @Angelaag The overlapping symptoms between pregnancy, pms, and progesterone are so frustrating, right? Drives me nuts. I am with you on the moodiness. I'm 13dpt and feeling super emotional. I snapped at my husband yesterday for something super petty and then cried about it! Wacky hormones + the rollercoaster of IVF/IUI is a rough ride.

@MrsJ2410 Thank you and congrats on your BFP! That is such wonderful news. I hope you get a nice strong beta number on Wed!

@lynn2003 Yay! I hope line keeps getting darker. When is your beta?

  • Hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day! We are about to head to my husband's family's house and the struggle is real today. There is 12 nieces and nephews on his side, everyone pops them out like candy! I won't see them all today, but having to see babies shortly makes me sad. I know it shouldn't, but they love to be like hey...hold the baby! I think they think it may help me or make me feel good? Hate to be Debbie downer, but going thru this has its moment for sure! If only could drink or have caffiene maybe I'd feel better lol

  • @kristimh80 I know the feeling I had that 2 weeks ago at my sister in laws grad party. Babies and people announcing they were expecting. I wish it was that easy people dont have a clue what we go thru and the emotional aspect if it. Wishing you luck today.
  • @kristimh80 - Hope it went better today than you expected. It's so hard.

Although I was 99% sure I was out, AF made an appearance today to confirm.

  • @dmo1371 so sorry :disappointed:
@kristimh80 I hate story time! But I do share my story because people who have never dealt with IF truly don't get it so I always try to use it as a teaching time

afm, 4dp5dt was negative. Didn't feel like testing today - trying to stay strong bc I know how I feel when no line shows up. But had light pink d/c today .. its color is always lighter because of my progesterone... this happened last cycle but on day 9. Anyone had spotting Day 5?
  • @krenee124 Very true! If I had been in a better mood & starting this cycle I probably would have been a whole lot happier and open to sharing. FX for you!! I had a negative this morning too, but it is early. How many days after 5dt's should you test? Just curious, I know it's earlier than IUI's.

@kristimh80. Hopefully it's just too early. I got a BFN this morning too.  Sorry for the tough time yesterday. That's the worst.
  • @krenee124 stark white for me too 5dpFET. I obsessively searched when to test and 5dp seems to be quite early, but not rare.

My beta is friday, which is 8dp. But because I'm an addict I will POAS every morning! I really just want to see two lines. After four years, I can't even imagine...

Hi all, I have been off the boards for a couple of days, so lots to catch up on.

Congrats, @MrsJ2410, @nmd9168, @Sugarbreak, @caseyw8784 and @lynn2003 on the BFPs. So happy to see good and rising betas!

@dmo1371, I'm sorry. FX that the next cycle is the one for you!

For all those in holding patterns, good luck! The TWW is a special form of torture.

I broke down and POAS on Saturday night, which was approximately 10dpo, and to no one's surprise, it was BFN. I have had a BFP as early as 9dpo in the past, but I knew it wasn't going to tell me much if it was BFN. I'm just a sucker for those pregnancy tests. When the TWW is getting to me and they are tucked away in a drawer, they just call my name and I simply can't resist. I was surprisingly not too in my head about it and I have not been tempted to POAS since then. I'm holding out until Thursday (unless I totally cave tomorrow, which is not impossible). That will be the day of my missed period and it will be 15 dp my LH surge, so a BFN will mean I'm out. If AF makes an appearance at the end of the week, I will turn my attention to my first ever IVF cycle with egg retrieval likely in July and FET in September.

    GL to you all!

I've been off the bump for the past several days so just catching up. So much good news on here! Wow!

So happy for @MrsJ2410@nmd9168@Sugarbreak on the BFPs. That makes me so hopeful and thrilled for you ladies! @caseyw8784 such awesome numbers!!

@dmo1371 I am so sorry! I'm right there with you!

As for me (AFM), all negative all the time. I started spotting it's 14 dpiui and I didn't even test today. Yesterday was neg, so why waste a good test. On to IVF and on to spending a crap ton of money. Oooweee

Sorry if I am missing some data on here. If you want to be added, let me know!

  • @nmd9168, Congratulations! That's a great beta! More than double in 48 hours! Pregnancy after a loss is so scary...I've been there. I really have no advice, just fingers, toes, and eyes crossed for you for a healthy and happy nine months. I found that journaling about my fears was helpful because it allowed me to get them out of my head and acknowledge them, but that might not help everyone. I hope you can find an outlet that helps relieve some of the fear! Congrats again! Prayers and best wishes!

I didn't think i would have 3, and then after #2 they said to come back in a week for #3, when i was expecting to go back for an ultrasound! i know it wasn't because they were worried about my levels, they were very very pleased by them...i guess it's just their standard practice...
