This is reeeally random, but today I've seen three different people post 4-year anniversary stuff on social media. Three anniversaries wouldn't be that weird, but three four-year anniversaries? Apparently this day in 2013 was a very popular day to get married.
The 25th was our 3-year anniversary! It was a good date in 2014 as well.

I am so utterly unmotivated to do anything today. I've taken 963 steps. I should be working out/going on a walk, shopping for a bday present for my bff's party tonight, laundry, getting a mani/pedi for a wedding tomorrow. Ugh. I just want to read and watch tv. I'm so over this exhaustion!
@breezybee I'm in the same boat, I took the day off and haven't even emptied the dishwasher (which husband ran last night..) I was lazy pre-pregnancy, and I'm on sloth levels now.
This is isn't really random but I'm really over this on and off sluggish nausea. The last three to four days I had no nausea to speak after 2 1/2 weeks of very solid nausea and today it's hit me pretty hard and all my tricks for taming it just aren't working. I know it's part of it but ughhhh
Pull into the gas station and have to back in to the only available pump. In Oregon you can't pump your own gas. The attendant comes over and says he thinks the guy behind me was there first, so I'm thinking I cut someone off when I pulled in. So I got all flustered and was like, "isn't he at that pump?" and the guy just took care of me anyway. Turns out the guy at the pump behind me was there first and still waiting. So...why not just go to that guy first instead of coming to me first and saying he was here first? Why can't I just pump my own gas?! Ugh.
@MJDsquared everytime I go to Oregon I forget that weirdness and get in some awkward "no, I'm good, I can do it myself, thanks, oh wait what I can't, uhhhhh alright" conversations with the attendant. Its kind of ridiculous. I am sorry you had that awkward interaction!

You can't pump gas in Jersey either and I always look like such an idiot when we drive down there and I'm super confused/getting out of my car/jumping back in. Such a weird rule!
I hope this is an okay place to post this. I'm desperate for a good book. I don't have a ton of time to read (toddler life), but I find that when I have a book to read, I have a much easier time winding down at night. What has everyone read and enjoyed?
@kaylawing what kinds of books are you into? I really love the Outlander series. It's long so you won't have to look for a new one for a good long time!

I hate getting gas in Jersey for that same reason @MJDsquared. One summer I was there so often (before I was married but visiting my in-laws without my hubby) that the attendant guy asked if I lived close. Nope, Virginia. The whole thing was just so weird.
@kaylawing Otlander was good - I'm on book 5 Gane of Thrones series is amazing. Gone Girl, Big Little Lies or anything by that author, I'm reading a book called Marlena now and it's pretty good so far. I read at least 2 books a week, so I've got a pretty extensive list
It really is. We weren't friends or anything but she was a real sweetheart, and I guess her son was just diagnosed with Autism. His little life is going to be that much harder now.
@kaylawing, I agree with the above suggestions! Liane Moriarty (author of Big Little Lies) has become my go to! I started My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She's Sorry, and so far it seems good. The first Outlander book was great, but so far I haven't had the energy to delve into the next one...it's a commitment for sure!
@amcsquared I went to college in WA and had to have a friend teach me! I was so annoyed about having to pump my own gas but after living in WA for a few years and moving back here I think it's so annoying not to be able to pump my own!
Been MIA due to a lot going on this week. DD's 1st birthday party is today, and we both woke up sick this morning. Fun stuff!! Really hoping neither one of us gets worse. My in laws are here for the next week, and we announce today that we are expecting. Hoping to have more time this week to come play with you ladies.
I was out of town, so I'm late to this convo.....but I hate that I now need to pump my own gas. When I drive to my parents in Jersey, I always try and make it to Jersey before getting gas. I actually was 23 before I ever pumped gas!

I didn't even know not being able to pump your own gas was a thing until last year! I would love to never have to pump it myself again! I try my best to get gas when DH is in the car so he does it for me

OK jersey people...explain some etiquette here. am i supposed to tip the guy pumping my gas? what if i usually clean my windows while i pump my gas, then what? the whole thing is just so awkward...

@anewadventure I'm in the minority. I tip when they do something other than pump my gas - like clean my windows. I also tip like a couple dollars if it's snowing or really nasty out or like Christmas time. but not normally for just pumping gas
I'm like @Marley629. If I have a couple bucks on me, I'll tip if they do something extra like clean my window or if it's really really nasty out. But if I don't have the cash on me, I don't feel bad if I don't tip.
