  • That GIF is exactly how I'm feeling. I had also completely forgotten about all the extra mucous I have when pregnant. Snot everywhere. I is so sexy  :#
  • Tired.. my husband's tossing and turning woke me up at 3am and I think it took an hour for me to fall back asleep. And I had already got up at some point to use the bathroom. I love him but he is a very restless sleeper and the times he accidentally falls asleep on the couch are usually the nights I get the best sleep. Of course then I miss him when I wake up and he's not there lol
  • Unexpected nausea, cramping all night every night, and the moods....all the moods!!!
  • KatieElKatieEl member
@TInman87 the moods are the worst: I'm a cranky beast lately!

  • The nausea has hit big time this past week, especially if I do not eat. My mood swings have been crazy - from irritable to wanting to cry.

@WildMagelet My appetite has decreased a ton lately - I literally am full off a few bites of food. Unless its chocolate milk, I kill that stuff.

  • Continued nausea and food aversion. I had BBQ pork in the crockpot yesterday and smelling it all day was just the worst. I managed eat a sandwich, but the angel and sight of it was no good.
  • Only real symptoms I've had is constant fatigue and sore breasts... ugh the pain while trying to run! Today has been so different though. I'm in pain and having terrible cramps but they seem to pass with some water and a nap. No aversions to anything so just trying to make healthy choices. I've been sooooo thirsty all week though and can't get enough water!

@WildMagelet I'm with ya on the fatigue. I can't keep my eyes open and my body feels like 1,000 pounds

I also have cramping and backache. I had them with my first pregnancy so not too worried. I'm just ready to have my energy back! I also have nausea off and on. I'm am animal control officer and I had to pick up a dead animal and I almost died from the smell, and I'm never like that!

@Cricket99 i totally forgot about the mucous too! My nose is running like a faucet!

I'm mostly tired and moody. I have a party to go to tonight that i have no idea how i'm going to get through.

And sore boobs. And a new one for me this time around is sensitive skin. With Dd it came after birth but this started weeks ago. All the witch hazel.
  •  Nausea is my main and worst symptom--oddly the worst from 7-10 pm every night like clockwork. And @KatieEl, I have to say the sea bands and unisom did zilch for me, hope it is better for you... BUT my new symptom that came last night is the first tri frequent urination. I went four times from10:30 pm-6 am! Luckily I did not have trouble falling back asleep!

  • @EmilyLove25 frequent urination hit me this morning too. The last month ive blamed my additional water intake. But ive had half a bottle since 8 am and ive already been to thethe bathroom 6 times!!!
  • KatieElKatieEl member
@EmilyLove25 did you take the b6 with the unisom?  it's basically a poor man's diclegis, which I knew took about 3-7 days to work for me last time.  So far, no improvements, but I keep hoping!

  • Actually feeling great in the mornings these days. It's downhill starting around 3 pm. The food aversions and nausea hit hard. I sipped some Reed's ginger ale last night and it surprisingly helped but didn't clear up the nausea completely.
  • @KatieEl I was certain I was going to hurl last night so I decided to test out the unisom b6 combo along with my sea bands. The unisom hit me like a ton of bricks 30 minutes after I took it.  I was so tired but I didn't feel nauseous. I see how it would be tough to take it during the day. Zzzzzzz.
  • So. Very. Tired. I'm tired when I wake up in the morning, I try to take a cat nap everyday while my kids have their iPads and I'm still tired. It hurts to keep my eyes open sometimes.
Mild nausea if my stomach is empty. Very hungry. I'm eating so much bad food right now but it's all I can stomach. Other then my daily smoothie, not much healthy stuff is going into my body. I usually feel normal around week 10 so 3 more weeks to go!

  • Pretty much the same here. Tired, oh so tired. But I can't sleep well.

On and off nausea and small appetite.

We are staying the weekend with my dad and sharing a room with 11 month old DD so I don't think sleep will be in the cards for me.
  • I'm so tired. So. Tired. I don't even have words for this level of tired.
Food is pretty much not interesting to me, except for random things like macarons that sound good for 5 minutes at a time.
After 10 straight days of miralax I'm finally seeing some results, WHICH IS AWESOME! I started adding in some "natural calm" which is basically a magnesium supplement, I think that was the tipping point.
The bloat is still so very much present and pants are not fun.

  • Going to a party now and look 7 months pregnant. This is fun!

  • I'm so sorry all you ladies have these crazy symptoms.
Today DH & I went to an event and we walked around for like 5 hours. My feet are killing me! But that might be due to the walking although I want to sleep and it's only 8pm. I haven't had much in terms of nausea, aversions (although there was one young man at the event that I almost threw up standing near while DH was talking, he smelled soooooo bad!!!), just tired from a long day and I'm so glad to have a scheduled prenatal massage tomorrow!!!
  • Nausea comes and goes at this point, almost like waves of it. Like @juliagulia719 I get hungry for things in 5 minute increments and then it passses.  Can we talk about facial hair?? Has anyone else seen a crazy spike in facial hair? I usually have one to two strays that I pluck, but omg last night I had 11!! All over my chin and neck. Then there's sleep-I could sleep forever and ever. I woke up an hour ago and I feel ready for a nap.
  • I think my worst right now is indigestion. It totally sucks.

Oh and nausea and MAJOR food aversions. I feel like a really bad mom and wife but cooking anything with a scent makes me want to puke. THINKING about cooking anything with a scent actually. So I am noooot into meat right now. Anything with many spices or strong smelling spices is OUT. For the most part, I'm living off cereal and toast.

My boobs are sore and getting bigger (husband is a fan of that one).

@FutureWAHM my friend would wear a mask while making dinner for her family her first trimester. Cracked me up.
  • @FutureWAHM Ugh, I am with you on these food aversions. The looks of certain things also hits my gag reflex hard. Every time this effin' "Mac and Cheetos" commercial comes on TV, I sincerely want to throw something at my TV. I don't know what we were watching but it played a lot recently.

I'm really hoping I don't lose eggs. I bought a lot recently because I was eating them regularly, and I have a ton of eggs that need eating. It didn't happen last time, but I also never really had much in the way of food aversions and nausea with my son.
  • @dgaugler86 I'm kinda the hairy type, I've done electrolysis over the years off and on but definitely noticed some new growth during my last pregnancy. I highly recommend electrolysis, painful but it works!
  • @dgaugler86 - glad I'm not the only one! The added hair is embarrassing so I find myself checking my face every night in case a new hair pops up!

Im not sure if this is pregnancy related or not, but ever since a week before I found out I have had a stuffy nose and have been getting nose bleeds in the morning some days. Today was one of those days.

  • @futureWAHM yes to the indigestion! My stomach physically hurts and cramps if I either don't eat anything or right after I eat. All the time. Ugh. I've already started a regimen of Zantac for the heartburn too.
  • Not sure who said they were having issues with the smells of the crockpot cooking all day. Today I had my husband prep some pork and we put the crockpot on the deck by the back door to avoid having to smell it all day. I've been having major aversions to all food. Almost a successful plan except for the fact that my husband left plastic wrap on the pork. Siiiigh.
  • Sooo much nausea. And headaches that are just strong enough to be annoying.

  • Tired I could sleep forever. I fall asleep about 9 up at 430 back to sleep by 6 and sleep still 9 or 10. Then I nap at 3pm. Now that has been my weekend. I work fulltime so I cant do that but its been nice.
So very nausous and most food is a turn off. I haven't really had a meal in a couple weeks. Im hungry but eating is no fun. When I do eat nothing really taste good. Its so sad for me because Im a true foodie normally.
I will be trying the vitamin b6 and unisome I need to be more functional.
My boobs hurt some but I think the nausea over powers that and I don't think about it much.
    Im so sad...
  • I have had muscle spasms in my legs the past couple days. They don't really hurt but they are strong enough that I can actually see the muscles twitch. No idea if this is a symptom as I thought leg spasms were a second trimester thing. Has anyone experienced this?
  • Just got my first bout of that gif tonight.  Up until now it has been heart burn and nausea only.  I was really hoping to avoid the vomiting this time around as I had it all day for 6 months strait with my youngest DD...  I guess that was wishful thinking.   :s

  • No real nausea. My gag reflex is pretty strong though (triggered by smells, the thought of something nasty, etc). Pretty much the only symptom I'm having is exhaustion. My boobs aren't even sore yet. I would be more worried, but I remember my last  pregnancy being similar.

  • @zamora_spin Yes I have the leg spasms! I don't remember getting them with my first, but the leg cramping and spazzing has been interesting the past few days.
  • @zamora_spin & @Cricket99 - I'm having leg spasms too but only at night. My massage therapist said my legs were really tight and need for attention along with my shoulders and neck next time.
The nausea also started. I have to take my prenatal on an empty stomach so now I'm packing 'on-the-bus' snacks otherwise I won't make it to work without throwing up on transit. That would be gross. Maybe I'll try and take a nap. Bleh..
  • Still going strong with the intermittent nausea/food aversions and still tired all the time. Cramping seems to have subsided for the most part but still waking up for a couple of hours every single freakin' night.

@zamora_spin & @Cricket99tryingfor1st  If you're having leg spasms at night try eating things with more potassium.  I had this problem with my youngest daughter and have a lot of patents who suffer from it and a lot of times potassium has seemed to be the culprit. Bananas, potatoes, and avacados are all very high in potassium  :)
