Daphne or Charlotte?

baby girl is due in August. Charlotte is an old favorite, Daphne is a newer love. Full name would be Charlotte Eve or Daphne Annabelle. Last name is Foster. Help!

    Both are lovely, but Daphne is more refreshing. Daphne Annabelle is great.

    Charlotte is nice but nothing exciting. Daphne is so fresh and underused

    I like both names. but I'd go with Daphne. Charlotte is so overused.

    Thanks everyone!! Daphne is the front runner for now, and I'm so glad people like it! We aren't sharing with anyone IRL so it's nice to get opinions!

    Another vote for Daphne because 1) it's cute and 2) Charlotte is really over used right now.

    I vote for Daphne. My daughter is named Charlotte and we just hear it so much these days on others. I thought when I named her Charlotte 13 years ago, it was fresh (at that time #183 on the Social Security popularity list). Last year, it was #7 and I expect it to climb higher. Go with Daphne.

    I don't love Daphne but I think it's pretty cool her initials would spell a potential nn DAF. I'm also not a huge fan of charlotte but either one would be fine.

    Haha @Mrscrocodile I think it's kind of cute too! At first it made me a little nervous bc I don't necessarily want her to be nicknamed, but my husband is stuck on Annabelle as a middle and I'm coming around to it!

    I prefer Charlotte, but I dont care about popularity as my name was in the top 10 for 20 years and I rarely meet someone with the same name.
