Re: Wednesday Ticker Change 5/24
2. How are you feeling? Good. It's still early on. A little nauseous every now and then but not too bad otherwise.
3. Any appointments this week? None. Gah. I wish but it's too early to do anything.
4. Rants/raves/questions? Did any of you temp your cycles? If so, are you still temping?
5. GTKY: What's the last book you read? (stole this from Monday but I'm looking for new books so I'm curious)
I haven't read an entire book in gah forever. But right now I have a few books on my list, The Nest, Startup: A Novel, and Into the Water.
J18 December Siggy Challenge: Christmas Movies
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 8 weeks, raspberry
2. How are you feeling? I don't want to jinx myself, but I'm feeling pretty good this morning. Woke up with no nausea for the first time in 3 weeks. Hope there is not an issue because I certainly went to bed feeling bad. It will probably come back!
3. Any appointments this week? Dating ultrasound yesterday!
4. Rants/raves/questions? Anyone else have subsided nausea at 8 weeks (now or in a previous pregnancy)? With DS I was sick until 18 weeks or so.
5. GTKY: What's the last book you read? (stole this from Monday but I'm looking for new books so I'm curious) I think it was The Girl on the Train.
2. How are you feeling? Over all good. Tired, but that could be because my DS has gotten me up multiple times that past few nights.
3. Any appointments this week? Nope, not until June 21.
4. Rants/raves/questions? Today is my Friday! Too mad I have mostly meetings today and have so much to get done and covered for when I am out.
5. GTKY: What's the last book you read? It was a book for work, Hacking Marketing. Nothing too exciting.
@supercoolstephy I temped, and I did take mine again today, but not sure if I will continue. It is kind of a pita cause mine takes so long to register.
@jakobaby I only had about 2 weeks of mild nausea with my first and then felt great the rest of the my pregnancy.

2. How are you feeling? Feeling very good physically - sometimes very gassy, sometimes bloated. Today so far neither. Psychologically I have been trying to focus on the positive but it does freak me out that I don't have stronger pregnancy symptoms. There have been days where I have been nauseous in-between meals but that is very sporadic.
3. Any appointments this week? No appointments until June 8.
4. Rants/raves/questions? Question - does anyone have experience with possibly getting two TDAP vaccinations during pregnancy? My little sister is pregnant and due July 24. My family lives far away but my plan was to go visit within a couple weeks of the baby's birth (I will probably be between 15-17 weeks pregnant when I visit if she delivers on her due date). My sister was just reminding me and my mom of the shots we need in order to be around the baby. Several of them I cannot get while pregnant but I am pretty sure I am all set with (chicken pox, for example) -- but one of them is TDAP and that seems like the most important one. TDAP is also recommended for pregnant women in their third trimester in order to give baby some immunity. I know TDAP is a very safe vaccine, just wondering about whether I can get it twice or what I should do in terms of timing. I will certainly ask my doctor about this when I go in as well in a couple weeks but wondered if anyone had experience as this seems like something that may have come up for others.
5. GTKY: What's the last book you read? Expecting Better by Emily Oster, before that it was TCOYF. The last non-pregnancy/fertility book I read was The Power of Habit. I used to be such a lover of literature and in my adulthood I'm a huge reading slacker.
2. How are you feeling? Pretty good most of the time. I find that I get nauseous in the evenings, and tired - oh so tired!
3. Any appointments this week? Nope, not until June 6 - seems like forever!
4. Rants/raves/questions? I've finally been able to use the restroom!
5. GTKY: What's the last book you read? I'm a reading teacher! So, many, many 4th grade books!
7 weeks, blueberry!
2. How are you feeling?
Blah. I don't want to complain or jinx myself, I'm super nauseous and tired, which is no fun. But I'm nowhere near as sick as I was with DS, so hoping that lasts.
3. Any appointments this week?
Not until June 1
4. Rants/raves/questions?
DH has been getting up in the middle of the night when DS wakes up, and it's amazing.
5. GTKY: What's the last book you read?
Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 6w, sweet pea
2. How are you feeling? Good overall. Sore boobs, hot, some hip pain. Tired at times.
3. Any appointments this week? First is 6/6.
4. Rants/raves/questions? Not at the moment.
5. GTKY: What's the last book you read? Divergent series.
Zoe Nicole: 8/21/14
Due again: 1/17/18

2. How are you feeling? Still no nausea, which is so different from the last 2 pregnancies! Lots of cramping though - way worse than previously. Like stabby, wake you up in the middle of the night, sharp cramps (but ob says it's fine)
3. Any appointments this week? not until this Tuesday - 6 more days!
4. Rants/raves/questions? I can't wait for the appointment - I'll tell my work after that. Until then it's so hard not to slip up and say something.
5. GTKY: What's the last book you read? (stole this from Monday but I'm looking for new books so I'm curious) I'm in science/research, so aside from children's books that I read to our 4 year old, I read articles/journals. Once upon a time though, I did love to read books
@supercoolstephy I temped for this pregnancy and with DS. I think I stopped a few days after the 14 dpo mark with each.
@zamora_spin when was your last tetanus shot? If you've had it in the last 5-ish years, you won't need to get it to be around your sister's baby.

and also this, same as what you were saying

@Eags I'd have to try to figure it out more definitively but I think it may have been almost 10 years since my last TDAP... unless I had to get a re-up when I went to Kenya in which case it was more like six years.
@supercoolstephy The medical community is kind of fascinating to me when it comes to due dates. All they care about is date of LMP. This is despite the fact that many many women do not have 28 day cycles where they ovulate at CD14 - some ovulate earlier, some later. I ovulated at CD13 (was temping, OPKs, checking CM, all the things), which puts my due date at 1/24. If I use LMP (4/21) I get a due date of 1/26. And the doctor's office is/will be convinced that is right unless/until I measure differently. I would just go with what YOU think your EDD is for now until you get a measurement via u/s. Really EDD is going to just be an estimate anyway.
