@saralee797 I'm really sorry to hear that. Did they explain why they have to move to a freeze cycle instead of just delaying your transfer another day or two? (My IVF ignorance is showing here sorry)
@saralee797-2 Whoops - I didn't see your last post. That's so frustrating it's no longer going to be a fresh transfer. You are really riding the IF rollercoaster of WTF is going on? Any way, thinking of you as you wait to see what happens.
@adirat apparently the success rates of a 6 day transfer are much lower. The window of time for the lining to be right for implantation is really small.
@madspunk sorry for the BFN I'll be right there with ya tonight.

It was suggested by some of the ladies here that I head over to this thread.. so here I am. I've been hard core lurking this thread for a while now and feel like I'm ready to join. You ladies amaze me. I am so sorry for those of you getting difficult news this week!
Diagnosis: Not sure yet. My OBGYN did some testing and couldn't find anything. We met with an RE a few weeks ago and things have been moving quickly. I had an HSG 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I had the first ultrasound with the antral count, bloodwork for several different things (still working on the acronyms!) and recombine testing. H has his SA this coming week.
Cycle/Day: 18 months, 8th cycle after 2nd loss
Status: WTO
What are you doing this cycle? We will continue to try on our own this month and wait to hear back from our dr.
How is it going? I'm okay. Part of me is so upset that things didn't work out easily for us and the other part is relieved to be getting help. My H wasn't very supportive of going to the RE because "we can get pregnant." He's more on board now but there were a few rough weeks.
Questions? My dr was out of town yesterday when I had to go in for my cd3 work up so I saw another dr. He was so nice and so professional but he wasn't giving me a lot of info. He said my dr would talk to us about results. When he did the antral count I had 14 on my left ovary and 17 on my right. That's really high, right? I asked the nurse who was drawing blood and she said it was fine but after reading online and searching TB I feel like it's high? any insight would be super helpful!
Chore would definitely be the bathroom!!
Thank you for letting me be a part of this thread!!

@saralee797-2 Such a rollercoaster. Hope you take time and care for yourself. Will you try to do another ER cycle then before doing the frozen transfer?
@Redpuma119 sorry you have a reason to be here, but welcome! *tw Both REs we have seen have been overly optimistic (maybe excited?!) about the fact we had a mc early on in our ttc journey, they said that is more than half the battle to get egg and sperm to meet. It is hard for me to find excitement in that because it hasn't given us the result we want, but it did give her direction of where to look for our diagnosis, my uterus. So I hope through all your testing you find your answers quickly and find hope! tw*
@saralee797-2 So sorry that you got pushed to a FET *hugs*. It's hard when we psych ourselves up only to have it be delayed. I don't know if it helps at all, but there's a certain amount of evidence showing that FETs are slightly more successful than fresh. My RE actually only does FETs unless something out of the ordinary happens.
@Redpuma119 I'm sorry to see you here but I'm glad you're getting help and moving forward. DH was a bit skeptical about going to an RE also and it took him awhile to admit we needed help.

AFM: i wrote earlier today where my cycle is and that somehow i feel bummed today. Well, about 2 hours ago i started spotting. Spotting! Regardless of the upped dosage of progesterone. I mean c'mon, i take 3x100 mg P per day. I got so sad, like i don't know if it will ever happen for us, if appearently no matter how much P they stuff me with, my uterus starts shredding 8-9 dpo... I really don't want to be a debby downer, i realize that some of us had much much tougher things to deal with this week, but feels good to share. So, my meditative friend, @madspunk if everything goes "on schedule" from now on, I'll be joining you on the bottom of that wine glass (bottle) in 1-2 days. At least that's a happy thought

@leekat14 they will call me tomorrow and let me know whether the two made it to blast or not. If they did, they will freeze them and if not, we have nothing to show for this cycle.
@ramzlau I guess it depends on whether these two even make it. If they do, we may try and FET. However, my H seems to think we should just push forward with another ER regardless. I know I can do it again physically but I have a lot of questions and would want reassurance that the protocol/outcome would be different next time.
@antoto thanks, I have read that FET success rates are higher. It is just hard to let go after enduring 5 nights of PIO shots and honestly I am more afraid that they just won't make it. It sort of feeling like it's never going to happen for us.
@Anna_1021 thanks there's a bottle of bubbly calling my name. Sorry you are feeling the same way. I hope they can figure out the drug cocktail that works for you soon.
@WillRunForWine21 its okay! I can hardly keep up with this roller coaster myself. I can't expect others too. I do appreciate the support though.
@Anna_1021 so sorry to hear that you are spotting. I hope that you get answers and some clarity as to why this happens to you and if the bottle is the best medicine, do whatever takes care of you

@ramzlau I completely agree with the re bring "okay " with our situation. I full heartily believe that if I didn't have tbis amazing board of women and their experiences, I would be following whatever the re said. I am not looking At our losses as a positive and my re knows that. ThNk you for Ome direction!
Ok first this trigger shot is insane. Holy burning. I really don't want to repeat it tomorrow morning.
So now I'm losing my mind but I'm really concerned my eggs are going to release too soon. Obviously the Dr. Knows what they are doing but holy crazy thoughts.
@antoto and @WillRunForWine21 thanks for the support. You are right, this is discouraging. But your kind words helped ma through the lowest point so thank you @WillRunForWine21 Yeah, the bottle might not be the _best_ medicine, so i rather meditated a little this morning and will go out for a run today once we hit Prague (our next destination on our weekend trip) But i stick to the plan: if AF shows again, I will have a nice red wine
@leekat14 Hold on girl, you ate almost done with this phase

@Redpuma119 Hi, welcome! Though I am sorry you find yourself here. I also find it off-putting the way doctors will say things sometimes like losses being a good sign, because it feels like THE WORST. But the reason is often because RPL often has a cause that can be fixed -- blood clotting, folate absorption, thyroid, etc. I hope they can find a quick and easy fix for you!
@anna_1021 I'm so sorry friend I was so hoping this was it for you! I wonder if the type of progesterone is an issue? I started on endometrin and continued spotting unabated, but when I switched to crinone my spotting stopped same day.
@adirat Thanks I'll definitely ask for a consult with the doc if i'm not some kind of wierd, spotting SS and AF does shows up for real. I take progesterone orally (it seems that is the protocol in my country). It is called utrogestan. Idk, i'll talk to the doc. Anyhow, no spotting (yet) today but as Antoto said, i already fee so discouraged. It would be a real SS fairy tale like magical story though: we are away on this trip celebrating our anniversary.. But if that doesn't work, I'll intertogate my doc And in the meanwhile I am rooting for so many of you here, to get good news
Me: 33, DH: 38 Married: May 2015 TTC since September 2015
I just went through the same thing, stressing about early O. I tried to keep busy and think logical like the doctors wouldn't want me to O early and have to refund my cycle, that doctors at other IVF clinics do the exact same timing of trigger, stuff like that @leekat14
@WillRunForWine21 not yet I am hoping to talk to my RE this week. At a minimum we would like two kids so we might just try one FET first and see what happens. They are graded 3BB so not perfect (but neither are we). I need a lot of answers though as I feel there were several things that went wrong with our last cycle. One thing that is making me consider another cycle is the fact that we have a bunch of leftover meds that expire in a year...
@leekat14 Yes, it will be IUI this cycle I think. I haven't talked to the RE about it yet, but we only have 2 more medicated cycles insurance will cover and I want to make sure we have the best chance possible, even if our chance with IUI is only a little higher.
@ramzlau One meditation is better than no meditation! I'm glad you were able to get that in.
@Anna_1021 Ugh! I'm sorry you're spotting. That is really frustrating and discouraging. You sound like you are doing some awesome, healthy things though to carry yourself through this.
Thanks @saralee797-2. In the car headed there now, I'm not going to love this drive! I am dreading the IV, my skin is mega dry because they said no lotion and I'm convinced that the reason my abdomen doesn't hurt is that all the follicles are gone. Seriously all sorts of emotions today!
@leekat14 The IV really wasn't that bad. I promise! And your eggs are there. Don't worry. Everything is going to be just fine!!! Deep breaths my friend.
@ladymillil I've been thinking of you -- yours has been such a long road and I'm so thrilled for you finally getting to this point. All my fingers are crossed for good news on the fert report and growing embies.
