    @momof2furkids FX that your beta continues to increase and that your little bean is just slow to start.
    @Labluver2 it's never easy to see that stark white test, but I hope it's just too early to show a positive.
    @JaeJayStark those are great numbers! FX one of those swimmers meets your egg.
    AFM, not feeling any symptoms yet, except some cramping. It's SO hard not to read into every twinge from my pelvic area  :/

    @SoonToBeMamaHowe so sorry! I'm not sure where you live but there are some grants out there for IVF. DH and I are in the same boat. If IUI doesn't work we have to wait awhile until we can save enough for IVF. I've been looking into grants. Not guaranteed, but always a small chance you could get one.

    AFM, I'm officially in the TWW. Had my IUI this morning.  My doc is the best. She was talking to the sperm as she was doing my IUI. "Come on boys do your job."  Hopefully this one works. With 50 million sperm you think something would happen right?
  • Options
    @J1006 good luck fx this one work!!! I thought the same thing my husband had 70million good ones after the wash you would think one could hit the target.

    AFM I'm pretty positive I'm out AF due today or tomorrow and I'm spotting like normal before she shows. I'm keeping my appt tomorrow for my beta but I'll be shocked if its a BFP.
  • Options
    @SoonToBeMommaHowe  I hope you win the lotto and can get started ASAP. Thinking of you and so sorry for the BFN. I know how that goes for sure.

    @J1006 Welcome to the TWW! You are right behind me. I'm at 2dpiui. Yeah, with all that sperm, I would guess that part is working and the baby just implanting properly. That's the only thing that makes sense in my mind. Or, that my follicles don't have viable eggs in them. Something doesn't add up!

    @Labluver2 sorry that you think you are out. So very frustrating!! Have we had any BFP on here?

    @SoonToBeMommaHowe - I am so sorry for your bfn. Hoping you guys are able to save quicker than you think.

    @J1006 - Yay! Fx!

    @Labluver2 - I'm sorry you're having AF symptoms. FX she stays away.

    @JaeJayStark - one of my big fears is that I don't have eggs in my follicles... or that the ovidrel isn't working and releasing the follicle. If this isn't our cycle we're going to have a chat with the RE. I triggered last Thurs and on Sunday felt quite a bit of pain on my L side (the side with my follicle on my Tuesday ultrasound). It makes me wonder if I ovulated Sunday. Maybe it was just random pain, who knows. Either way I'm not getting my hopes up this cycle.

    @SoonToBeMommaHowe So sorry to hear about your BFN. Good luck going forward and fx you can start the next step sooner than you think!

    @JaeJayStark It is so hard not to get hopes up! I think caseyw8784 is the only one who has had a BFP on the board so far.
    @kristimh80 I'm the same way, but I think that the only way we can get through all these treatments is hoping that they will work!

    @dmo1371 has your RE ever checked your progesterone after you trigger/supposedly ovulate? Mine did after my iui's just to confirm that ovulation occurred. That might help ease your mind if you're really worried ovulation isn't happening as it should :)
    @J1006 welcome and good luck!

    @kaseycoco - hahaha i only know that i have a bfp cause i'm my own worst enemy and couldn't wait the 10 days to beta! :lol: If i hadn't POAS, then i'm not sure if i would think that it might've worked...I don't really have that many symptoms, and it's all probably the PIO anyways! Expect I'm starting to lose my appetite, which is new. and possibly because i'm getting anxious for my beta on saturday morning. even though the hpts are positive, i'm still nervous! :anguished:
  • Options
    @kaseycoco - if this isn't our cycle that is definitely something I want them to do next cycle. My RE routinely gives all IUI patients progesterone 2 days after ovulation until you get your period. Next cycle I think I'll skip the progesterone and get a 7dpo level done to confirm ovulation. I hope the rest of your TWW goes quickly!

    New member here, also in the TWW. I'm 4DP5DT and every day since has been slower moving than the next! I'm scheduled for my beta next Thursday. Anyone else with my same stats? I know symptom-watching isn't accurate, but I can't help it. I don't feel a thing other than progestrone side effects. :#

    I am just joining this group. Congrats to all with a BFP. To those who have found out they are out this month, I'm so sorry

    I am 4dpo and did a Clomid challenge this cycle, required due to my age, before doing IVF. My Clomid challenge numbers were reassuring however my AMH is not so much. It came back today at 0.9 down from 3.4 three years ago. We went ahead and tried this month after the Clomid just in case. I was feeling ok about the probability of a BFN this month because I felt confident about going forward with IVF; now not so much. Something else to dwell on during the torture that is the TWW. I will probably POAS 5/31 which will be 13dpo. After not being able to find FRER at my local CVS the past two months, I went to Walgreens and am now restocked. FX to all who are still waiting.

    @JaeJayStark we did TI after taking Clomid from CD5-CD9. Clomid lowers estrogen which increases FSH. In women my age (40) the Clomid challenge looks to see if the FSH normalizes the day after stopping the Clomid and they use this number with the CD3 FSH to predict ovarian reserve and response to stimulation.

    Random question...does anyone else when they start their progesterone suppositories get an extra pooch? The meds usually have me bloated as it is, but I noticed this morning (and other times) after starting progesterone, I have an extra little pooch...like right where I did my shots. Thank god for spanks, but its annoying! lol

    @kristimh80 Same! For me I think it's just general bloatedness everywhere making my muffin top (or is it bundtcake?) look a bit....extra... The poochiness has started to go down since yesterday, but I'm still on the suppositories. My beta #1 is this Thursday.

    Do your boobs hurt? Mine were terrible until a few days ago. The disappearing symptoms has me a bit worried....
